Saratoga Springs High School is a public high school in Saratoga Springs, New York. The school was originally located on Lake Avenue, but was relocated to its current location prior to 1969. The current campus was renovated in 2002 and is a state-of-the-art facility. The school is well known for excellence in its music and drama programs. The school's drama club is a regular contender for the Schenectady Light Opera's High School Musical Award, placing 2nd in 2011 and winning first place in 2008. The girls' cross country team was ranked first in the nation for eight years, and when winning the inaugural Nike Cross Nationals in 2004 was labeled as the greatest high school girls' team in history. Their boys' cross country team won the National Championship in 2005. Also known for its other successful athletic teams, such as ice hockey (New York State champion, 1999 and 2013; New York State finalist, 2010–11), boys' and girls' lacrosse, boys' and girls' indoor and outdoor track and field, football, baseball, competitive cheerleading, girls' tennis, golf and skiing. In 2009-10, Saratoga Springs finished second among the state's Class A schools in the New York State Sportswriters Association All-Sport Championship.

The Gideon Putnam Burying Ground is located on South Franklin Street in Saratoga Springs, New York, United States. It contains over 150 graves of early and mid-19th century residents of the city, all from the period between 1812 and 1871. It was restored in the 1980s after suffering from almost a century of neglect. Gideon Putnam was the city's founder. He built one of its first resort hotels, and laid out the grid plan that guided its subsequent development. He intended for this parcel to be used as a public cemetery, and became its first burial after his death from injuries sustained in a construction accident. His grave is the only extant remnant of his presence in the city he founded.His premature death and burial meant that, apart from the Putnam family plot, it was not used much as a public cemetery since no plans or preparation had been made for that purpose. In 2003 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Saratoga and North Creek Railway was a heritage railway that began operation in July 2011. Passenger operations ceased on April 7, 2018, and the final revenue freight train to remove stored tank cars operated in May 2018. The railroad ran in the upper Hudson River region of the Adirondack Mountains, in the U.S. state of New York. The railroad operated between North Creek and Saratoga Springs, New York, where it connected with Amtrak's Ethan Allen Express and Adirondack services.

Saratoga Springs station is a train station owned by the Capital District Transportation Authority and operated by Amtrak in Saratoga Springs, New York. It is situated along the Canadian Pacific Railway. Saratoga Springs is served by Amtrak's Adirondack and Ethan Allen Express, in addition to the Saratoga & North Creek Railway's two heritage lines. The station has one low-level side platform to the east of the tracks.

The Saratoga Springs Visitor Center, located at 297 Broadway in Saratoga Springs, Saratoga County, New York, in the building known historically as "The Drinkhall", was built in 1915 as a trolley station by the Hudson Valley Railroad. It was designed by Ludlow and Peabody in the Beaux Arts style. The building consists of four sections. The three-bay, stuccoed central block is flanked by lower 1+1⁄2-story, three-bay wings. The rear section has an open porch that served as the trolley platform. It is constructed of hollow red clay tile and topped by a slate hipped roof. The building features a decorative frieze with arrowhead motifs and decorative panels in the Beaux-Arts style. The interior of the central block features a high barrel vault ceiling.The Drinkhall was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

The National Museum of Dance and Hall of Fame, in the Saratoga Spa State Park, Saratoga Springs, New York, was established in 1986. It contains photographs, videos, artifacts, costumes, and biographies. The museum is located in the former Washington Bath House and was founded by Marylou Whitney. It is related to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center and also provides dance classes and master classes through the Lewis A. Swyer School for the Arts, which hosts the New York State Summer School of the Arts during July and August.The National Museum of Dance and Hall of Fame purposed a mission from its very foundation. It was "to cultivate, promote, foster, sponsor, and develop among its members and the community at large, the appreciation, understanding, taste, and love of the Musical Arts, especially the Dance; to create a National Hall of Fame for the advancement of such purposes; to secure the interest of the patrons of these Arts, and to promote and encourage the means for popular instruction and enjoyment thereof."

