Willoughby Hills is a city in Lake County, Ohio, United States, along the Chagrin River. The population was 10,019 at the 2020 census. A suburb of Cleveland, it is part of the Cleveland metropolitan area.

Nagirroc was a historic country estate in Lake County, Ohio, that existed from 1891 to 1924. It was the summer residence of Cleveland, Ohio, shipping, mining, and steel manufacturing magnate James C. Corrigan. The original acreage that made up Nagirroc (which is "Corrigan" spelled backwards) was purchased in 1891, and a large home built there. After Corrigan's death in 1908, the estate passed to his son, James W. Corrigan. The son greatly expanded the estate, and turned it into a farm and horticultural showcase. The estate was sold in 1924, and most of it turned into a golf course.

Wickliffe High School was a public high school in Wickliffe, Ohio. In 2023, the building was demolished to make room for a new K-12 combined campus on the former high school grounds.

Stonewater Golf Club is a semi-private regulation golf course and facility built in 1996 in Highland Heights, Ohio. Designed by Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry, the course covers 178 acres (0.72 km2). Sixteen of the eighteen holes have water hazards which necessitated 23 wooden bridges. The course is also well wooded, with seventy sand bunkers. Its par is 71. The course is designed around the residential neighborhood of Aberdeen.

The Wickliffe Middle School shooting was a school shooting that occurred on November 7, 1994, at Wickliffe Middle School in Wickliffe, Ohio, United States. The gunman, 37-year-old Keith A. Ledeger, was a former student at Wickliffe Middle School.

During World War II the yeshiva began relocating to Wickliffe, Ohio, in the United States and is now known as the Rabbinical College of Telshe, commonly referred to as Telz Yeshiva, or Telz in short. It is a prominent Haredi institution of Torah study, with additional branches in Chicago and New York. It is the successor of the New Haven Yeshiva of Cleveland.

Saint Mary Seminary and Graduate School of Theology in Wickliffe, Ohio, is a Roman Catholic seminary that serves the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cleveland. It was established in 1848 by the first bishop of the Diocese of Cleveland, Louis Amadeus Rappe.

Owned and operated by Cuyahoga County since 1946, it also serves Lake County and Geauga County. The airport is located 10 nautical miles (12 mi, 19 km) east of downtown Cleveland and sits on the border of three cities: Highland Heights, Richmond Heights and Willoughby Hills. It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation reliever airport for Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
