Much Marcle is a village and civil parish in Herefordshire, England, located 7 miles (11 km) north-east of Ross-on-Wye. The 2011 Census recorded the parish's population as 660. The name Marcle comes from the Anglo-Saxon word for a boundary field, mearc-leah. Much, in this case, means large or great, from the Middle English usage of the word.

Much Marcle Castle, also known as Mortimer's Castle, is a motte-and-bailey castle in Much Marcle, Herefordshire which has surviving earthworks present today.

Homme House is an 18th-century country house in Much Marcle, Herefordshire, UK. Primarily built of brick, it is now used as a wedding venue and is a Grade II* listed building.Originally built in the 16th century of stone it was substantially rebuilt and enlarged in the late 18th century in brick with stone dressings and a slate roof. The frontage of the main rectangular block has three storeys and six bays, with a porch having two pairs of Tuscan columns beneath a pediment. Only the attached tower remains of the previous stone building. The house stands in an estate of gardens, 100 acres (40 ha) of parkland and 80 acres (32 ha) of woodland. A Grade I listed summerhouse stands in the grounds.

H.Weston & Sons Limited ("Weston's Cider") is a cider and perry producer based in Much Marcle, Herefordshire, England. The family-owned company, founded by Henry Weston, has been making cider in the same location since 1880 and the managing director, Helen Thomas, is a fourth generation member of the Weston family. The company had 230 staff as of 2016.Weston's use traditional methods in their cider making process, with a large collection of oak vats.They have their own fruit orchards which are a mixture of bush and standard trees and over 43 acres of organic trees. They also source cider apples from growers within the Three Counties of Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire and a few within the county of Monmouthshire.Weston's Cider make a variety of different products including perry, organic and low alcohol ciders in the premium cider sector. Their ciders are widely available, locally and nationally as well as in over 40 countries globally.In response to the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on pub businesses, Weston's donated 1,800 kegs of its Stowford Press cider to its customers, starting from 29 June 2020.In November 2023 the company was fined £1.4 million after an employee suffered a fatal collision with a half open security barrier.

St Mary's Church in Kempley is a former parish church in the Forest of Dean district of Gloucestershire, England, close to the border with Herefordshire. It is a Grade I listed building. St Mary's Church is now owned by English Heritage and maintained by The Friends of Kempley Churches.

Preston is a village, former manor, civil and ecclesiastical parish in the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, England. It is situated 22 km north-west of the city of Gloucester and 4 km south-west of the Herefordshire town of Ledbury. In 1931 the parish had a population of 77. On 1 April 1935 the parish of Preston, comprising 897 acres, was added to the parish of Dymock, adjacent at the south-east, the parish church of which, St Mary the Virgin, is situated 4 miles to the south-east. The parish church is dedicated to St John the Baptist. To the immediate west of the church is Preston Court, a grade II* listed timber-framed manor house dating from about 1600, in 2020 operating as "The Country House Collection" antique shop.

Little Marcle is a village and civil parish 10 miles (16 km) east of Hereford, in the county of Herefordshire, England. In 2011 the parish had a population of 152. The parish touches Aylton, Dymock, Ledbury and Much Marcle. Little Marcle shares a parish council with Aylton, Munsley and Pixley called "Pixley and District Parish Council".

Kempley Daffodil Meadow (grid reference SO676301) is a 1.2-hectare (3.0-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Gloucestershire, notified in 1986.The site is listed in the 'Forest of Dean Local Plan Review' as a Key Wildlife Site (KWS).

Kempley is a village and civil parish in the Forest of Dean district of Gloucestershire, England, close to the border with Herefordshire. It lies 17 miles (27 km) northwest of Gloucester and 17 miles (27 km) of Hereford. The nearest market towns of Newent and Ledbury are 5 miles (8.0 km) and 8 miles (13 km) away respectively. The village maintains the Kempley Tardis (a redundant telephone box) - a National Lottery funded project supported by English Heritage. The project, which is run by the Friends of Kempley Churches, aims to archive and document the entire social, economic and cultural history of the village. In March 1994 fields near the village were found to contain the remains of two of the victims of serial killer Fred West. The small parish (280 residents) has two notable churches, one dedicated to St Mary and another to St Edward the Confessor.

Aylton is a village in eastern Herefordshire, England. It is 5.5 km (3.4 mi) west of Ledbury. The population of this parish at the 2011 Census was 144. Aylton has a church and shares parish boundaries with Pixley, Putley and Little Marcle.
