Tongji University

Tongji University (simplified Chinese: 同济大学; traditional Chinese: 同濟大學; pinyin: Tóngjì Dàxué), is a station on Line 10 of the Shanghai Metro. It began operation on April 10, 2010. It is named after the nearby Tongji University.

Fushun Road (Chinese: 抚顺路) is a station on Line 18 of the Shanghai Metro. Located at the intersection of North No. 2 Zhongshan Road and Jiangpu Road in Yangpu District, Shanghai, the station is open with the rest of phase one of Line 18 in 30 December 2021. The station is named after Fushun Road, which intersects Jiangpu Road one block to the south of the station.

Jiangpu Road (Chinese: 江浦路; pinyin: Jiāngpǔ Lù) is the name of a station on Shanghai Metro Line 8. It began operation on December 29, 2007. It later became an interchange station after the opening of Line 18 on 30 December 2021.

Guoquan Road (simplified Chinese: 国权路; traditional Chinese: 國權路; pinyin: Guóquán Lù), is a station on Line 10 of the Shanghai Metro. It began operation on April 10, 2010. It is located at the intersection of Siping Road and Guoquan Road. It became an interchange station with Line 18 when the line opened on December 30, 2021.

Siping Road (Chinese: 四平路; pinyin: Sìpíng Lù) is an interchange station between Lines 8 and 10 on the Shanghai Metro. It began operation on December 29, 2007. It became an interchange with Line 10 when it opened on April 10, 2010. The station is located on the boundary between Yangpu District and Hongkou District in Shanghai.

Xinhua Hospital (simplified Chinese: 新华医院; traditional Chinese: 新華醫院; pinyin: Xīnhuá Yīyuàn) is a general hospital in Shanghai, China, with the rank of "Grade 3, Class A (三级甲等)". The hospital was established in 1958. It is a university hospital affiliated with School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Xinhua Hospital is noted for its pediatrics, and is home to the Shanghai Institute for Pediatric Research. It is one of the few hospitals in China able to perform cardiac surgery on newborns, including transposition of great vessels. In 1998, the hospital helped to establish Shanghai Children's Medical Center with support from Project HOPE (Health Opportunities for People Everywhere).

The Nordic Centre in Shanghai at Fudan University (复旦大学北欧中心) was officially opened on November 8, 1995 by the Norwegian Prime Minister Gro Harlem Brundtland and Professor Yang Fujia, President of Fudan University. The Nordic Centre was then a joint project between Fudan University and 14 Nordic universities. Today the Centre has 26 member universities representing the five Nordic countries and one associate member. The Nordic Centre is the only joint Nordic academic institution set up in China.

Huangxing Road (simplified Chinese: 黄兴路; traditional Chinese: 黃興路; pinyin: Huángxīng Lù) is a station on Shanghai Metro Line 8. It began operation on December 29, 2007.

The Shanghai Ghetto, formally known as the Restricted Sector for Stateless Refugees, was an area of approximately one square mile in the Hongkew district of Japanese-occupied Shanghai (the ghetto was located in the southern Hongkou and southwestern Yangpu districts which formed part of the Shanghai International Settlement). The area included the community around the Ohel Moshe Synagogue. Shanghai was notable for a long period as the only place in the world that unconditionally offered refuge for Jews escaping from the Nazis. After the Japanese occupied all of Shanghai in 1941, the Japanese army forced about 23,000 of the city's Jewish refugees to be restricted or relocated to the Shanghai Ghetto from 1941 to 1945 by the Proclamation Concerning Restriction of Residence and Business of Stateless Refugees. It was one of the poorest and most crowded areas of the city. Local Jewish families and American Jewish charities aided them with shelter, food, and clothing. The Japanese authorities increasingly stepped up restrictions, surrounded the ghetto with barbed wire, and the local Chinese residents, whose living conditions were often as bad, did not leave. By 21 August 1941, the Japanese government closed Shanghai to Jewish immigration.

Fudan University (simplified Chinese: 复旦大学; traditional Chinese: 復旦大學) is a national public research university in Shanghai, China. Fudan is a member of the C9 League, Project 985, Project 211, and the Double First Class University identified by the Ministry of Education of China. It is also a member of Universitas 21, Washington University's McDonnell International Scholars Academy, and the Association of Pacific Rim Universities, BRICS Universities League, Association of East Asian Research Universities, and Council on Business & Society.Fudan is a collegiate university with five colleges – Zhide (志德), Tengfei (腾飞), Keqing (克卿), Renzhong (任重), and Xide (希德). Wujiaochang (simplified Chinese: 五角场; traditional Chinese: 五角場; pinyin: Wǔjiǎochǎng) is a station on Line 10 of the Shanghai Metro. It is located on Siping Road just south of the Wujiaochang roundabout in the city's Yangpu District. The station began operation on April 10, 2010.
