Goose Creek High School

St. James' Church, Goose Creek, also known as the Goose Creek Church, is an Episcopal church at 100 Vestry Lane in Goose Creek, South Carolina. Built in the 1710s, it is one of South Carolina's oldest surviving buildings, and one of a small number of surviving early Georgian chapels in the nation. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1970.

Otranto Plantation is a historic plantation house located in Hanahan, Berkeley County, South Carolina. It was built before 1778, and is a 1 1/2-half story, rectangular gable-roofed stuccoed brick dwelling. It has an attached colonnaded piazza, or porch, on three sides. Also on the property is a contributing small frame servants’ house. In 1934, the house was destroyed by a fire. The house was meticulously restored based upon photographs before the fire. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

The Christian Coalition of America (CCA), a 501(c)(4) organization, is the successor to the original Christian Coalition created in 1987 by religious broadcaster and former presidential candidate Marion Gordon "Pat" Robertson. This US Christian advocacy group includes members of various Christian denominations, including Baptists (50%), mainline Protestants (25%), Roman Catholics (16%), and Pentecostals (10% to 12%) among communicants of other churches.

Goose Creek is a city in Berkeley County in the U.S. state of South Carolina. The population was 35,938 at the 2010 census. Most of the Naval Weapons Station Charleston is in Goose Creek. As defined by the U.S. Office of Management and Budget, and used only by the U.S. Census Bureau and other federal agencies for statistical purposes, Goose Creek is included within the Charleston–North Charleston–Summerville metropolitan area and the Charleston–North Charleston Urbanized Area.

Northwoods Mall is a 101-store super-regional 833,833-square-foot (77,465.6 m2) indoor shopping mall located in North Charleston, South Carolina. It is the second largest indoor shopping mall in the Tri-County area next to Citadel Mall. Built in 1972, the mall is located at the intersection of Rivers Avenue (U.S. Highway 52), Ashley Phosphate Road and Interstate 26. Northwoods Mall was the first regional indoor shopping mall constructed in the South Carolina lowcountry and featured Belk, Sears, and the locally owned Kerrison's department stores as its original anchor tenants. A food court offers options such as Charleys Philly Steaks and Sbarro. The mall's anchor stores are Dillard's, Belk, JCPenney and Burlington. Northwoods Mall also features Books-A-Million and Planet Fitness as inline junior anchors. The mall also once housed a Woolworth's but it was remodeled into the food court in 1997. In 1989 the mall closed its small theater in favor of a multi-screen complex located just outside of Dillard's. The mall underwent a significant expansion and renovation in 1985 and Thalhimer's was added as an anchor tenant. Lost in the remodel was a Morrison's Cafeteria located next to Kerrison's.In 1992 Thalhimer's was sold to Dillard's. The store would later be expanded in 2004. Also in 1992, Kerrison's was closed and demolished. It would be replaced by a two-level JCPenney in February 1993 that was relocating from the nearby Charles Towne Square which was beginning a steep decline at the time. Northwoods Mall was purchased in 1984 by Jacobs, Visconsi & Jacobs (later known as the Richard E. Jacobs group), owners and developers of Charleston's Citadel Mall, and later sold to current owners CBL & Associates Properties who again remodeled the mall in 2004. CBL & Associates Properties owned Citadel Mall until defaulting on mortgage payments and losing it to the lien-holder in a foreclosure sale in 2014. In 2015, Sears Holdings spun off 235 of its properties, including the Sears at Northwoods Mall, into Seritage Growth Properties. Sears closed its store in July 2017 and the building was subdivided with half left vacant and half becoming Burlington. Carrabba's is also an outparcel on the Seritage site.

The Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic) is an Echelon III activity of the United States Navy located in North Charleston, South Carolina. The center’s mission is to deliver information warfare solutions that protect national security. This includes communication systems (radios), networking systems (routers/switches), cyber operations (red team/forensics/network defense), intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (sensors/decision support applications), business systems (benefits/personnel) and information security.Effective February 18, 2019, the names of the systems center changed from Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SPAWAR) to Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic.

Naval Support Activity Charleston, originally designated Naval Weapons Station Charleston, is a base of the United States Navy located on the west bank of the Cooper River, in the cities of Goose Creek and Hanahan South Carolina. The base encompasses more than 17,000 acres (69 km²) of land with 10,000 acres (40 km²) of forest and wetlands, 16-plus miles of waterfront, four deep-water piers, 38.2 miles (61.5 km) of railroad and 292 miles (470 km) of road. The current workforce (military/civil service/contractor) numbers more than 11,000 with an additional 3,600 people in on-base family housing.Of the three Naval Weapons Stations on the U.S. East Coast, the Charleston facility is the largest. Under the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure Commission's recommendations, the Air Force is to jointly manage Naval Weapons Station Charleston and Charleston Air Force Base as Joint Base Charleston.

Trident Technical College (TTC) is a public community college with its main campus in Charleston, South Carolina and other campuses throughout Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester counties. It is part of the South Carolina Technical College System. Enrollment for each semester is approximately 12,000 students working their way toward college transfer associate degrees and technical associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates.

Northside Christian School is a private Christian school in North Charleston, South Carolina, United States. It is a ministry of Northside Baptist Church and was founded in 1975 by Dr. Garth Sibert. Northside has more than 300 students in grades K3-12. There is also a Toddler 1-2 program. There are 786 alumni serving in ministry, the military, education, and in professions such as dentistry, medicine, law, and engineering. Northside is accredited by the South Carolina Association of Christian Schools and is a long-time member of the Tri-County Admissions Council, an association of independent schools in the tri-county area. The school colors are royal blue and gold, its mascot is a bald eagle. "Northside Eagle" is displayed on athletic and school uniforms. The school's Bible verse is Isaiah 40:31.

Nuclear Power School (NPS) is a technical school operated by the U.S. Navy in Goose Creek, South Carolina as a central part of a program that trains enlisted sailors, officers, KAPL civilians and Bettis civilians for shipboard nuclear power plant operation and maintenance of surface ships and submarines in the U.S. nuclear navy. As of 2020 the United States Navy operates 98 nuclear power plants, including 71 submarines (each with one reactor), 11 aircraft carriers (each with two reactors), two Moored Training Ships (MTS) and two land-based training plants. NPS is the centerpiece of the training pipeline for U.S. Navy nuclear operators. It follows initial training at Nuclear Field "A" School (for enlisted operators) or a college degree (for officer operators and a small number of civilian contractors), and culminates with certification as a nuclear operator at one of the Navy's two Nuclear Power Training Units (NPTU).

Yeamans Hall Club is a country club built on a 1100-acre tract about 12 miles from Charleston, South Carolina, along Goose Creek on the site of a 17th-century plantation.
