The Clark Public School District is a comprehensive community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade from Clark, in Union County, New Jersey, United States. Students from Garwood, attend the district's high school as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Garwood Public Schools.As of the 2019–20 school year, the district, comprised of five schools, had an enrollment of 2,299 students and 184.7 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.4:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "FG", the fourth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.

The Robinson's Branch Reservoir is a decommissioned water reservoir in Clark, New Jersey. It is the largest body of water in Union County. Other names for the reservoir include the "Clark Reservoir" and the "Middlesex Reservoir," after its former owner, the Middlesex Water Company. The reservoir sits along the Robinson's Branch of the Rahway River. Clark residents have sunbathed, fished and bird-watched along the edges of the Robinson's Branch Reservoir since its inception. The County of Union is currently rehabilitating the area for recreational enjoyment, and has created a flyover aerial video of the site for the public.

Clark is a township in southern Union County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 15,544, an increase of 788 (+5.3%) from the 2010 census count of 14,756, which in turn reflected an increase of 159 (+1.1%) from the 14,597 counted in the 2000 census.

Mother Seton Regional High School (often referred to as Mother Seton) is an all-girl Catholic high school located in Clark, in Union County, New Jersey, United States. It is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1971. The school is staffed by the Sisters of Charity of Convent Station, New Jersey, and lay faculty members. The school occupies a two-level building located on a campus of 27 acres (110,000 m2).As of the 2017–18 school year, the school had an enrollment of 233 students and 34.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 6.7:1. The school's student body was 42.5% (99) White, 21.5% (50) Asian, 14.2% (33) Black, 12.4% (29) Hispanic and 9.4% (22) two or more races.

The Robinson Plantation House is a historic house in Clark, New Jersey built around 1690 on territory that was part of the Elizabethtown Tract, and was once part of Rahway. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974 as Seventeenth Century Clark House. The owner of the house, Dr. William Robinson, was the first official landowner in Clark, NJ. He was one of only a few physicians in New Jersey at the time, and built a medicine room in the house to practice "Physick," a then-popular form of healing using plants and herbs. The Swaminarayan Mandir, New Jersey (Colonia) is a Swaminarayan temple that comes under ISSO (Nar Narayan Dev Gadi of the Swaminarayan Sampraday), located in the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States. It was officially inaugurated by Acharya Maharajshree Koshalendraprasad Pande on the 4th of September 2005.

Rahway High School is a four-year public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grades from Rahway, in Union County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, operating as the lone secondary school of the Rahway Public Schools. The high school's present location was built in 1941. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1931.As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,165 students and 99.1 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.8:1. There were 301 students (25.8% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 52 (4.5% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Winfield Township (also called Winfield Park) is a township in Union County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 1,423, its lowest decennial census and a decrease of 48 (−3.3%) from the 2010 census count of 1,471, which in turn reflected a decline of 43 (−2.8%) from the 1,514 counted in the 2000 census. The township is the sixth-smallest municipality in the state. Winfield and Linden share the same ZIP Code. Winfield Township was incorporated as a township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on August 6, 1941, from portions of Clark and Linden, passing over the Governor's veto.

The Rahway Cemetery is located along the banks of the Rahway River in Rahway, New Jersey, U.S. Earlier, the land is thought to be owned by the Frazee family with the first burial in 1724 of John Frazee. This land for the cemetery was later acquired by the First Presbyterian Cemetery, which was established circa 1741–1742. It is adjacent to Merchants' and Drovers' Tavern and the Rahway River Parkway.

The Merchants' and Drovers' Tavern is a historic tavern located in Rahway, Union County, New Jersey, United States. The tavern was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 21, 1978. The exact construction dates of the building have been the source of some historical debate. An analysis of samples of the building’s wooden frame conducted by Columbia University’s Lamont Dougherty Earth Sciences Observatory found that there were two distinct periods of construction – one in 1795–1796, then another in 1818–1819. The claim that the building did not exist until 1795 at the earliest is further supported by the fact that the first innkeeper, John Anderson, did not receive a tavern license until 1798, after the initial period of construction. It only began operation as a hotel around 1825, after the recent addition turned the two and a half story building into a three and a half story one. In the 1960s, the Rahway Historical Society formed and saved the historic building from destruction by purchasing it and transforming it into the center for historical interpretation that it is today. The Museum is presently looked after by The Merchants and Drovers Tavern Museum Association. Throughout most of the 2000s, the Tavern underwent significant restoration efforts. In September 2021, the Museum announced on its website that the second phase of the Restoring Our Legacy Campaign has been completed and Phase III is underway. Phase II saw the restoration of the second, third, and fourth floors of the building as well as the front facade.The tavern is adjacent to the Rahway Cemetery. The Merchants and Drovers Tavern Museum Association (MDTMA) runs historic tours and talks, including on the Victorian-era murder known as The Unknown Woman or Rahway Jane Doe. In 2017, the cast of the hit paranormal reality series Ghost Hunters held a fundraiser for the museum.

Colonia is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Woodbridge Township, in Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 17,795.In 1919, the New Jersey State Highway Commission built a new road that became part of the Lincoln Highway, an early plan to create a transcontinental highway. The stretch was constructed on the west side of the Pennsylvania Railroad (now the Northeast Corridor) from near the northeast of Dow Avenue between Colonia and Iselin to Cedar Street in Menlo Park, to avoid two railroad crossings. The old road is now Middlesex-Essex Turnpike and Thornall Street, on the east side of the tracks.

Droescher's Mill is located in Cranford, Union County, New Jersey, United States. The mill was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 8, 1974. It is the oldest continuously operated commercial building in New Jersey.
