Marvel Gymnasium was a 3,000-seat multipurpose gymnasium in Providence, Rhode Island. It was home to the Brown University Bears basketball team as well as other teams. The gymnasium included a basketball court and seating, a second-floor running track, squash and handball courts, a wrestling room, a boxing room, and a fencing room.

The Blackstone Boulevard–Cole Avenue–Grotto Avenue Historic District is a predominantly residential historic district roughly bounded by Blackstone Boulevard, Cole Avenue, Grotto Avenue, President and Rochambeau Avenues on the east side of Providence, Rhode Island. It encompasses one of the last areas of the city be developed residentially. Covering about 100 acres (40 ha), most of its building stock was built between about 1889 and the 1940s, with a notable building spurt taking place in the 1920s. The architecture in the area is heterogeneous, with Colonial and Georgian Revival styles predominating. The area was developed after the city built Blackstone Boulevard with the intention of developing the area into a streetcar suburb.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

The Freeman Plat Historic District is a residential historic district on the East Side of Providence, Rhode Island. The district is a well-preserved example of an early-20th-century planned residential area, encompassing some 50 acres (20 ha). It is roughly bounded by Sessions Street, Morris Avenue, Laurel Avenue, and Wayland Avenue, and consists of a network of generously-landscaped winding roads, laid out in consultation with the Olmsted Brothers design firm. The houses built are generally of high quality, many of them architect-designed, with architecturally diverse revival styles popular at the time. The area was developed between 1916 and 1929 by John Freeman, who owned a country estate in the area, and sought a way to develop the largely swampy tract.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

Providence Hebrew Day School (commonly referred to as "PHDS") is the oldest Jewish day school in Rhode Island, United States. The school was founded in 1946, and moved to its current location on Elmgrove Avenue on Providence's East Side in 1962. The current dean of PHDS is Rabbi Peretz Scheinerman. The famed Rabbi Mordechai Nissel was its dean from March 97 through July 2003

Richard Gouse Field at Brown Stadium is a football stadium located in Providence, Rhode Island. It is the home of Brown University's football and outdoor track teams. The athletic teams at Brown University, known as the Bears, compete in the Ivy League. Brown was the last Ivy stadium with a grass playing field until the installation of a FieldTurf surface in 2021. The field is named for Richard I. Gouse '68, the primary donor of the turf field.

Blackstone Boulevard Park is a public park and footpath that runs down the center of Blackstone Boulevard on the East Side of Providence, Rhode Island. It is located in the Blackstone neighborhood, an affluent and primarily residential part of Providence. The park is well-used by joggers and dog walkers from the East Side of Providence and surrounding areas. Along with the Blackstone Park Conservation District, it is run in partnership between the non-profit Blackstone Parks Conservancy and the Providence Parks Department. The Conservancy actively maintains the condition of the park and path, as well as planting and caring for the trees and other flora along the path. Blackstone Boulevard is also a part of the National Register of Historic Places, at the boundary of the Blackstone Park Historic District and Blackstone Boulevard Realty Plat Historic District.

The Blackstone Boulevard Realty Plat Historic District is a historic district roughly bounded by Blackstone Blvd., Rochambeau Ave., Holly St. and Elmgrove Ave. in Providence, Rhode Island.The district features architecture by Marshall B. Martin, William T. Aldrich and other structures of late 19th- and 20th-century colonial revivals. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

The Elmgrove Gardens Historic District is a residential historic district in northeastern Providence, Rhode Island, United States. It is bounded on the north by Rochambeau Street, on the south by Woodbury Street, on the east by Cole Street, and on the west by Morris Avenue. This area was developed most heavily between 1908 and 1948, and is a well-preserved example of an early automotive suburban residential area. Most of the houses in the district are either 1-1/2 or 2-1/2 stories in height, and are built in an architecturally diverse variety of styles. The district also includes to 18th-century farmhouses (at 287 and 317 Rochambeau), reminders of the area's agrarian past.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

The East Side is a collection of neighborhoods in the eastern part of the city of Providence, Rhode Island. It officially comprises the neighborhoods of Blackstone, Hope (commonly known as Summit), Mount Hope, College Hill, Wayland, and Fox Point. The area is separated from East Providence, Rhode Island, to the east by the Seekonk River. To the west it is separated from the rest of Providence by the Providence River and Interstate 95. To the north, it borders Pawtucket, Rhode Island. To the south, it abuts Narragansett Bay, which is formed by the confluence of the Seekonk and Providence Rivers. Roger Williams founded Providence along College Hill. This area thus includes some of the oldest sections of the city. The spot where Williams landed after crossing the Seekonk River is marked by a small park in Fox Point.

Butler Hospital is a private, non-profit, psychiatric and substance abuse hospital for adolescents, adults, and seniors, located at 345 Blackstone Boulevard in Providence, Rhode Island. The hospital is affiliated with the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, and is the flagship for Brown University's renowned department of psychiatry. Butler Hospital was a founding member, along with Women & Infants Hospital and Kent Hospital, of the Care New England health system in 1996.

The Morris Brown House is a historic house located in Providence, Rhode Island. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on August 22, 1991.

St. Martin's Church is a historic Episcopal Church (United States) church at 50 Orchard Avenue in Providence, Rhode Island. It is located next door to Temple Beth-El, a Reform Synagogue. The congregation was established in 1885 and the Gothic Revival church building was constructed in 1917 to a design by Clarke & Howe to replace an earlier wooden building. It is a granite structure with a squat square three-stage tower at its southeast corner. The parish house, attached to the main building's northeast corner, is a Tudor Revival structure added in 1925.The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.
