The Richard Wickes Greene House is an historic house in Warwick, Rhode Island. The 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame house was built in 1849, and is an excellent local example of Georgian style. Richard Wickes Greene was a ship's captain who acquired the property from the Wickes family in 1826.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Aldrich Mansion is a late 19th-century property owned by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence since 1939. It is located by the scenic Narragansett Bay at 836 Warwick Neck Avenue in Warwick, Rhode Island, south of Providence, Rhode Island. Originally called Indian Oaks, and once the Senator Nelson W. Aldrich Estate. The extensive estate was developed in 1899 by Nelson W. Aldrich (1841–1915), a Republican Party politician who dominated state politics of the period. The main estate house is a sprawling stone French Renaissance structure with lavish interior decoration. The estate's surviving outbuildings include a boathouse and a caretaker's house, the latter located across Warwick Neck Avenue from the main estate. Aldrich's heirs sold the property to the Roman Catholic church in 1939, and it was adapted for use as a seminary. The property now known as "The Aldrich Mansion" still belongs to the Diocese of Providence, and is now available as a site for weddings, formal occasions, business conferences, etc. It is also occasionally used for film and television productions. The estate was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Rocky Point Park was an amusement park on the Narragansett Bay shore of Warwick, Rhode Island. It operated from the late 1840s until it closed in 1995. In 1996, the park officially filed for bankruptcy.

Rocky Point State Park is a passive use state park on Narragansett Bay in Warwick, Rhode Island. The land has been a public attraction since the mid-1800s, most notably as Rocky Point Amusement Park. When the amusement park closed in 1994, it sat abandoned for years until the city and state purchased the land in stages between 2008–2013. It reopened to the public as a state park in October 2014.

Oakland Beach is a neighborhood and beach located in the South Central area of Warwick, Rhode Island, on Greenwich Bay, a tributary of Narragansett Bay. In the late 1800s, Oakland Beach was the site of the camp ground for the six day annual training encampment of the Rhode Island Militia. Around 1895 the encampment was moved to a larger and better equipped facility at Quonset Point. This densely populated community of small cottages was developed after World War I as a summer colony, largely for nearby Providence's middle-class Irish, Greek and Italian communities. Oakland Beach reached its heyday in the 1930s when it boasted a bathing beach, boat docks and restaurants, as well as a Ferris wheel, and rail service to Providence and other nearby summer colonies. Popular local attractions included an arcade, carousel (merry go round) movie theater, bowling alley and dodgem cars, it also housed a skating rink run by the same people who ran the oldest family run skating rink in the country which replaced the one in Oakland Beach after the 1930s New England Hurricane. The New England Hurricane of 1938, however, destroyed much of Oakland Beach. The area never quite recovered, and Hurricane Carol in 1954 added to the area's destruction. Over the years, Oakland Beach has become a destination where people come to attend the many activities on the green, park by the sea wall to enjoy the beautiful vista of Greenwich Bay, kayak the scenic coves, stroll the shoreline and dine at the restaurants. The most notable being Iggy's Doughboys and Chowderhouse, Iggy's Boardwalk and also Top of the Bay (which used to be the Governor's residence). New to the area is The Beach Cafe and Pub. In the late 1980s a novelty song called Born in Oakland Beach was made which used the tune of Bruce Springsteen's Born in the USA. It was played on local radio stations and referenced local landmarks like Veterans Memorial High School and Rocky Point.

The District Four School is an historic school at 1515 West Shore Road in Warwick, Rhode Island, United States. The 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame building was designed by William R. Walker of Providence, and built in 1886. It is the oldest surviving school building in the city. It was used as a public school until c. 1940, and was either vacant or occupied by social service agencies in the following decades. It has been converted to residential use. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Cranston High School East, often called East, Cranston East, or abbreviated as CHSE, is a comprehensive high school located in the central part of Cranston, Rhode Island, with over 1,500 students in grades 9-12 and 150+ faculty members. The school mascot is the Thunderbolt, and its colors are green and white. Cranston High School East is housed in two buildings, the main building at 899 Park Avenue and the William A. Briggs Building located at 845 Park Avenue, which is where the school was originally housed. The Briggs building is home to the administrative offices of Cranston Public Schools and also served as a Junior High School in the early part of the 20th century. Cranston East was the first high school in Cranston; before Cranston West opened in 1958, the school was called simply Cranston High.

The Moses Greene House is an historic house in Warwick, Rhode Island. It is a 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame house with a large central chimney, and a rear ell. The main block was built c. 1750, and is one of Warwick's few surviving 18th-century houses. It is located on one of the first sites to be occupied by European settlers in Warwick, near one of its first sawmills. In 1750, Moses Greene built his home where Buckeye Brook meets Mill Cove. The home may have served a role in the Underground Railroad—a secret cellar room is accessed by a stone wall that slides aside on iron tracks. The room may have also been used by rum smugglers. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Peter Greene House is a historic house in Warwick, Rhode Island, USA. The 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame house was built around 1751, probably by the sons of a militia captain named Peter Greene, and is a rare surviving 18th-century house in Warwick. It has a five-bay facade with a plain door surround, a central chimney, and a rear ell.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Buttonwood Beach Historic District is a historic district bounded by Brush Neck Cove, Greenwich Bay, Cooper and Promenade Avenues in Warwick, Rhode Island. Buttonwood Beach is a bucolic neighborhood on the eastern limb of the Nausauket neck, located in the West Bay area of Warwick, Rhode Island. Buttonwoods is delimited by Nausauket and Apponaug to the west, Buttonwoods Cove to the north, Greenwich (aka Cowesett) Bay to the south and Oakland Beach to the east. Buttonwood Beach was founded as a summer colony in 1871 by the Rev. Moses Bixby of Providence's Cranston Street Baptist Church, who was looking for a place to establish a summer colony by the shore for his congregation. He envisioned a community that would be similar to Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard, where the Methodists established a summer campground in 1835. Today, this coastal neighborhood on Greenwich Bay is home to people from many different religious backgrounds. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
