Colonia High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grades in the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township in Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It operates as part of the Woodbridge Township School District, along with two other high schools, John F. Kennedy Memorial High School and Woodbridge High School. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1973; The school's accreditation status was extended for seven years in Fall 2018.As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,344 students and 118.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.4:1. There were 302 students (22.5% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 97 (7.2% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.In 2022, Woodbridge investigated an apparent cluster of more than 100 brain tumor patients who were Colonia High School employees or students since its construction in 1967. State health officials found that the tumors were somewhat more prevalent than expected, but no radiation hazards were detected in or around the school.

The Robinson Plantation House is a historic house in Clark, New Jersey built around 1690 on territory that was part of the Elizabethtown Tract, and was once part of Rahway. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974 as Seventeenth Century Clark House. The owner of the house, Dr. William Robinson, was the first official landowner in Clark, NJ. He was one of only a few physicians in New Jersey at the time, and built a medicine room in the house to practice "Physick," a then-popular form of healing using plants and herbs. The Robinson's Branch Reservoir is a decommissioned water reservoir in Clark, New Jersey. It is the largest body of water in Union County. Other names for the reservoir include the "Clark Reservoir" and the "Middlesex Reservoir," after its former owner, the Middlesex Water Company. The reservoir sits along the Robinson's Branch of the Rahway River. Clark residents have sunbathed, fished and bird-watched along the edges of the Robinson's Branch Reservoir since its inception. The County of Union is currently rehabilitating the area for recreational enjoyment, and has created a flyover aerial video of the site for the public.

Iselin () is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Woodbridge Township, in Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States census, Iselin's population was 18,695.Previously known as Perrytown and Unionville, Iselin received its current name after New York City investment banker and philanthropist Adrian Iselin, who established a finishing school in the 1870s for girls from wealthy New York families there. Iselin additionally subsidized the erection of a new train station which was replaced by a newer station to the south known as Metropark. The largest bordering town of Iselin is Edison.

Metropark station is an intermodal transportation hub on the Northeast Corridor in the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township in Middlesex County, New Jersey that is located 24.6 miles southwest of New York Penn Station. It is owned and operated by NJ Transit and serves Amtrak and NJ Transit's Northeast Corridor Line. NJ Transit runs peak period 'loop' buses in coordination with train schedules. The station is near the interchange of Route 27 and Garden State Parkway near exits 131 and 132. and has a multi-story parking facility that is open at all times.The station, built by the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) and the United States Department of Transportation, opened on November 14, 1971, as Garden State Metropark. It was built as a suburban park-and-ride stop for the then-new high-speed rail Metroliners.

New Dover is an unincorporated community located within Edison Township in Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The neighborhood began as colonial village that was part of adjacent Woodbridge Township. Along with Bonhamtown, New Durham and Stelton, it is one of the older historical communities of the township.
