Pickerington High School Central

Violet Township is one of the thirteen townships of Fairfield County, Ohio, United States. As of the 2020 census the population was 45,785, up from 38,572 people at the 2010 census. It is the only Township in Fairfield County that is classified as an Urban township.

Pickerington is a city in Fairfield and Franklin counties in the central region of the U.S. state of Ohio. It is a suburb of Columbus. The population was 23,094 at the 2020 census. It was founded in 1815 as Jacksonville, named after Andrew Jackson. The name was changed in 1827 in honor of its founder, Abraham Pickering. As land annexation, development, and immigration into the Columbus area continues, the city of Pickerington (like many area suburbs) has generally followed suit. Pickerington is home to the Motorcycle Hall of Fame, located off of Interstate 70. The Ohio Secretary of State certified Pickerington as a city in 1991 and it was designated as the "Violet Capital of Ohio" in 1996 by the Ohio Legislature. At 11.1 sq mi (29 km2), Pickerington is the second-largest city in Fairfield County behind Lancaster. Pickerington is located just east of Columbus. The city features a historic downtown shopping area, while Violet Township is home to rolling hills, log houses, forests, and fields.

Pickerington High School North is a public high school in Pickerington, Ohio. It is one of two high schools in the Pickerington Local School District. In the city of Pickerington, it is referred to simply as "North" and their mascot is the Panther. In 2002, "Pickerington High School" split into two high schools, Pickerington High School Central and Pickerington High School North. Pickerington High School North opened on August 24, 2003.

OhioHealth Pickerington Methodist Hospital is a, 220,000-square-foot (20,000 m2), primary care hospital in Pickerington, Ohio. Pickerington Methodist is a member hospital of OhioHealth, a not-for-profit, faith-based healthcare system. It is located off Ohio State Route 256. Pickerington Methodist is the second ever full-service hospital to be built in Fairfield County, Ohio.As part of the OhioHealth system of hospitals, Pickerington Methodist includes services such as 24-hour emergency department, intensive care beds and private rooms, women's health services (including obstetrics), Heart and Vascular (Diagnostic and Interventional Cath Labs), Acute Stroke Program, and more.

Pickerington Ponds Metro Park is a metropolitan park in Pickerington and Columbus, Ohio, owned and operated by Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks. The park has 1,608 acres (651 ha) with several trails and five overlooks for bird and other wildlife watching. It is a State Nature Preserve, primarily focused on providing a habitat for various birds and contains many wetland areas. Pickerington Ponds is designated an Important Bird Area by Audubon Ohio. More than 260 species of birds have been seen here. The park is designated as an Important Bird Area (IBA) by The Audubon Society.

The Times Building-Lodge Hall, at 19 E. Waterloo St. in Canal Winchester, Ohio, was built in 1902. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.It is a two-part commercial block building. In 1999, it was still the only three-story building in town.It was the first building built for the Winchester Times newspaper, and it served the local Masonic and Eastern Star groups for more than 80 years.The NRHP listing included two contributing buildings. The newspaper and Masonic Lodge partnered to construct the building for joint use. The newspaper had previously been located in three other building before constructing this building, where it remained until 1976. The building also housed the Franklin Telephone company, which brought the first telephone line to town in 1882.

Arendt–Seymour House is a historic building in Canal Winchester, Ohio. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. It is considered an example of Railroad Era architecture and features Italianate details.

David's Reformed Church is a historic Reformed church at 80 W. Columbus Street in Canal Winchester, Ohio. The Gothic Revival church building was constructed in 1881 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. The church is currently affiliated with the United Church of Christ.

The AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum is an offshoot of the American Motorcyclist Association, recognizing individuals who have contributed to motorcycle sport, motorcycle construction, or motorcycling in general. It also displays motorcycles, riding gear, and memorabilia in two floors of exhibits. The American Motorcyclist Association board began planning the museum c. 1998.The museum is located in Pickerington, Ohio, United States.

Canal Winchester is a public high school located in Canal Winchester, Ohio. The town is located 25 minutes South-East of downtown Columbus and is about 30 minutes away from historic Lancaster. It is the only high school in the Canal Winchester School District.
