Zörbig (German pronunciation: [ˈtsœʁbɪç]) is a town in the district of Anhalt-Bitterfeld in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is situated approximately 15 km west of Bitterfeld, and 20 km northeast of Halle (Saale). Zörbig is well known for its molasses made from sugar beets.

It was formed on 1 January 2010 by the merger of the former municipalities Edderitz, Fraßdorf, Glauzig, Großbadegast, Hinsdorf, Libehna, Maasdorf, Meilendorf, Prosigk, Quellendorf, Radegast, Reupzig, Riesdorf, Scheuder, Trebbichau an der Fuhne, Weißandt-Gölzau, Wieskau and Zehbitz. On 1 September 2010 the former municipalities Gröbzig, Görzig and Piethen joined the town.

Johann Friedrich Naumann (14 February 1780 – 15 August 1857) was a German scientist, engraver, and editor. He is regarded as the founder of scientific ornithology in Europe. He published The Natural History of German Birds (1820–1844) and The Eggs of German Birds (1818–1828). His father Johann Andreas Naumann (1744–1826) was a naturalist, and his brother Carl Andreas Naumann (1786–1854) was also an ornithologist. The German ornithological society named its journal Naumannia. The lesser kestrel (Falco naumanni) is also named for him.

Prosigk is located 58.6 km away from the closest city of Leipzig, and 152 km away from its capital city in Berlin. It has an industrial and agricultural based economy and since 1 January 2010, has been incorporated into the town of Südliches Anhalt. The village runs its own museum for the history of its fire brigade and several other services.