The Hiram Charles Todd House, also known as the Marvin-Sackett-Todd House, is located at 4 Franklin Square in Saratoga Springs, Saratoga County, New York. It is a Greek Revival house built in the 1830s by a local hotelier. Later it was home to Hiram Charles Todd, a descendant of one of the original owners who was active in New York state politics. The house remains intact today with almost no alterations. In 1972 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the very first listing in Saratoga Springs. Later that year it became a contributing property to the Franklin Square Historic District. Two decades later that district became part of the new West Side Historic District. It is currently used as office space for several local businesses.

Saratoga Central Catholic High School is a private, Roman Catholic high school and middle school located in Saratoga Springs, New York. It is located within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany. The 2021-2022 enrollment is 202 students. Tuition for the 2021–2022 school year is $7,380 (6-8) and $9,830 (9-12).

The West Side Historic District is a residential area of Saratoga Springs, New York, United States, located west of its downtown section. It is a 122-acre (49 ha) area extending from the blocks west of Broadway to extensions along Church (NY 9N) and Washington (NY 29) streets. The former Franklin Square Historic District is included in its entirety. The neighborhoods of the district are characterized by modest, intact 19th-century houses in vernacular 19th-century architectural styles. Its development was shaped first by the divisions of the original land grant, and then by the construction of railroads into the community. During the city's peak years as a resort in the later 19th century, the West Side housed its working class. In 1994 it was recognized as a historic district and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Two of the almost 600 properties within it, a house and a cemetery, are listed on the Register in their own right.

Bethesda Episcopal Church is an Episcopal Church in Saratoga Springs, New York. The parish was incorporated in 1830. In 1841 it purchased the site of its present church at 41 Washington Street. Architect Richard Upjohn drew up plans for the church in English Gothic style, and construction was begun in 1842. The first services were held in the building in 1844.Side aisles were added in 1856. In 1886 Mrs. Rockwell Putnam, widow of the owner of the Grand Union Hotel in Saratoga Springs, donated money for construction of a tower in memory of her late husband. Architect A. Page Brown designed the additions in Norman Romanesque style. The work was completed in 1887. A notable feature of the renovation was the addition of Tiffany windows in the front facade.The church is listed in the National Register of Historic Places as a contributing property of the Broadway Historic District in Saratoga Springs.

The Universal Preservation Hall (UPH), located at 25 Washington Street in Saratoga Springs, New York is a year-round arts and community events venue. It currently seats up to 700 and has a large, open, community room. It also houses the worship space for the Universal Baptist Church, a historically African-American congregation. The building opened February 29, 2020 after being restored and re-fitted as a performance hall and rental venue. The Hall hosts a wide range of events from music to theatre, lectures, weddings, conferences, classes, and exhibits.

The Saratoga Automobile Museum is located in the 2,379-acre Saratoga Spa State Park in Saratoga Springs, New York. Housed in a former water bottling plant built in 1935, the museum is chartered by the Board of Regents of the State of New York Department of Education as a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit institution and focuses on the impact of the automobile in the past, present and future in New York and the wider world. The Museum is also a member of the American Alliance of Museums (AAM). After a full renovation, the Saratoga Automobile Museum was chartered in 1999 and officially opened to the public in June 2002. It can display approximately thirty vehicles between three galleries on two floors. The ground floor displays rotating featured exhibits between two galleries. Gallery A is an expansive space featuring 30+ foot ceilings, original tile walls and flooring, and the focal point of the gallery; 3 floor-to-ceiling palladium windows and observation walkway. This gallery is often used for public and private events and weddings. Also on the first floor is a small theater room and an art gallery showcasing local and international artists and photographers. The second floor houses the two permanent exhibits overlooking the first floor; Racing in New York and East of Detroit, plus the New York State Stock Car Association Hall of Fame.
