Borgenhaugen is a borough in the city of Sarpsborg, Norway, located east of the city centre. Before 1992, Borgenhaugen was a part of Skjeberg municipality. The old Skjeberg council hall (rådhus) is located here. [1]

Kampenes Station (Norwegian: Kampenes holdeplass) was a railway station on the Eastern Østfold Line located at Kampenes in Sarpsborg, Norway. Situated 75.20 kilometers (46.73 mi) from Oslo Central Station (Oslo S), it featured a simple platform. The station was located next to a large park and ride facility. The station was opened on 19 May 1990 and was only used that year. It was only served during sporting events with shuttle trains operating to Rudskogen Motorsenter Station which served the motorsport venue Rudskogen.

Sandbakken is an urban settlement in Sarpsborg municipality, Norway. Sandbakken located on Klavestadhaugen, a few kilometers southeast of the Sarpsborg city centre. Before municipal amalgamation in 1992, Sandbakken belonged to Skjeberg municipality.

Hafslund is a borough located east of the city centre in the city of Sarpsborg, Norway, Before 1992, Hafslund was a part of Skjeberg municipality. The name Hafslund, which is composed of Hafr, the Old Norse name for husband and lundr meaning grove. There has been a permanent settlement at Hafslund for over 5000 years.

Sarp Bridge (Norwegian: Sarpsbrua or Sarpebrua) is a series of bridges which span across Sarpefossen, a waterfall of the river Glomma in Sarpsborg, Norway. In the current arrangement, one bridge carries a pathway, one carries a single track of the Østfold Line and one carries two lanes of National Road 118. The road and pathway bridges are about 91 meters (299 ft) long, while the railway bridge is 247 meters (810 ft). The first bridge at the site was a brick suspension bridge opened on 25 February 1854. It was rebuilt as a multilayer bridge and opened with rail tracks on an upper truss level on 2 January 1879. In order to strengthen the railway, a new steel truss railway bridge opened on 9 May 1931. The former bridge was then rebuilt as a wider road bridge. An accident on 15 April 1940 caused the fire department to blow away one of the pillars, collapsing the superstructure. A new road bridge was completed in 1943. The two were supplemented with a separate pathway bridge in 1977. There are plans to replace the existing bridges with a four-land road and three-track railway bridge, scheduled for no later than 2030.

Sarp Falls (Norwegian: Sarpefossen or Sarpsfossen) is a waterfall at Sarpsborg in Viken, Norway. It is the second largest waterfall in Europe by discharge, after the Rhine Falls. This is the last waterfall on the Glomma River, which is the longest river in Norway. Sarp Falls has one of the greatest flows of any waterfall in Europe. Both Rhine Falls and Dettifoss are larger and more powerful waterfalls in Europe but, while those waterfalls have between 200 and 500 m3/s (7,100 and 17,700 cu ft/s) of average water flow, Sarp Falls has approximately 577 m3/s (20,400 cu ft/s). Just above Sarp Falls is a road bridge with a vista point. There are also vista points on the east side of the falls.

Skjeberg is a district of Sarpsborg, Østfold County, Norway. Skjeberg was formerly a municipality in Østfold County. The last administrative centre was at Borgenhaugen. As of 2018, Skjeberg has a population of 1,397.The parish of Skjeberg was established as a municipality on January 1, 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). The property, Hagelund, with 8 inhabitants was moved to the Halden municipality on January 1, 1968. The rural municipality of Skjeberg was (together with Tune and Varteig) merged with the city of Sarpsborg January 1, 1992. Prior to the merger, Skjeberg had a population of 14,295.

The Borgarsyssel Museum is a museum located at Sarpsborg in Østfold county, Norway. The museum was named after Borgarsysla, the Old Norse name of Østfold county.It was founded in 1921 and documents Østfold's cultural history from the Middle Ages. The open-air collection includes about twenty historic buildings. It is located at the site of the ruins of the Medieval St. Nicholas's Church, which was built during the reign of King Øystein (1103–1123). Olaf's Chapel was built at the Borgarsyssel Museum as an exhibition hall for the Saint Olaf Jubilee (Olavsjubileet) in 1930.Since 1947, the Borgarsyssel Museum has been the main county museum of Østfold. Since 1 January 2006 it has been a part of the Østfold Museum (Østfoldmuseet), which coordinates all museums in the county.

Hasle is a village in the municipality of Sarpsborg, Norway, located on the eastern bank of Glomma. Its population is 698. Before 1992 Hasle was a part of Varteig municipality.
