Tongji University (simplified Chinese: 同济大学; traditional Chinese: 同濟大學; pinyin: Tóngjì Dàxué) is a comprehensive research university located in Shanghai. Established in 1907 by the German government together with German physicians in Shanghai, Tongji is one of the longest-standing, most selective, and most prestigious universities in China under the Project 985 and Double First Class University Plan. It is a Chinese state Class A Double First Class University.Tongji University is renowned for its engineering, architecture and business programs. The university possesses a faculty of more than 2,803 scholars, including 27 members from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Currently, Tongji University owns 29 colleges, 8 affiliated hospitals, and 6 affiliated primary and secondary schools. As of 2021, Tongji University is ranked among the top 1% of universities in the world. The U.S. News & World Report Best Global University Ranking ranks Tongji University at 15th worldwide in engineering. The College of Civil Engineering is considered the best in the world according to several widely cited international rankings, including Shanghai Ranking, U.S. News Rankings, URAP ranking and NTU Ranking. Tongji's architecture program is also considered to be among the best in the world, ranking 13th globally in the 2021 QS World University Rankings and the top overall architecture program in China according to China's University and College Admission System (CACUS). The School of Design and Innovation was ranked 12th among art and design schools worldwide in 2022, and the top in Asia, according to the QS. The School of Economics and Management (Tongji SEM) is one of 74 business schools in the world being triple accredited by the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the Association of MBAs (AMBA). Tongji University is a member of the Yangtze Delta Universities Alliance and Asian-European Laotse Universities Network. According to the 2022 QS World University Rankings, Tongji University ranked 8th nationally.

Guoquan Road (simplified Chinese: 国权路; traditional Chinese: 國權路; pinyin: Guóquán Lù), is a station on Line 10 of the Shanghai Metro. It began operation on April 10, 2010. It is located at the intersection of Siping Road and Guoquan Road. It became an interchange station with Line 18 when the line opened on December 30, 2021.

Fushun Road (Chinese: 抚顺路) is a station on Line 18 of the Shanghai Metro. Located at the intersection of North No. 2 Zhongshan Road and Jiangpu Road in Yangpu District, Shanghai, the station is open with the rest of phase one of Line 18 in 30 December 2021. The station is named after Fushun Road, which intersects Jiangpu Road one block to the south of the station.

Siping Road (Chinese: 四平路; pinyin: Sìpíng Lù) is an interchange station between Lines 8 and 10 on the Shanghai Metro. It began operation on December 29, 2007. It became an interchange with Line 10 when it opened on April 10, 2010. The station is located on the boundary between Yangpu District and Hongkou District in Shanghai.

Anshan Xincun (Chinese: 鞍山新村; pinyin: Ānshān Xīncūn) is a station on Shanghai Metro Line 8. It began operation on December 29, 2007.

The Nordic Centre in Shanghai at Fudan University (复旦大学北欧中心) was officially opened on November 8, 1995 by the Norwegian Prime Minister Gro Harlem Brundtland and Professor Yang Fujia, President of Fudan University. The Nordic Centre was then a joint project between Fudan University and 14 Nordic universities. Today the Centre has 26 member universities representing the five Nordic countries and one associate member. The Nordic Centre is the only joint Nordic academic institution set up in China.

Located west of the intersection of Handan Road and Guoquan Road in Yangpu District, Shanghai, the station is located on the western edge of the Handan campus of Fudan University, the main campus of the university. It opened with the rest of phase one of Line 18 on December 30, 2021.

Xinhua Hospital (simplified Chinese: 新华医院; traditional Chinese: 新華醫院; pinyin: Xīnhuá Yīyuàn) is a general hospital in Shanghai, China, with the rank of "Grade 3, Class A (三级甲等)". The hospital was established in 1958. It is a university hospital affiliated with School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Xinhua Hospital is noted for its pediatrics, and is home to the Shanghai Institute for Pediatric Research. It is one of the few hospitals in China able to perform cardiac surgery on newborns, including transposition of great vessels. In 1998, the hospital helped to establish Shanghai Children's Medical Center with support from Project HOPE (Health Opportunities for People Everywhere).

Wujiaochang (simplified Chinese: 五角场; traditional Chinese: 五角場; pinyin: Wǔjiǎochǎng) is a station on Line 10 of the Shanghai Metro. It is located on Siping Road just south of the Wujiaochang roundabout in the city's Yangpu District. The station began operation on April 10, 2010.
