Dobson Ranch, Mesa

Dobson High School is a public high school located in Mesa, Arizona, United States. It is one of six high schools in Mesa Public Schools and serves grades 9-12. Rhodes and Summit Academy feed students into Dobson. The school's mascot is a Mustang and the school colors are royal blue and silver. Opened in 1981, Dobson sits on 84 acres (340,000 m2) of public land. The school is named after the Dobson family, who moved to the area in 1886 and established a large ranch which includes the land where the school is now located.In the 1986-87 school year, it was honored as a Blue Ribbon school.In 2009, President Barack Obama made a speech at the school, announcing a mortgage relief plan.Two episodes of MTV's Made have been filmed on campus. The current principal is Gabrielle Buckley (herself a graduate of Dobson, class of 1995.) Three assistant principals, Renee Regoli, Christina Sweador, and Jacob Fendley, comprise the rest of the administration.

Mesa Community College (MCC) is a public community college in Mesa, Arizona. It is the largest of the 10 community colleges in the Maricopa County Community College District, the largest community college district in the United States in terms of enrollment.

Banner Desert Medical Center, formerly Desert Samaritan Medical Center, or “Desert Sam," is a 615-bed non-profit, short-term acute care hospital located in Mesa, Arizona (southeast suburban Phoenix) adjacent to the border with Tempe, providing tertiary care and healthcare services to the East Valley portion of the greater Phoenix area (along with its sister facilities, Banner Baywood Medical Center/Banner Heart Hospital, located on the east side of Mesa, and Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert). It is designated by the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) as a Level I trauma center. It is part of the locally based, regional Banner Health system of non-profit hospitals and clinics.

Fiesta Mall is a former shopping mall in Mesa, Arizona, United States. Opened in 1979 after nine years of development, it was built by Homart Development Company, the former shopping mall development division of the department store Sears. Sears was the first anchor store to open in the mall, doing so in 1977. Also present as anchor stores were The Broadway and Goldwater's, with Diamond's following in 1980. The mall began experiencing declines in traffic following the opening of Arizona Mills in 1997, and saw numerous anchor store and inline tenancy changes. After a long period of decline, it was shuttered in January 2018.

James Madison Preparatory School (abbreviated as JMPS) is a charter school started in 2000 in Tempe, Arizona. The school was co-founded by brothers Stephen Batchelder and David Batchelder and serves grades 6-12.

The East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) is a public school district serving the eastern portion of the Phoenix, Arizona metro area. It is a joint technological education district with programs are available to students at the member high schools. EVIT serves 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students from the sending districts that meet class prerequisites.

The Arizona State University Research Park is a business and recreational park that is operated by Arizona State University. Located in the city of Tempe, Arizona, United States; the park sits on eastern half of the square mile bordered on the north by East Elliot Road, on the east by the Arizona State Highway: Route Loop 101 Price Freeway, on the south by East Warner Road, and the west by South McClintock Drive. Chuck Backus, formerly vice president and provost of ASU's East Campus, was elected as the President of the ASU Research Park in spring 2005. Amazon has multiple offices in the Research Park including Amazon AZA1 (8375 S River Pkwy) and Amazon AZA10 (8600 S Science Dr).

Sycamore/Main Street, also known as The Asian District, is a station on the Valley Metro Rail line in Mesa, Arizona, United States. The station is located one block east of the intersection of Dobson Road and Main Street, in front of the former Tri City Mall. It was the original eastern terminus for Valley Metro Rail when the line opened in 2008. Adjacent to Mekong Plaza and other East Asian businesses, it serves as an access point to Mesa's Asian district. A large park and ride lot is located adjacent to the station's bus terminal on the north side of Main Street.

Sonoran University of Health Sciences, formerly Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, is a private naturopathic medical school in Tempe, Arizona. Founded in 1993, Sonoran University is one of seven accredited naturopathic medical schools in North America.

McClintock High School is a high school located in Tempe, Arizona, approximately two miles southeast of the campus of Arizona State University. McClintock High School was established in 1964. The school was named after James H. McClintock.McClintock has approximately 1,900 students and offers a wide variety of curriculum, which includes honors, advanced placement, dual credit, and the Peggy Payne Academy for gifted students. The school also has state-recognized ELL and Special Education programs. McClintock is an open enrollment campus. The campus was designed in 1964 by local architect Kemper Goodwin.Artist Ka Graves served as artist-in-residence at McClintock High School in 1979 and 1980.

Tri-City Pavilions, formerly Tri-City Mall, is a shopping mall in Mesa, Arizona, United States. It was developed in 1968 as an enclosed shopping mall featuring Diamond's and JCPenney as the anchor stores. The mall underwent a period of decline following the opening of Fiesta Mall in 1979, particularly after Diamond's consolidated with its store in that mall in 1984. Despite a mall-wide renovation completed in 1985 and the addition of new tenants such as ZCMI and Bealls, Tri-City Mall continued to diminish throughout the 1990s, with JCPenney closing in 1998. The mall was demolished in 1999 in favor of a strip mall anchored by Safeway Inc., although the former JCPenney building remained until 2006. Tri-City Pavilions is owned and managed by Lamar Companies.
