Most (Czech pronunciation: [most]; German: Brüx) is a city in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 63,000 inhabitants. Most is an industrial city with a long tradition of lignite mining. Due to mining, the historic city was demolished and replaced by a planned city. In locations where mining has ended, Most is an example of successful landscape revitalization.
