The Academy of Notre Dame de Namur is a private middle school and high school for girls in Radnor, Pennsylvania. It is located within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia; however, Notre Dame is an independent school. Notre Dame's mission is "to educate young women for responsible living in a global society with an extensive co-curricular and athletic program."

Conestoga Road, also called "Conestoga Pike" or "Allegheny Path", is a historic road dating from at least 1684 in what is now the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. It starts as Allegheny Avenue in Philadelphia to the west through Morgantown, Harrisburg and west towards the Allegheny Valley. Originally the road was a walking path that was 12-18 inches in width. During the era of horse drawn Conestoga wagons, the road was widened. During most of its existence as a turnpike, it served as the alternate route to the Lancaster Pike and Ridge Road (present day Pennsylvania Route 23). The route gained notoriety as the shortest route from Philadelphia to Harrisburg.

Radnor Friends Meetinghouse is a historic Quaker meeting house on Sproul and Conestoga Roads in Radnor Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. In 1686, there were sufficient number of Friends in Radnor township to begin meetings at the house of John Jerman, a Quaker minister. The current meeting house was built in 1717 with an addition made several years later. An earlier meeting house existed on the site as early as 1693. During the Revolutionary War, the meeting house was used as an outpost for General George Washington's Continental Army.The meeting house added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.Worship services are held weekly at 10am.

The Booth School or "The Booth School: A Country School for Boys and Girls" was a private or independent school in the Philadelphia Main Line suburbs from 1938 to 1976. The 27-acre (110,000 m2) campus it occupied for most of its existence was located at the intersection of Ithan Avenue and Clyde Road in Rosemont, Pennsylvania, and is now the site of Hill Top Preparatory School; this site is in Lower Merion Township.

The Hill Top Preparatory School is a grade fifth through twelve preparatory day school for students with learning disabilities. It is located in Radnor Township, Pennsylvania, with a Rosemont address.

Ithan (pronounced EYE-thun), formerly known as Radnorville, is a small village and neighborhood located in Villanova, Pennsylvania, west of Philadelphia. It is generally considered to include all portions of Villanova approximately a half mile either side of the Blue Route.Ithan is centered on the intersection of Radnor Chester and Conestoga Roads, at the site of the Radnor Friends Meetinghouse. It is located approximately 3/4 mile south of Lancaster Avenue on the Main Line. It encompasses the Ardrossan estate and the small community of Banjo Town to the west, and the Agnes Irwin School to the east. The community is located in the center of Radnor Township, southeast of Wayne, and is nearly entirely residential, barring a small business district on the north side of the Meetinghouse. Prior to the 1980s, Ithan was relatively rural and undeveloped. However, increased population growth in the Delaware Valley, along with Ithan's location close to the Main Line, has catapulted Ithan into one of the most desirable suburbs of Philadelphia. All of Ithan is part of the Radnor Township School District, and the community is also home to the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur.

The Agnes Irwin School is a non-sectarian college preparatory day school for girls from pre-kindergarten through grade 12. It was founded in 1869 by Agnes Irwin in Philadelphia. Irwin, a great-great-granddaughter of Benjamin Franklin, later became the first dean of Radcliffe College. In 1933, the campus moved to Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, and then to its present location in Rosemont in 1961.

Ithan Station was a former train station of the Philadelphia and Western Railroad outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was constructed as a stop on the Strafford Branch of the line that is now known as the Norristown High Speed Line. The station was active along what was then considered to be the main line (1907–1956) until the Norristown branch became the main line in 1912. According to another source, the station was situated between the Wayne Junction and Radnor stations.

Radnor Township, often called simply Radnor, is a first class township with home rule status in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States. As of the 2019 United States census estimate, the township population is 31,875. Radnor Township is the largest municipality in Delaware County by land area and the fourth-largest by population, following Upper Darby Township, Haverford Township, and Chester.Radnor Township is one of the oldest municipalities in Pennsylvania. Radnor Township was founded as a part of the Welsh tract. The original settlers were Welsh-speaking Quakers, led by John Roberts, in an attempt to establish an barony of Wales in Pennsylvania. In about 1681, a group of Welsh Quakers met with William Penn to secure a grant of land in which they could conduct their affairs in their own language. The parties agreed on a tract covering 40,000 acres (160 km2), to be constituted as a separate county whose people and government could conduct their affairs in Welsh. William Penn, an English Quaker, laid out the township in an elongated rectangle located parallel to the Schuylkill River, and the borders of the township have remained unchanged since its founding in 1682.In 1717, the Welsh Friends built a meeting house on a trail made by the Susquehannock Indians in Radnor Township. Radnor Township grew around the meeting house and remained the center of population of the township for 200 years. The new township was named "Radnor" after the county in Wales called Radnorshire. The influence of the Welsh, some of whom were forced by heavy taxation to sell their land, waned in the latter half of the 18th century. A hint of Radnor's beginnings remain in the names of streets and places evident throughout the community, such as the St. Davids neighborhood, named for Saint David, the patron saint of Wales.There are a number colleges and universities located in Radnor Township. The two largest, Villanova University and Cabrini University. The Valley Forge Military Academy and College is located in the neighborhood of Wayne and Eastern University is located in the neighborhood of St. Davids.

The Welsh Tract, also called the Welsh Barony, was a portion of the U.S. state of Pennsylvania settled largely by Welsh-speaking Quakers. It is located to the west of Philadelphia. The original settlers, led by John Roberts, negotiated with William Penn in 1684 to constitute the Tract as a separate county whose local government would use the Welsh language. The Barony was never formally created, but the many Welsh settlers gave their communities Welsh names that survive today. A more successful attempt at setting up a Gwladfa (Welsh-speaking colony) occurred two centuries later, in the Chubut Province of Patagonia, Argentina.

Sacred Heart Academy Bryn Mawr, commonly referred to as, SHA or Sacred Heart, is a highly selective, independent, private, Roman Catholic school for girls. Sacred Heart is located on the Main Line in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and consists of a Lower, Middle, and Upper School with approximately 232 in enrollment. The school is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools.

Radnor High School is a public high school in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Of all high schools in Pennsylvania, Radnor is ranked 3rd by U.S. News & World Report, and 1st by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
