Pusheta Creek is a stream located entirely within Auglaize County, Ohio. The 13.7-mile (22.0 km) long stream is a tributary of the Auglaize River.Pusheta Creek was named after an Indian chief who settled there.

The former Blume High School is a historic building in downtown Wapakoneta, Ohio, United States. It was the first exclusive home of Wapakoneta High School. Prior to that time, WHS was housed with other grades.The original part of the high school was built at a cost of $41,315. This original section was designed by local architect William M. Runkle. In the mid-1920s, it was expanded with the construction of a gymnasium, a library, and the "Red Brick Section" addition; while the last portion was built with money raised from bonds, the library and gym were financed with a bequest from L.N. Blume.: 112  These additions were designed by Frank Packard of Columbus.Growth in the Wapakoneta City School District resulted in overcrowding by the mid-1950s.: 112  After a series of failed attempts, the school board succeeded in winning voter approval for the construction of a new school in 1956, and the new Wapakoneta High School building, which today serves as the Wapakoneta Middle School, opened at the beginning of 1959.: 113  Blume was converted into a junior high school for several years, but a 1988 vote resulted in the school's closing by 1990.: 112 In 1996, the former Blume High School was listed on the National Register of Historic Places because of its architecture.

The First Presbyterian Church of Wapakoneta is a historic former church building in downtown Wapakoneta, Ohio, United States. A small brick building located along Main Street west of the Auglaize County Courthouse, it is the oldest Protestant church building in Auglaize County and the oldest church building of any faith in the city of Wapakoneta. It is historically significant as west-central Ohio's only example of Greek Revival architecture with distyle in antis construction, in which two columns are located in the opening between pilasters.Organized in 1860, the congregation included many of Auglaize County's leading citizens. Unlike the majority German population of the county, the Presbyterians were primarily immigrants from East Coast states such as Virginia and New York. The congregation was greatly reduced by a financial scandal in the 1920s; reduced to a handful of members, it was disorganized in 1930 and its property sold. After it passed into the possession of the Wapakoneta Women's Club in that year, it served as the clubhouse until 1997, when it was purchased by the Auglaize County Historical Society. Since that time, the church has been converted into the Wapakoneta Museum by the society.In 1985, the church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Key to this honor was its unusual architecture and its connection to the leading members of Auglaize County society during the congregation's heyday.

The John H. Nichols House is a historic house in downtown Wapakoneta, Ohio, United States. Built in 1865, it is Wapakoneta's oldest example of the Greek Revival style of architecture. Among its leading features are a three-bay facade with a prominent gable, large entablature, and cornices under the roof, several large windows on the front and sides, and a trabeated entryway framed by several sidelights and a transom supported by two brackets.

St. Joseph's Catholic Church is a historic Roman Catholic church in Wapakoneta, Ohio, United States. Built in 1910, this church is home to an active Catholic parish, and it has been declared a historic site because of its well-preserved Romanesque Revival architecture.

The Charles Wintzer Building is a historic brick commercial building in downtown Wapakoneta, Ohio, United States. Built in 1872 at the intersection of Auglaize and Blackhoof Streets, it has always been primarily an industrial building. It was declared a historic site in 2010.

The Auglaize County Courthouse is located between West Mechanic, Willipie, West Pearl and Perry Streets in downtown Wapakoneta, Ohio, United States. Completed in 1894, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Wapakoneta (, locally ) is a city in and the county seat of Auglaize County, Ohio, United States. Located along the Auglaize River, the city is about 56 miles (90 km) north of Dayton and 83 miles (134 km) south of Toledo. The population was 9,957 at the 2020 census. It is the principal city of the Wapakoneta micropolitan area, which is included in the Lima–Van Wert–Celina combined statistical area. Neil Armstrong, the first man on the Moon, grew up in Wapakoneta, which is now the home of the Armstrong Air & Space Museum.

Wapakoneta High School (WHS), is a public high school located in Wapakoneta, Ohio, United States. Founded in 1904, it is one of four schools that make up the Wapakoneta City School District. The high school building is located on the north side of Wapakoneta, near the downtown area. Athletic teams are known as the "Redskins", with school colors of red and white. The school's enrollment is 1,160 students in grades 8 through 12. The current building opened in 1990. The former high school was adapted as the current Wapakoneta Middle School. Prior to 1956, the district's high school, built in 1908, was known as Blume High School. Native American tribes historically occupied this territory. Some have objected to use of "Redskins" for sports teams, as they consider it a derogatory term. As a result of repeated complaints and heightened social justice activism, including the George Floyd protests, in 2020 the former NFL Washington Redskins dropped that team name.

Duchouquet Township is one of the fourteen townships of Auglaize County, Ohio, United States. The 2020 census found 14,676 people in the township.

The Armstrong Air & Space Museum is a museum in Wapakoneta, Ohio, the hometown of aviator and astronaut Neil Armstrong, the first man to set foot on the Moon. Opened in 1972, the museum chronicles Ohio's contributions to the history of aeronautics and space flight. The museum is home to the original Gemini 8 spacecraft piloted by Armstrong to perform the world's first space docking, two of Armstrong's space suits, multiple items from the Apollo Program missions, a Moon rock brought back during the Apollo 11 mission, and an F5D Skylancer. The museum has several main galleries that cover spaceflight history from the early beginnings of the Space Race to the end of the Space Shuttle era. In the museum's Astro-theater, multimedia presentations and documentaries are cast upon the interior of the dome. The Armstrong Museum is a member site in a larger network of museums and destinations owned by the Ohio History Connection. The National Aviation Heritage Area (NAHA) lists the Armstrong Air & Space Museum as one of its partner organizations, citing its preservation of historically relevant material related to the history of aerospace. While the museum bears the name of the famed Apollo 11 astronaut, Armstrong had no formal connection with the museum nor did he benefit from the organization in any way.
