Bridge in Radnor Township No. 1 is a historic stone arch bridge that carries Goshen Road over Darby Creek to Darby Paoli Road in Radnor, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The current structure was built in 1905, and is an 80-foot-long (24 m), arch bridge with three arch spans of 45-foot (14 m), 19-foot (5.8 m), and 16-foot-long (4.9 m). It features an unfinished stone parapet cap. It spans the Darby Creek.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Little Darby Creek is a tributary of Darby Creek in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is approximately 2.6 miles (4.2 km) long and flows through Radnor Township.

The Hood Octagonal School is a historic octagonal schoolhouse located in Newtown Square, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1841, and is a small, fieldstone, one-story, eight sided building with a wood shingled pyramidal roof. The school was abandoned about 1865, then restored in 1964.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006. The Newtown Square Historical Society says it was built by James Dunwoody, father of William Hood Dunwoody, to replace an earlier log school built by James' father.

Newtown Township is a township in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States. Prior to 1789 it was part of Chester County. The population was 12,216 as of the 2010 census, and was 19,705 as of 2017.

The Academy of Notre Dame de Namur is a private middle school and high school for girls in Radnor, Pennsylvania. It is located within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia; however, Notre Dame is an independent school. Notre Dame's mission is "to educate young women for responsible living in a global society with an extensive co-curricular and athletic program."

The Newtown Square Friends Meeting House is a historic Quaker meetinghouse in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, United States, built in 1711 and expanded in 1791 and 1891. It has housed, and continues to house, Quaker meetings for worship for over 300 years.

Square Tavern, also known as the John West House, The Square, and Newtown Square Tavern, is a historic tavern located at Newtown Square, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The original section was completed in 1742, and is a 2 1/2-story, rectangular gable roofed brick building, measuring 32 feet wide and 28 feet deep. A small two-story kitchen addition was built sometime before 1798, and later replaced with a two-story wing. The wing was removed during the 1981 restoration, which returned the building to its 1742 appearance. The building serves as a museum and home to the Delaware County Tourist Bureau.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Aronimink Golf Club is a private country club in the eastern United States, located in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, a suburb west of Philadelphia. Its championship layout is consistently rated among the nation's top golf courses. Aronimink is currently ranked 78th in Golf Digest's "Greatest Courses," 44th in "Toughest Courses" and 55th in Golfweek's "Classic Courses." In 2010, Aronimink was ranked #4 among the toughest courses on the PGA Tour by Links magazine.The club has been host to multiple USGA and PGA championships in its history. Additionally, Aronimink has indoor and outdoor tennis and paddle courts, trap shooting, three swimming pools, a fitness center and a classic Tudor clubhouse with multiple dining options.

The 1962 PGA Championship was the 44th PGA Championship, played July 19–22 at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, a suburb west of Philadelphia. Gary Player won the first of his two PGA Championships, one stroke ahead of runner-up Bob Goalby, for the third of his nine major titles and the third leg of his career grand slam. The Open Championship was played the previous week in Troon, Scotland, the first of five times in the 1960s that these two majors were played in consecutive weeks in July. The PGA Championship moved permanently to August in 1969 (except 1971, when it was played in late February). Player missed the 36-hole cut at Troon, the British Open was won by Arnold Palmer for the second straight year. Palmer had also won the Masters in April. Both the U.S. Open and PGA Championship were played in his home state of Pennsylvania in 1962, just five weeks apart. Palmer lost to 22-year-old Jack Nicklaus in an 18-hole playoff at the U.S. Open at Oakmont near Pittsburgh, then finished ten strokes back in a tie for 17th at Aronimink.Jack Nicklaus, age 22, shot a final round 67 to finish in a tie for third in his first PGA Championship.This championship was originally scheduled for Brentwood Country Club in Los Angeles, the first in California since 1929. In November 1960, the PGA of America had voted to retain its "caucasian only" clause, and had gained the ire of California's attorney general Stanley Mosk, who threatened to shut down the PGA in the state until the clause was removed. In response, the championship for 1962 was moved from Los Angeles to Philadelphia. The PGA of America dropped the clause in November 1961 by amending its constitution. The championship returned to California in 1977 at Pebble Beach, but was not played in southern California until 1983 at Riviera.

The Crosley–Garrett Mill Workers' Housing, Store, and Mill Site, also known as Paper Mill House and the William Crosley Store and Mill Workers' House, is a historic mill-related complex located on Darby Creek in Newtown Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The complex consists of a four-family stone Workers' Housing unit (1828), with an attached store (1845), and the archaeological remains of William Crosley's Woolen Mill (1828-1861) and Casper S. Garrett's Union Paper Mill (1869-1889). The buildings house the Paper Mill House Museum and headquarters of the Newtown Square Historical Society.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

Camp-Woods, is a historic estate with associated buildings located at Villanova, Delaware County, Pennsylvania and built on a 400 ft (120 m) high spot which had been a 200-man outpost of George Washington's Army during the Valley Forge winter of 1777–78. The house, built between 1910 and 1912 for banker James M. Willcox, is a two-story, brick and limestone, "F"-shaped house in an Italianate-Georgian style. It measures 160 ft (49 m) in length and 32 ft (9.8 m) deep at the "waist." It has a slate roof, Doric order limestone cornice, open loggia porches, and a covered entrance porch supported by Doric order columns. The house was designed by architect Howard Van Doren Shaw (1869-1926). The property includes formal gardens. Its former carriage house is no longer part of the main estate. The original tennis court is now also a separate property named "Outpost Hill". The Revolutionary encampment is marked by a flagpole in a circular stone monument at the north-western edge of the property. The inscription reads, "An outpost of George Washington's Army encamped here thro the winter of Valley Forge 1777-1778". The Camp-Woods mansion was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Chanticleer Garden is a forty-eight-acre botanical garden built on the grounds of the Rosengarten estate at 786 Church Road in Wayne, Pennsylvania. Located on Philadelphia's historic Main Line, Chanticleer retains a domestic scale and is welcoming to visitors for relaxation, walking, and picnics. The grounds became open to the public in 1993. Visitors are welcome to tour the estate seasonally, from April through October. The house and grounds were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
