École internationale de théâtre Jacques Lecoq is a school of physical theatre located on Rue du Faubourg-Saint-Denis in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. Founded in 1956 by Jacques Lecoq, the school offers a professional and intensive two-year course emphasizing the body, movement and space as entry points in theatrical performance and prepares its students to create collaboratively. This method is called mimodynamics. The school’s graduate list includes renowned figures of stage such as Ariane Mnouchkine of Théâtre du Soleil, Steven Berkoff and Simon McBurney of Théâtre de Complicité, among others.

The Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) is a private design school in Italy founded in 1966 by Francesco Morelli.The school is organized into four disciplines: Design, Fashion, Visual Communication and Management.It is spread over nine cities - Milan, Turin, Venice, Cagliari, Florence, Rome, Barcelona, Madrid and São Paulo - and thirteen locations which occupy more than 50,000 square meters of space. It offers 29 different courses of three-year duration, in several languages: English, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. These courses are attended by about 10,000 students every year, totaling to more than 90,000 students, for the institute's forty-year history.

The Polytechnic University of Milan (Politecnico di Milano) is the largest technical university in Italy, with about 42,000 students. The central offices and headquarters are located in the historical campus of Città Studi in Milan, which is also the largest, active since 1927. According to the QS World University Rankings for the subject area 'Engineering & Technology', it ranked in 2020 as the 20th best in the world. It ranked 6th worldwide for Design, 9th for Civil and Structural Engineering, 9th for Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering and 7th for Architecture. Its notable alumni or professors include Nobel laureate Giulio Natta, novelist Carlo Emilio Gadda and architects Renzo Piano and Aldo Rossi.

Città Studi (literally, "studies city") is a district ("quartiere") of Milan, Italy, located within the Zone 3 administrative division. Its name comes from the fact that the Politecnico technical university, as well as most technical and scientific branches of the University of Milan, are based in this area. The area also houses several prominent hospitals of Milan, including the IRCCS National Cancer Foundation and the Carlo Besta Neurological Institute. There are plans to relocate the University of Milan from Città Studi to the former Expo campus at Rho fiera by 2025, which have met considerable opposition.

The Orto Botanico Didattico Sperimentale dell'Università di Milano (3,600 m2) is a small botanical garden operated by the Istituto di Scienze Botaniche of the University of Milan. It is located at Viale Colombo 60, Milan, Italy. The garden is used primarily for student education, such as raising corn in a controlled environment to study breeding and mutations. It also contains ferns, succulent plants, and various species raised from seeds including asparagus, barley, peas, petunias, primroses, rice, spinach, tobacco, tomatoes, and wheat.

AmadeoLab is an Italian research institute based in Milan, Italy. The lab is a public hospital, currently representing the headquarters of the IRCCS National Cancer Institute (INT). and of the Neurological Institute "Carlo Besta". The building is made up of seven floors which contain all the medical, administrative and research departments. The Institute performs tests to prevent and diagnose potential oncological illnesses, and provides appropriate medical care and assistance for their treatment.

Birrificio Lambrate is a craft brewery in the Lambrate district of Milan, Italy, founded in 1996. The brewery, formerly located at Via Adelchi, 5, angolo Via Porpora, 10100 is now at Via Privata Gaetano Sbodio 30/1, 20134. It has two outlets in Milan, a pub at Via Adelchi and an "English style" pub-restaurant, at Via Camillo Golgi, 60, 20133.

Lambrate is a station on Line 2 of the Milan Metro in the Lambrate district of Milan. It was opened on 27 September 1969 as part of the inaugural section of Line 2, between Cascina Gobba and Caiazzo.The station is located at the Piazza Enrico Bottini, in front of Milano Lambrate railway station, and has been connected to it by a tunnel since December 2010.

Milano Lambrate railway station (Italian: Stazione di Milano Lambrate) is one of the main stations serving the city and comune of Milan, Italy. Opened in 1931, the station is the third largest in Milan in terms of number of tracks, after Milano Centrale and Milano Porta Garibaldi. It is part of the Milan belt railway as well as of the railways linking Milan with Genoa, Venice, Bologna and Mantua. The station is managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI), while the commercial area of the passenger building is managed by Centostazioni. The train services are operated by Trenitalia and Trenord. Underneath the station, and connected with it, is a Milan Metro station of the same name on Line 2.

Fausto Tinelli (1959–1978) and Lorenzo "Iaio" Iannucci (1959–1978) were two Italian left-wing activists who were shot dead after a street confrontation in Milan on 18 March 1978 during the Years of Lead. An official investigation into their deaths closed without a conviction in 2000. Various theories have been suggested for the double murder, involving the neo-fascist underground, the Italian intelligence agencies, the kidnapping of Aldo Moro, and local drug dealers.

Lambrate (Lombard: Lambraa [lãˈbrɑː]) is a district (quartiere) of Milan, Italy, located within the Zone 3 administrative division, six km (3.7 mi) north-east of the city centre. It owes its name to the Lambro river that traverses the area. Lambrate houses one of the major railway stations of north-eastern Milan, the Stazione di Milano Lambrate. The district is also well known for Parco Lambro, a large urban park established in 1934. The famous Lambretta motor scooter was manufactured in Lambrate, and named after this district, as is Birrificio Lambrate, a craft brewery established in 1996.
