Wyler Aerial Tramway is an aerial tramway in El Paso, Texas, United States. The tramway is operated by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and is located in Franklin Mountains State Park. The tramway complex covers 196 acres (0.79 km2) on the east side of the Franklin Mountains. The gondolas travel along two 2600 foot 1 3/8" diameter steel cables to Ranger Peak, 5,632 feet (1,717 m) above sea level. The trip takes about four minutes and lifts riders up 940 vertical feet above the boarding area. From Ranger Peak you can see three states and two countries on a clear day. The tramway was closed indefinitely to the public in September 2018.

The signal extends north to Las Cruces, New Mexico and south through Ciudad Juárez and the Mexican state of Chihuahua.

KHEY-FM (96.3 MHz) is a commercial radio station in El Paso, Texas. It airs a country music radio format and is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. The station carries the syndicated Bobby Bones Show on Monday through Saturday mornings, and After Midnight with Granger Smith overnight. The rest of the weekday schedule features local DJs. The studios and offices are on North Mesa Street (Texas State Highway 20) in West Central El Paso. KHEY-FM has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 88,000 watts (100,000 with beam tilt). The transmitter is off Scenic Drive in the Franklin Mountains in El Paso. The signal covers parts of Texas, New Mexico and the Mexican state of Chihuahua, including Ciudad Juárez. KHEY-FM broadcasts in the HD Radio hybrid format; the HD2 subchannel carries a 24 hour replay of Bobby Bones Country Top 30.

KINT-FM (93.9 FM) is a radio station in El Paso, Texas, also serving Las Cruces, New Mexico and widely heard over the U.S.-Mexican border in Ciudad Juarez and surrounding communities. The station is currently owned by Entravision Communications. The station airs a radio format called "La Suavecita" It features Regional Mexican adult hits. KINT-FM's studio facilities are located on North Mesa Street (Texas State Highway 20) in northwest El Paso, and its transmitter is located atop the Franklin Mountains in the El Paso city limits. AM 1650 KSVE has at times simulcast KINT-FM.

KSII (93.1 FM, "93.1 KISS-FM") is a radio station that serves the El Paso, Texas, area with hot adult contemporary music. It is under ownership of Townsquare Media. Its studios are located on North Mesa Street in northwest El Paso and its transmitter is located in the Franklin Mountains.

KPRR (102.1 FM "Power 102 FM"), is a commercial radio station in El Paso, Texas. The station is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. and airs a rhythmic contemporary radio format. It offers a more broad-based direction in its playlist than most other rhythmic stations, with a mix of R&B/Hip-Hop, Dance, Hurban and Rhythmic Pop fare. KPRR has its studios and offices on North Mesa Street (Texas State Highway 20).KPRR broadcasts from a transmitter in the Franklin Mountains. Its signal covers parts of Texas, New Mexico and the Mexican state of Chihuahua, including Ciudad Juárez. KPRR's studios are located along Mesa Drive in West Central El Paso. KPRR is one of two contemporary hit stations in the El Paso-Juárez radio market, with 104.3 XHTO-FM as the other. KPRR broadcasts in the HD Radio format. Its HD2 signal carries a Rhythmic Oldies/Classic Hip Hop radio format known as "Hot 93.5." It is also heard on 99 watt FM translator K228FH at 93.5 MHz.

KVER (branded as "Radio Manantial") is an FM Spanish language religious radio station that serves the El Paso, Texas, area. It is owned by the World Radio Network.

The Star on the Mountain is a man-made star-shaped landmark on the Franklin Mountains in El Paso, Texas, that is illuminated nightly by the El Paso Chamber of Commerce. It was first lit as a Christmas decoration in 1940 and was meant as a reminder to people on both sides of the nearby Mexico–United States border that America was at peace during the holiday season. It has also been compared to the similar Roanoke Star in Virginia. The five-point star consists of 459 bulbs and is visible from the air at up to 100 miles (160 km) away. It was previously only lit during the holiday season but is now maintained year-round by the Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce and the El Paso Electric Company.

Kiki's Mexican Restaurant and Bar is located in El Paso, Texas and serves Mexican food. The restaurant was founded in 1976 and is known for their machaca, enchiladas, and mole. Kiki's has made the national list of Hispanic's 50 Best Hispanic restaurants several years in a row and was featured on The Best Thing I Ever Ate.

McKelligon Canyon is the location of a 1,503-seat amphitheater located in El Paso, Texas, United States, where the play Viva El Paso! is presented. The amphitheater is also used for concerts, graduation ceremonies, and other special events. Adjacent is the 300-seat McKelligon Canyon Pavilion.

William Beaumont Army Medical Center is a Department of Defense medical facility located in Fort Bliss, Texas. It provides comprehensive care to all beneficiaries including active duty military, their family members, and retirees. The hospital is located in the Central/Northeastern part of El Paso, and provides emergency department services for Northeast El Paso. The current 1.1-million-square-foot, 6-building medical complex opened July 10, 2021 on East Fort Bliss. WBAMC is affiliated with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine which is also located in El Paso, Texas. WBAMC is also a participating hospital for medical residents from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) and nursing students from the University of Texas at El Paso School of Nursing and the El Paso Community College Nursing School. The current commander of WBAMC is Colonel Brett Venable.

Kern Place is a historic neighborhood on the West side of El Paso, Texas. The neighborhood lies just east of the University of Texas at El Paso, and north of downtown. Kern is part of District 1 in the City of El Paso and currently represented by Peter Svarzbein. The neighborhood was created by Peter E. Kern, and once had an unusual gate marking the entrance. Madeline Park in the center of the neighborhood is named after Kern's daughter. Businesses and a small entertainment district border the eclectic housing featured in the neighborhood.
