Rhein-Gymnasium

Flehbach (in its lower course: Faulbach) is a river of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It flows into the Rhine in Cologne-Mülheim.

On 9 June 2004, a nail bomb detonated in Cologne, Germany, in a business area popular with immigrants from Turkey. Twenty-two people were wounded, with four sustaining serious injuries. A barber shop was destroyed; many shops and numerous parked cars were seriously damaged by the explosion and by the nails added to the bomb for extra damage. Authorities initially excluded the possibility of a terrorist attack. The bomb, which contained more than 800 nails, was hidden in a travel compartment on a bicycle left in front of the barber shop.In November 2011, after having been accused by authorities of being responsible for a robbery in Eisenach, the neo-Nazi terrorist group National Socialist Underground (Nationalsozialistischer Untergrund) released a video claiming responsibility for the Cologne bombing.The group’s main members, Uwe Böhnhardt, Uwe Mundlos, and Beate Zschäpe, were also indicted with the killing of nine businessmen of Turkish and Greek origin between 2000 and 2006 (the National Socialist Underground murders) and the murder of Michèle Kiesewetter in 2007. Böhnhardt and Mundlos died in a murder-suicide, leaving only Zschäpe to be charged (among other charges) for the attempted murder of 23 people in the Cologne bombing, in the NSU trial. The events of the 2017 film In the Fade, starring Diane Kruger as a German woman whose Kurdish husband and their child were killed in a nail bomb attack by Neo-Nazis, was inspired by the 2004 bombing.

Wiener Platz is an interchange station and hub on the Cologne Stadtbahn lines 4, 13 and 18 in the Cologne district of Mülheim. The station is located at Wiener Platz, the center of Mülheim. The station consists of an at-grade station for line 4 and an underground station for line 13 and 18. The underground station was opened in 1997.

The Mülheim Bridge (German: Mülheimer Brücke [ˈmyːlhaɪmɐ ˌbʁʏkə]; Kölsch: Möllemer Bröck [ˈmøləmɐ ˌbʁøkˑ]) in Cologne is a suspension bridge on the river Rhine in western Germany. It has a main span of 315 metres. The bridge was originally completed in 1929. On October 14–15, 1944, an American bomb struck the chamber containing the demolition charges, destroying the bridge. The bridge was rebuilt between 1949 and 1951. It connects the city district Riehl on the west side of the river with Mülheim on the east side, after which the bridge is named.

Stadthalle Köln-Mülheim is a conference centre located in Cologne, Germany, which is primarily used for fairs, congresses and concerts. The Protestant cemetery (German: Evangelischer Friedhof Köln-Mülheim) Bergisch Gladbach road ( Highway 506 ) in Mülheim district of Cologne existed since the beginning of the 17th century and is one of the oldest preserved cemeteries in Cologne, Germany. The cemetery is still in operation and used for burials.

E-Werk is a live music venue located in Cologne, Germany. Opened in 1991, the building was a former power station built in the style of historicism. E-Werk has hosted artists such as Iggy Pop, Def Leppard, Meat Loaf, Foreigner, Huey Lewis and the News, Status Quo, Guano Apes and Alice in Chains.

The Palladium is a concert hall in Cologne, located in the immediate vicinity of the E-Werk. The building was built in 1899 as a mechanical engineering hall for the company Trefil Europe Engineering and has served as a venue for cultural events, mainly concerts, since December 1998. The Palladium is operated by Köln Event Veranstaltungsgesellschaft mbH, which also runs the neighbouring E-Werk.

Slabystraße is an interchange station on the Cologne Stadtbahn lines 13 and 18, located in the Cologne district of Nippes. The station lies within the western feeder to the Cologne Mülheim Bridge. The station was opened in 1974 and consists of four side platforms with four rail tracks.

Mülheim (German: Köln-Mülheim [ˈmyːlhaɪm]; Kölsch: Möllem [ˈmølːəm]) is a borough (Stadtbezirk) of Cologne in Germany and a formerly independent town (Mülheim am Rhein). Mülheim is located on the right bank of the Rhine opposite the old town of Cologne. The district borders Leverkusen to the north, Bergisch Gladbach to the east, the Cologne districts of Kalk and Innenstadt to the south. The river Rhine lies west of Mülheim, on the other riverbank lies the Cologne borough of Nippes. The district is ethnically diverse, with a significant Turkish population.
