Drábské světničky is a ruin of a 13th-century rock castle in the Czech Republic. It is located about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) northeast of Mnichovo Hradiště on the ragged edge of a sandstone cliff high above surrounding landscape. The castle covers a group of seven sandstone rocks, connected with wooden bridges. It has been abandoned since the Hussite wars in the 15th century.

Svijany Brewery

Svijany Brewery (Czech pronunciation: [ˈsvɪjanɪ]) is a brewery in Svijany in the Czech Republic. Established in 1564, it is one of the oldest Czech breweries. The brewery produces an extensive range of unpasteurised lagers, mostly light in color and ranging in strength between 3.2% and 6.5% ABV. In common with the breweries in Náchod and Rohozec, Svijany is owned by the Liberec Investment Fund.

Battle of Podol

The Battle of Podol was a minor engagement in the opening days of the Königgrätz campaign of the Austro-Prussian War in Bohemia on 26 and 27 June 1866. The battle took place in modern-day Svijany between troops of the Prussian First Army (Julius von Bose's 15th Brigade) and elements of Eduard Clam-Gallas' Austrian I Corps.
