Penn State York

The Pullo Center is located in York, Pennsylvania, United States, on the Penn State York campus. The theatre has approximately 1,000 seats and hosts performances from concert to Broadway to comedy. The center can be rented for community functions. Organizations using it have included the York Youth Symphony Orchestra, York Junior Symphony, Dreamwrights, and Spring Garden Band. In addition to housing the theatre, the building is home to Penn State York's Lee R. Glatfelter Library. In the atrium, just outside the main entrances to the library and theatre, is the Bistro at Penn State York. Classrooms on the lower level round out the contents of The Pullo Center. These classrooms are used by faculty and students throughout the year as additional classroom space on Penn State York's campus.

The York City Ice Arena is a 1,000-seat rink in York, Pennsylvania, U.S. Renovated in September 2004, it hosts local public skating, ice hockey, and figure skating. It was the home field of the York Capitals in the AIF from 2013 to 2015 before the team moved to Harrisburg as the Central Penn Capitals. College Hockey East held their inaugural season playoffs at York City Ice Arena in February 2014. The arena received brief international media coverage after a player's upset parent broke a panel of safety glass during a hockey game on January 19, 2015.

In the Commonwealth, the median family income was $49,501 and the United States median family income was $49,445, in 2010.York Suburban School District operates six schools: Yorkshire Elementary School (Valley View at Yorkshire), Valley View Elementary School, East York Elementary School, Indian Rock Elementary School, York Suburban Middle School, and York Suburban Senior High School. Valley View and Yorkshire consist of grades K-2. Indian Rock Elementary and East York Elementary both consist of grades 3–5. York Suburban Middle School consists of grades 6–8. York Suburban Senior High School consists of grades 9-12. The district's colors are orange and black with the Trojan as the mascot.

Temple Beth Israel is a Reform synagogue located at 2090 Hollywood Drive, York, Pennsylvania, in the United States.Founded in 1877 as the Hebrew Reformed Congregation Temple Beth Israel, it joined the Union of American Hebrew Congregations (now Union for Reform Judaism) in 1907. That year it completed the construction of its first building, a Moorish Revival brick building topped with large, copper Onion domes.In 1962 Beth Israel started construction on its current facilities, completing the Religious school wing, auditorium, and social facilities, and in 1966 it completed work on the sanctuary. As of 2011, the rabbi was Jeffrey Astrachan.
