Blackpool Town Hall is a municipal building in Talbot Square, Blackpool, England. The town hall is the headquarters of Blackpool Council, which is the main governing body for the wider Borough of Blackpool. It is a Grade II listed building.

Blackpool Illuminations is an annual lights festival, founded in 1879 and first switched on 18 September that year, held each autumn in the British seaside resort of Blackpool on the Fylde Coast in Lancashire. Also known locally as The Lights or The Illuminations, they run each year for 66 days (since 2020, this has been extended to 100+ days), from late August until early November at a time when most other English seaside resorts' seasons are coming to an end. They are 6.2 miles (10 km) long and use over one million bulbs. The display stretches along the Promenade from Starr Gate at the south end of the town to Bispham in the north. Since 2020 the illuminations season has been extended to run until after the Christmas and New Year celebrations. The most recent season ran from 1 September 2023 until (after a week extension) 7 January 2024, the upcoming 2024–25 season switch-on has been confirmed for 30 August 2024.

Sacred Heart Church is a Roman Catholic church in Blackpool, Lancashire, England, on Talbot Road close to the town centre. It was the first Roman Catholic church built in Blackpool and has been designated a Grade II* listed building by English Heritage.

Blackpool Grand Theatre is a theatre in Blackpool, Lancashire, England. Since 2006, it has also been known as the National Theatre of Variety. It is a Grade II* Listed Building.

The Grand Metropole Hotel is a large hotel in Blackpool, England, the only Blackpool hotel to sit directly on the shoreline. It is one of the two oldest hotels in Blackpool; work originally began in 1776 on what was then named Bailey's Hotel and it opened in 1785. It is now owned by Britannia Hotels.

Houndshill Shopping Centre is an indoor shopping centre in Blackpool, Lancashire England; located in centre of town, just opposite Blackpool Tower.

Radio Wave was an Independent Local Radio station serving Blackpool, The Fylde and surrounding areas. It broadcast from studios in the Layton area of Blackpool via a specially constructed transmitter atop Blackpool Tower. Following its sale to Bauer Radio, the station was closed and merged with the Greatest Hits Radio network in September 2020.

Blackpool Tower Circus (often shortened to the Tower Circus) is a circus show which performs in The Blackpool Tower Circus arena, located inside The Blackpool Tower, Blackpool, Lancashire, England, United Kingdom. It has run continuously since 1894, with the arena being the oldest permanent circus arena still in use in the world. The show's arena is one of only four circus arenas in the world with a sinking ring – where the hydraulic ring floor is lowered by 1.37 metres (4.5 ft) to allow 42,000 imperial gallons (190,000 L) of water to fill the ring in less than a minute. This is used the circus as part of a "water finale" with fountains. The circus is also known for having resident clowns, most famous being Charlie Cairoli, who appear each year in the show. The current resident clowns are Mooky the Clown, who has been the head clown since 1999, and his brother Mr Boo.

The Frankenstein Project is a contemporary sculpture by Tony Stallard, located on the Blackpool Promenade in Lancashire, England. The work was permanently installed in 2001, and consists of a divers decompression chamber. Inside the chamber is a blue neon light which illuminates the skeletons and killer whale skull inside the chamber.

Blackpool Tower is a tourist attraction in Blackpool, Lancashire, England, which was opened to the public on 14 May 1894. When it opened, Blackpool Tower was the tallest man made structure in the British Empire. Inspired by the Eiffel Tower in Paris, it is 518 feet (158 metres) tall and is the 125th-tallest freestanding tower in the world. Blackpool Tower is also the common name for the Tower Buildings, an entertainment complex in a red-brick three-storey block that comprises the tower, Tower Circus, the Tower Ballroom, and roof gardens, which was designated a Grade I listed building in 1973.

Showtown (sometimes referred to as Showtown Blackpool or the Showtown Museum) is a museum in the British resort town Blackpool. It is focused on Blackpool's history as an entertainment town, and includes galleries dedicated to circus, magic, dancing and the the Illuminations. It is joint operated by Blackpool Heritage and Museums and Blackpool Tourism Ltd - both of which are owned by Blackpool Council, and it was opened in March 2024. It is located on Bank Hey Street, a few doors down from the Blackpool Tower.

The Comedy Carpet is a public art installation located in the British resort town of Blackpool, Lancashire. It is on the west side of Blackpool Promenade, adjacent to Blackpool Tower, in an area known as Tower Festival Headland. Consisting of a concrete and granite surface, it features names and quotes of famous comic writers and comedians - the majority of whom who performed in Blackpool - and is designed to resemble a music hall showbill. It was commissioned by Blackpool Council and was designed by Gordon Young, with the typography by Why Not Associates. It is one of the largest pieces of public art to have been commissioned in the United Kingdom.
