Academy Palace

Trône (French) or Troon (Dutch) is a Brussels metro station on the southern segment of lines 2 and 6. It is located under the small ring at the Place du Trône/Troonplein, near the Royal Palace of Brussels, in the municipality of the City of Brussels (Belgium). The station opened as a premetro (underground tram) station on 20 December 1970 under the name Luxembourg. It became a heavy metro station on 2 October 1988 and its name was changed to reflect the neighbouring Place du Trône/Troonplein ("Throne Square").

The Institut national supérieur des arts du spectacle et des techniques de diffusion, better known as INSAS, is a Belgian film and drama school founded by Raymond Ravar, André Delvaux, Paul Anrieu, and Jean Brismée in 1962. Director Fabrice Du Welz, was a former student.

The Equestrian Statue of Leopold II (French: Statue équestre de Léopold II, Dutch: Ruiterstandbeeld van Leopold II) is a bronze equestrian statue erected in Brussels, Belgium, in memory of King Leopold II, second King of the Belgians. It was created by the sculptor Thomas Vinçotte in 1914, but it was not finalised until 1926 by the architect François Malfait, when it was inaugurated in honour of the king.The statue stands on the Place du Trône/Troonplein, to the south-east of the Royal Palace of Brussels, at the point where the Rue Ducale/Hertogsstraat joins the Boulevard du Régent/Regentlaan (Small Ring), and a few tens of metres from the Royal Stables of Brussels. It is also close to Matongé, an African (mainly Congolese) district of Ixelles. This area is served by Brussels Central Station, as well as by the metro stations Parc/Park (on lines 1 and 5) and Trône/Troon (on lines 2 and 6).

The European Low Fares Airline Association (ELFAA) was an organization formed in 2004 to represent low-cost carriers and lobby European institutions on their behalf. It ceased operations and disbanded in 2016, as major members joined the newly formed trade group Airlines for Europe. ELFAA was based in Brussels, Belgium.

ING Belgium is the Belgian subsidiary of the ING Group, an international banking company. The bank was formerly known as Bank Brussel Lambert which became part of ING Group in 1998. It provides retail and commercial banking services to individuals and businesses in Belgium, together with related financial products such as insurance and asset management.

The Embassy of Sweden, Brussels was the diplomatic mission of Sweden in Brussels between 1837 and 2011. The mission was elevated from legation to embassy in 1956. The embassy in Brussels had a bilateral role, focusing on enhancing Sweden's relations with Belgium. It housed a consular section offering services to Swedish citizens and individuals with Swedish connections. Additionally, the embassy hosted the Swedish Trade Council's office as its trade section. The ambassador's responsibilities included maintaining continuous dialogue with the Belgian government, especially regarding EU affairs, and fostering economic and cultural ties between Belgium and Sweden. Since 2011, a Stockholm-based ambassador has been responsible for the bilateral relations between Sweden and Belgium. In 2020, Sweden opened a consulate general in Brussels with a focus on consular activities.

Brussels Park (French: Parc de Bruxelles, Dutch: Warandepark) is the largest urban public park in central Brussels, Belgium. Formerly known and still sometimes colloquially referred to as the Royal Park (French: Parc Royal, Dutch: Koninklijk Park), it was also the city's first public park. The area of the rectangular park is 13.1 ha (32 acres).The park is surrounded by the Place des Palais/Paleizenplein to the south, the Rue Royale/Koningsstraat to the west, the Rue de la Loi/Wetstraat to the north and the Rue Ducale/Hertogstraat to the east. The main entrance is on the northern side, opposite the Belgian House of Parliament (Palace of the Nation). An avenue leads to the main pond, from which three other avenues offer views of three important places in Brussels: the Palace of Justice, the Royal Palace and the Place du Trône/Troonplein. This area is served by Parc/Park metro station on lines 1 and 5 of the Brussels Metro.

The Vauxhall of Brussels (French: Vauxhall de Bruxelles, Dutch: Vauxhall van Brussel), otherwise known as the Waux-Hall, is a historic building in Brussels Park in Brussels, Belgium. It is named after the pleasure gardens of Vauxhall in London, which only became known to the inhabitants of Brussels in 1761, when a ballet entitled Le Phaxal was put on at the Theatre of La Monnaie. In Paris, the stage-builder Torré opened a "garden of amusements" in 1764, which the public came to call the Vaux-Hall de Torré. A Vaux-Hall d'hiver ("Winter Vauxhall") was set up in 1769 at the Foire Saint-Germin. The history of the Brussels' Vauxhall is intimately linked to that of the Royal Park Theatre. It was opened in 1781 by Alexandre Bultos and his brother Herman Bultos (co-directors of La Monnaie and of the Park Theatre). It was initially a drinking palace, concert hall and theatre. Since 1818, it has been the property of the City of Brussels. It has been used by the arts and literature club Cercle Gaulois and its predecessors, as a venue for meetings, dinners, exhibitions and concerts.

The Royal Quarter (French: Quartier Royal or Quartier de la Cour; Dutch: Koninklijke Wijk or Koningswijk) is a quarter in the historic upper town of Brussels, Belgium.

The Place des Palais (French) or Paleizenplein (Dutch), meaning "Palaces' Square", is a major square in the Royal Quarter of Brussels, Belgium. It is flanked by Brussels Park to the north, the Royal Palace of Brussels to the south and the Academy Palace to the east. This area is served by Brussels-Central railway station, as well as by the metro stations Parc/Park (on lines 1 and 5) and Trône/Troon (on lines 2 and 6).

The Royal Park Theatre (French: Théâtre Royal du Parc, Dutch: Koninklijk Parktheater) is a theatre in Brussels, Belgium. It is located at 3, Rue de la Loi/Wetstraat, on the edge of Brussels Park, facing the Belgian House of Parliament (Palace of the Nation). It is served by the metro stations Parc/Park (on lines 1 and 5) and Arts-Loi/Kunst-Wet (on lines 2 and 6).

L’Église de la rue Belliard was a Brussels-based evangelical Protestant congregation, started in 1837 when a group left the Temple de l'Observatoire Protestant church.
