Hulftegg Pass (el. 954 m.) is a mountain pass between the cantons of Zürich and St. Gallen in Switzerland. It connects Mühlrüti in the municipality of Mosnang and Steg in the municipality of Fischenthal in the Töss Valley. The pass lies between the Toggenburg in St. Gallen and the valley of the Töss River in Zürich. The pass road has a maximum grade of 10 percent. At the summit is a popular restaurant. From the pass, there are hiking trails to climb the surrounding peaks, including the Hörnli and the Schnebelhorn.

Mühlrüti

Mühlrüti is a small town in the Canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland. It is part of the municipality of Mosnang in Toggenburg, in hilly northeastern Switzerland. The population of about 400 people works mainly in the dairy farming industry.

Hohgrat

The Hohgrat (also known as Groot) is a mountain located on the border between the Swiss cantons of Thurgau and St. Gallen. Reaching a height of 996 metres above sea level, it is the highest point of the canton of Thurgau. The mountain is densely forested, except the eastern (St. Gallen) side, which includes some limestone cliffs.

Hörnli

Hörnli mountain is located on the territory of the community of Fischenthal, in the Zürcher Oberland, in the eastern part of canton of Zürich, in Switzerland. It is 1,133 meters (3,717 ft) high. North of the Hörnli, the Dreiländerstein, altitude 992 meters (3,255 ft), marks the meeting of the boundaries of the three Cantons of Zürich, St.Gallen and Thurgau. Already in the Middle Ages, the so-called Schwabenweg, led over the Hörnli, as a part of the Way of St. James. Since 2008, it is an integrated stretch of the Kreuzlingen branch on the Via Jacobi, registered on the official Swiss national trekking path nr. 4, signalled as leg Fischingen–Rapperswil on Wanderland Schweiz.

Steg railway station, also known as Steg im Tösstal railway station, is a railway station in the Swiss canton of Zurich. The station is situated in the municipality of Fischenthal and takes its name from the nearby village of Steg (Töss Valley). It is located on the Tösstalbahn between Winterthur and Rüti ZH

Schnebelhorn

The Schnebelhorn is a mountain located near Fischenthal in the Töss Valley, between the cantons of Zurich (west) and St. Gallen (east). It is the highest summit of the canton of Zurich. Various trails lead to the summit from all sides. Most of the massif is covered by forests.

Fischingen Abbey

Fischingen Abbey (Kloster Fischingen), now Fischingen Priory, is a Benedictine monastery situated in Fischingen in the Canton of Thurgau, Switzerland, on the upper reaches of the Murg, a tributary of the Thur. It was founded in 1138, dissolved in 1848 and re-founded as a priory in 1977.

Bachtelblick-Schanze

The Bachtelblick-Schanze is a ski jumping hill in the town of Gibswil, close to Fischenthal, Switzerland. It was built in 2005-06 and was opened in late 2006. In the summer it is covered with plastic matting. Close to this hill there is also a K28 and K14. The hill record, 65.5 m was set by Adrian Schuler, jumping for SC Einsiedeln.
