Penfield 3 railway station

Penfield 2 railway station was located on the Penfield line located in the northern Adelaide suburb of Edinburgh. It was located 24.2 kilometres from Adelaide station. The station opened between 1940 and 1942 and had an island platform which was 213.4 metres long. The station closed on 4 January 1991, simultaneously with neighbouring station Penfield 1 station. It has since been demolished.

Elizabeth South railway station is located on the Gawler line. Situated on the border of northern Adelaide suburbs of Elizabeth South and Edinburgh, it is 24 kilometres (15 mi) from Adelaide station.

Elizabeth Oval, (currently X Convenience Oval due to sponsorship reasons), is an Australian rules football stadium located in Elizabeth, a suburb 24km North of Adelaide, South Australia. Elizabeth Oval is the home ground of the Central District Football Club who play in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). The Bulldogs (also commonly known as the Centrals) played their first SANFL league match at the ground in 1964 after playing in the SANFL B-grade (Reserves) since the club's inception in 1959. The ground has a capacity of approximately 18,000 people, with a single grandstand that seats 1,500. The oval, the longest goal to goal venue in the SANFL at 178m (3m longer than Woodville Oval, though fence to fence it is 15m shorter), and is surrounded by concrete terracing on the grandstand side of the ground, plus a 5 row ring of concrete around the rest of the ground, with grass banks around the entire outer. The ground record crowd of 16,029 was set in 1984 for an SANFL match between the Centrals and the Port Adelaide Magpies. After negotiations between Central District and the City of Playford, light towers were installed in March 2006 allowing the Bulldogs to play night SANFL games. The first official night game was held at the oval in April 2006 when 7,329 fans turned out to see the defending SANFL premiers (Centrals) defeat Sturt. The ground has not been used for many night matches since the 2000's, other than a few pre season matches. The ground was known as Elizabeth Oval from the time it opened until 2001. In 2002 the Club signed a naming rights deal with NAP Finance and the oval's name changed to NAP Oval. Elizabeth Oval was the first SANFL Club Venue to secure an Oval Naming Rights Deal. The first deal expired after 2005 and NAP was replaced by Northern Adelaide home builder Hamra Homes who held the naming rights until the end of 2010. From 2011 to 2015 the oval was known as Playford Alive Oval, and in 2016 changed its name to My Money House Oval. From 2019 South Australian service station company X Convenience held the naming rights of the Oval. Elizabeth Oval is easily accessible by either car or public transport with Adelaide's northern suburban commuter railway line, the Gawler railway line passing by the western side of the oval and the main bus and train interchange (Elizabeth railway station) located within five minutes walking distance of the oval. The ground also has plenty of in ground (for members, players and officials) and on-street car parking, as well as ample parking at the nearby shopping mall, the Elizabeth City Centre.

Edinburgh North is a northern suburb of Adelaide. It is in the City of Playford local government area, the state electoral seat of Taylor and the federal electoral seat of Spence. The suburb of Edinburgh North was gazetted on 27 October 2011. It renamed Elizabeth West plus a small area of Penfield. The suburb is entirely industrial except for the St Patrick's Technical College. None of the suburb is zoned residential.

St Patrick's Technical College, (also referred to as St Pat's Tech, St Patrick's), is a technical college in the northern suburbs of South Australia's capital, Adelaide. Opened in 2007 by the Australian Government as part of the Australian Technical Colleges program, it now operates as part of Catholic Education SA.St Patrick's offers a technical focused senior secondary education (Years 11 and 12) and specialises in vocational education programs for students who wish to include a School-based Apprenticeship (SbA) as part of their South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE).

Elizabeth West was a northern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia in the City of Playford. It was established in 1955 as a satellite suburb to the Elizabeth town centre. The northern part of Elizabeth West was combined with Elizabeth Field to create the new suburb of Davoren Park in 1993. The remainder of Elizabeth West was combined with some land on its west removed from Penfield to create the new suburb of Edinburgh North on 27 October 2011.The part north of Womma Road was predominantly residential, the area south of Womma Road which is now in Edinburgh North was predominantly industrial. It was served by the Womma and Broadmeadows stations on the Gawler railway line.

The City of Playford is a local government area of South Australia in Adelaide's northern suburbs. The name 'Playford' comes from the recognition of Sir Thomas Playford, who played a part in the development of the area, and was South Australia's premier from 1938–1965. Playford International College (formerly known as Fremont-Elizabeth City High School) is a high school in Elizabeth, a northern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It’s an amalgamation of three secondary schools in Elizabeth. Playford offers general secondary education with elite programs in music. It is one among the four Special Interest Music Centres, with those at the then "Fremont High School" set up in 1978, Brighton Secondary School and Marryatville High Schools set up in 1976, and Woodville High School in 1977, covering four distinct geographical areas of Adelaide. It is also one of thirteen Engineering Pathways Schools in South Australia.

The National Military Vehicle Museum, is an automobile museum in Edinburgh, South Australia, established in 1993. The museum is housed in a group of historic WW2-era buildings within the Defence precinct of Edinburgh Parks and is run by the Military Vehicle Preservation Society of South Australia (MVPSSA). The museum is quite unique in the sense that a large portion of the collection's vehicles are privately owned by the members of the MVPSSA, and the majority of those are maintained in running condition and are regularly used in support of events such as the Anazc Day march, Clipsal 500 and Christmas pageants. Vehicles range from horse-drawn equipment from WWI through to modern military vehicles. The collection has a special focus on vehicles associated with South Australia's military history and includes vehicles built in Adelaide by General Motors Holden and the Islington Railway Workshops.

The Elizabeth Shopping Centre or Elizabeth City Centre is a large regional shopping centre located in the outer Adelaide suburb of Elizabeth, South Australia The centre is the fourth biggest in Adelaide, behind Colonnades Shopping Centre, Westfield Tea Tree Plaza, and Westfield Marion.
