National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU; Chinese: 國立臺灣師範大學; pinyin: Guólì Táiwān Shīfàn Dàxué), or Shīdà 師大 is an institution of higher education and normal school operating out of three campuses in Taipei, Taiwan. NTNU is the leading research institute in such disciplines as Education and Linguistics in Taiwan. NTNU was internationally ranked 331st in the 2021 QS World University Rankings, 601-800th in the 2021 Times Higher Education World University Rankings and 900–1000th in the 2020 Academic Ranking of World Universities. NTNU is widely recognized as one of Taiwan's comprehensive and elite higher education institutions with the most international exposure. NTNU is affiliated with National Taiwan University and National Taiwan University of Science and Technology as part of the National Taiwan University System. NTNU is an official member of AAPBS. A number of Taiwan's leading artists, authors, educators, musicologists, linguists, painters, philologists, poets, sinologists and many researchers have passed through the university's doors as students and faculty. The university enrolls approximately 17,000 students each year. Approximately 1,500 students are international.Since 2015, NTNU has been ranked within 350 in the QS World University Rankings (No. 331 in the world in 2020 and No. 61 in Asia). NTNU has been ranked among the top 50 in the world in the three disciplines of education, linguistics, and library and information management systems. This makes National Taiwan Normal University a well-known university with international influence and visibility. The affiliated senior high school of National Taiwan Normal University is also one of the top high schools in Taiwan.

Mandarin Training Center (MTC; Chinese: 國語教學中心) is one of the world's oldest and most distinguished programs for Chinese as a second language study. It is run by National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) in Taipei, Taiwan and located at NTNU Daan Campus.

The Small and Medium Enterprise Administration (SMEA; traditional Chinese: 經濟部中小企業處; simplified Chinese: 经济部中小企业处; pinyin: Jīngjì Bù Zhōngxiǎo Qǐyè Chù) is the administrative agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Taiwan (ROC) responsible for small and medium-sized enterprises-related affairs.

Guting (Chinese: 古亭, formerly transliterated as Kuting Station until 2003) is a metro station in Taipei, Taiwan served by Taipei Metro. The defunct Hsintien line also had a station of the same name. However, its location is not the same as the current station.

The Taiwan Futures Exchange (TAIFEX; Chinese: 臺灣期貨交易所; pinyin: Táiwān Qíhuò Jiāoyì Suǒ; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tâi-oân Kî-hòe Kau-e̍k-só͘) was established in 1998. It offers futures and options on major Taiwan stock indices, government bond futures, equity options and 30-day CP interest rate futures.The development of Taiwan's futures market may be divided into two stages. In the first stage, foreign futures were allowed for trading; the second stage marked the creation of a domestic futures market. The Foreign Futures Trading Law was enacted in June 1992 to provide a legal basis for investors to trade at foreign futures markets. The Futures Trading Law was enacted in March 1997, which replaced the Foreign Futures Trading Law and established the legal guidelines for the domestic futures market. This paved the way for the establishment of TAIFEX in September of the same year.Along the years the TAIFEX have sought to diversify its products seeking to offer more hedging vehicles for investors.

The Taipei Language Institute (TLI; Chinese: 中華語文研習所; pinyin: Zhōnghuá Yǔwén Yánxí Suǒ) was founded in 1956 by a group of missionaries who wished to provide training in Mandarin Chinese for Taiwan-bound missionaries. Originally named Missionary Language Institute, the founder Dr. Marvin Ho created the institute as a means of educating these foreigners in Mandarin and Taiwanese.

The Taipei Taiwan Temple (Chinese: 臺灣臺北聖殿; pinyin: Táiwān Táiběi Shèngdiàn) is the 31st operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), and is located in Taipei City, Taiwan. Missionaries from the LDS Church first came to Taiwan in 1956. The Taipei Taiwan Temple was announced in 1981 and church leaders decided to build on the site of the mission home in the center of Taipei. On November 17, 1984, Gordon B. Hinckley dedicated the Taipei Taiwan Temple. The temple is built on one-half of an acre and has over 16,000 square feet (1,500 m2) with an exterior of white ceramic tile. There are four ordinance rooms and three sealing rooms. In 2020, the Taipei Taiwan Temple was closed temporarily during the year in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance (TABF; traditional Chinese: 台灣金融研訓院; simplified Chinese: 台湾金融研训院; pinyin: Táiwān Jīnróng Yánxùn Yuàn) is a non-profit organization, advised by Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) of Taiwan. It is a pioneer in Taiwan for research, training, proficiency testing, and publication services for banking professionals.Currently, Dr. Wu, Chung-Shu is the chairman and Dr. Hank C.C. HUANG is the president in TABF.

The Leputing (traditional Chinese: 樂埔町; simplified Chinese: 乐埔町; pinyin: Lèbùtīng) is a restaurant in Da'an District, Taipei, Taiwan.

The Mongolian and Tibetan Cultural Center (Chinese: 蒙藏文化中心; pinyin: Měng Zàng Wénhuà Zhōngxīn) is a cultural center in Da'an District, Taipei, Taiwan under the administration of the Ministry of Culture. It was previously under the Mongolian and Tibetan Affairs Commission of the Executive Yuan, which in 2017 had its duties absorbed into the Ministry of Culture and the Mainland Affairs Council's Department of Hong Kong, Macao, Inner Mongolia, and Tibet Affairs.

Jinhua Park (traditional Chinese: 金華公園; simplified Chinese: 金华公园; pinyin: Jīnhuá Gōngyuán) is a park in Da'an District, Taipei, Taiwan.

The Remains of Taipei Prison Wall (Chinese: 臺北監獄圍牆遺蹟; pinyin: Táiběi Jiānyù Wéiqiáng Yíjī) are located in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan at the end of Aiguo East Road and Jinshan South Road adjacent to the Southern Taipei operations center for Chunghwa Telecom. Approximately 100 meters of wall exist on both sides of the Chunghwa Telecom property. The walls were built during Japanese rule.
