Guting (Chinese: 古亭, formerly transliterated as Kuting Station until 2003) is a metro station in Taipei, Taiwan served by Taipei Metro. The defunct Hsintien line also had a station of the same name. However, its location is not the same as the current station.

The Peace Palace (Chinese: 和平大苑; pinyin: Hépíng Dà Yuàn) is a residential skyscraper located in Daan District, Taipei, Taiwan. The height of the building is 144 m (472 ft), and it comprises 38 floors above ground, as well as seven basement levels.The residential building is located in close proximity to National Taiwan Normal University and offers 106 luxury apartments units, which successfully appealed to the Taiwanese singer and songwriter Jay Chou, who bought the topmost floor of the building, which has a view of the cityscape of Taipei.

National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU; Chinese: 國立臺灣師範大學; pinyin: Guólì Táiwān Shīfàn Dàxué), or Shīdà 師大 is an institution of higher education and normal school operating out of three campuses in Taipei, Taiwan. NTNU is the leading research institute in such disciplines as Education and Linguistics in Taiwan. The Thome Courtyard (traditional Chinese: 東美院; simplified Chinese: 东美院; pinyin: Dōng Měiyuàn) is an art center in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan.

The Taipei Language Institute (TLI; Chinese: 中華語文研習所; pinyin: Zhōnghuá Yǔwén Yánxí Suǒ) was founded in 1956 by a group of missionaries who wished to provide training in Mandarin Chinese for Taiwan-bound missionaries. Originally named Missionary Language Institute, the founder Dr. Marvin Ho created the institute as a means of educating these foreigners in Mandarin and Taiwanese.

The Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance (TABF; traditional Chinese: 台灣金融研訓院; simplified Chinese: 台湾金融研训院; pinyin: Táiwān Jīnróng Yánxùn Yuàn) is a non-profit organization, advised by Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) of Taiwan. It is a pioneer in Taiwan for research, training, proficiency testing, and publication services for banking professionals.Currently, Dr. Wu, Chung-Shu is the chairman and Dr. Hank C.C. HUANG is the president in TABF.

Mandarin Training Center (MTC; Chinese: 國語教學中心) is one of the world's oldest and most distinguished programs for Chinese as a second language study. It is run by National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) in Taipei, Taiwan and located at NTNU Daan Campus.

The Nanmen Market (traditional Chinese: 南門市場; simplified Chinese: 南门市场; pinyin: Nánmén Shìchǎng) is a market in Da'an District, Taipei, Taiwan.

The Taipei Taiwan Temple (Chinese: 臺灣臺北聖殿; pinyin: Táiwān Táiběi Shèngdiàn) is the 31st operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), and is located in Taipei City, Taiwan. Missionaries from the LDS Church first came to Taiwan in 1956. The Taipei Taiwan Temple was announced in 1981 and church leaders decided to build on the site of the mission home in the center of Taipei. On November 17, 1984, Gordon B. Hinckley dedicated the Taipei Taiwan Temple. The temple is built on one-half of an acre and has over 16,000 square feet (1,500 m2) with an exterior of white ceramic tile. There are four ordinance rooms and three sealing rooms. In 2020, the Taipei Taiwan Temple was closed temporarily during the year in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
