York Catholic High School

The York City Ice Arena is a 1,000-seat rink in York, Pennsylvania, U.S. Renovated in September 2004, it hosts local public skating, ice hockey, and figure skating. It was the home field of the York Capitals in the AIF from 2013 to 2015 before the team moved to Harrisburg as the Central Penn Capitals. College Hockey East held their inaugural season playoffs at York City Ice Arena in February 2014. The arena received brief international media coverage after a player's upset parent broke a panel of safety glass during a hockey game on January 19, 2015.

Penn State York is a commonwealth campus of Pennsylvania State University located in Spring Garden Township, Pennsylvania. It enrolls 742 students as of 2021. The York campus was established in 1939 to provide technical education and to allow students to complete basic degree requirements in their home area before transferring to University Park to finish their program. In 1953, the school began to offer its first complete associate degree programs. It moved to its present location in 1956. These classrooms are used by faculty and students throughout the year as additional classroom space on Penn State York's campus.

The Billmeyer House, also known as York House, is a historic home located at York, Pennsylvania, York County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1860, and is a three-story, brick Italian Villa style dwelling. It consists of a "head house" with rear wing, and topped by flat roof with a 10 feet square cupola. The interior features a parlor ceiling and walls decorated by noted artist Filippo Costaggini (1839–1904).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1970.

The Laurel–Rex Fire Company House, consisting of the Laurel Fire Company's engine house and the Rex Hook & Ladder Company's truck house, is a historic fire station located in York City, York County, Pennsylvania. The oldest building, the Laurel engine house, was built in 1878, and is a two-story, brick building in the Italianate style. The original engine house was expanded in 1887 with a horse stable and in 1892 with a ladder truck house. It has a three-story bell tower on the southwest corner and a second faux tower atop the roof on the northwest corner. It measures 48 by 96 feet (15 by 29 m).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
