Commonwealth Secondary School (abbreviation: CWSS) is a government, autonomous and coeducational secondary school in Jurong East, Singapore. Founded in 1964, Commonwealth Secondary School offers secondary school education which leads to the Singapore-Cambridge GCE Ordinary Level or Singapore-Cambridge GCE Normal Level examination.

Jurong Lake District MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Cross Island line (CRL) located in Jurong East, Singapore. First announced in September 2022, the station is expected to be completed in 2032 along with the other CRL Phase 2 stations.

The Jurong Town Hall, or Trade Association Hub (TA Hub) is a commercial building and the former headquarters of the Jurong Town Corporation. The building is symbolic of the success of Singapore's industrialisation programme in Jurong and was gazetted as a national monument on 2 June 2015. It served as a hub space for head start technology companies in the 2000s. The building was further developed into a new hub for trade associations with Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry as the anchor tenant by 2017. The road Jurong Town Hall Road was named after this building.

The Jurong railway line is a former railway line located in Singapore. Stretching a total of 12 miles (19 km) from Bukit Timah to the Jurong industrial estate, the line consisted of a 9 miles (14 km) main line and three branches. The line was initially planned as part of the Jurong industrial estate by the Singapore government, to connect the industrial estate with Malaya and to facilitate the transfer of goods between Malaya and Jurong. A $6 million loan was given to the Malayan Railway for its construction, which was carried out by the railway and the Economic Development Board, and construction of the line took place between September 1963 and November 1965, with the first train services commencing in the same month. The line was then officially opened on 4 March 1966. However, the line's potential was limited by Singapore's separation from Malaysia in 1965, with 128,000 tons of freight transported on the line in 1974, and the line eventually closed in the 1990s. Portions of the line remain in place, some of which have become popular among explorers and wildlife enthusiasts.

The Singapore Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management (SIPMM) is a not-for-profit, independent professional organisation founded in 1972 with the aim to enhance managerial effectiveness of professionals in purchasing, logistics, materials and supply chain management. The mission of SIPMM is to lead professional competence in purchasing, materials, logistics, and supply chain management.In 1975, SIPMM became the first Singapore organisation to be admitted to the International Federation of Purchasing & Supply Management (IFPSM). Since then, the Institute has worked with fellow national affiliates of IFPSM, developing strategic relationship with leading institutes worldwide. In 1980, SIPMM initiated closer cooperation of Asia-Pacific institutes within the IFPSM and became the first institute to host the inaugural IFPSM Asia-Pacific regional conference. Subsequently in 1990, the Institute hosted the IFPSM sixth Asia-Pacific regional conference.In 1998, SIPMM conducted a pilot survey on the Singapore Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI). The composite index took into account the Singapore’s economic structure. The Singapore PMI was launched in January 1999 and since then, SIPMM has published the monthly index.

Jurong East is a planning area and residential town situated in the West Region of Singapore. It borders Jurong West and Boon Lay to the west, Clementi to the east, Tengah and Bukit Batok to the north and Selat Jurong to the south. First developed in the 1970s, it is located approximately 15 km (9.3 mi) west of the Downtown Core district. Jurong East is the 7th most populated planning area in the West Region. Jurong East, along with the entire Jurong area in general, is envisioned to be the country's second central business district (CBD) as part of the Jurong Lake District project.

Ulu Pandan Bus Depot is the fourth bus depot to be built by the Land Transport Authority in Singapore. The depot is intended to accommodate the growing bus fleet over the next few years, under the Bus Service Enhancement Programme and Bus Contracting Model. The depot is bordered by Sungei Pandan, Sungei Ulu Pandan and Boon Lay Way, with Business Park Drive separating the depot complex, with the open-air bus park to the west of the road and the main depot building to the east of the road. Phase 1, an open-air bus park to the west of Business Park Drive, is in operational since its completion in early 2017. SMRT Buses is temporarily using it to park buses overnight, as with the pre-handing over stages of the depot in line with other BCM bus depots, such as Bulim and Loyang bus depots. Phase 2 is the main depot building, complete with offices and facilities for day-to-day bus operations, located to the east of Business Park Drive. The depot is scheduled to be completed by 1st Quarter 2018, and it will be equipped with facilities for daily bus operations, bus repair/ maintenance, bus parking, offices, rest areas for bus drivers and canteen, being able to accommodate about 500 buses. The depot was officially opened by Minister for Transport Khaw Boon Wan on 27 October that year.

Jurong Town Hall Bus Interchange is a bus interchange located in Jurong East, Singapore. Operated by Tower Transit, the bus interchange is located along Venture Drive, adjacent to Vision Exchange, The JTC Summit, Jurong Town Hall, and within walking distance of Jurong East MRT station and International Business Park.
