Old Hall, Willenhall

Willenhall Library, formerly Willenhall Town Hall, is a municipal building in Walsall Street in Willenhall, West Midlands, England. The building, which was the headquarters of Willenhall Urban District Council, is a locally listed building.

Willenhall Bilston Street railway station was a station built on the Grand Junction Railway in 1837.: 22  It served the town of Willenhall, and was located just to the south of the town centre. It was one of two railway stations in the town - the other being Willenhall Stafford Street. The station is expected to reopen in 2024.

The Memorial Clock is a clock tower in the market place of Willenhall, West Midlands, England. It was erected in 1892, in memory of a local doctor.

The Church of St Giles is a parish church in Willenhall, Metropolitan Borough of Walsall, West Midlands, England. Although the current church building dates to 1867, a church has been located in Willenhall since c. 1313, where a chaplain is mentioned in one of the Paget deeds. The current parish priest is Revd Sue Boyce.

The Leveson Manor House, contemporarily known as the Moat House, and also known as the Willenhall Moated Site, is a former manor house in the area of Willenhall in England. It was once a large building surrounded by a moat.

The Locksmith's House (formerly Willenhall Lock Museum) is a museum in Willenhall, England. The premises, on New Road, consist of a house and backyard workshops, typical of the many family run lock making businesses which once thrived in the town.

Willenhall Stafford Street railway station was a station built by the Wolverhampton and Walsall Railway in 1872, and was operated by the Midland Railway from 1876 onwards. It served the town of Willenhall, and was located to the north of the town centre. It was originally named Willenhall Market Place. It was one of two railway stations in the town - the other being Willenhall Bilston Street. The station closed in 1931.

Willenhall is a historic market town and civil parish in the Metropolitan Borough of Walsall, and partly in Wolverhampton, in the West Midlands, England, with a population taken at the 2011 census of 28,480. It is situated between Wolverhampton and Walsall, historically in the county of Staffordshire. It lies upon the River Tame, and is part of the Black Country. The town is historically famous for the manufacture of locks and keys. As early as 1770 Willenhall contained 148 skilled locksmiths and its coat of arms reflects the importance of this industry to its growth. It was home to the National Union of Lock and Metal Workers from 1889 until 2004. Its motto is Salus Populi Suprema Lex – The welfare of the people is the highest law. The urban district of Willenhall (established by the Local Government Act 1894) was partitioned in 1966 between the county boroughs of Walsall and Wolverhampton (since 1974 the metropolitan boroughs of Walsall and Wolverhampton). The northern border of Willenhall has always been adjoining open land, although the extent of Willenhall's expansion has meant in the last 100 years its northern border has been moved by about two miles. This is mostly due to housing developments in the Short Heath and New Invention areas.

St Thomas More Catholic School, Willenhall is a voluntary aided comprehensive Catholic secondary school educating children aged 11–18 in the town of Willenhall, West Midlands, England.

Darlaston is an industrial town in the Metropolitan Borough of Walsall in the West Midlands of England. It is located near Wednesbury and Willenhall.

The Lunt is a residential area of Bilston within the city of Wolverhampton and is part of the West Midlands conurbation in England. It was mostly laid out by the local council during the 1920s and 1930s, with houses being built to rehouse people from town centre slums. These houses featured electricity, running water, bathrooms and some with indoor toilets, things that were previously unknown to virtually all of their inhabitants. There were also a few private houses built in the area, although council properties dominated the local scene, with 1,000 having been built by 1927.In the 1990s, a street of houses on the east of the estate were demolished and replaced by a larger mix of private and rented homes. Further demolition was planned a decade later, with a greater number of homes earmarked for demolition, but these plans were scrapped in 2007 and the homes will be renovated instead. However, demolition of another part of the estate took place during 2009. The Lunt is situated near the A463 Black Country Route between Dudley and Walsall, which was completed in 1995. Bilston Town FC play at their stadium in Queen Street, the home of the club since 1919, which has also been shared with other non-league sides over the course of its history. It was refurbished in 2007–8 to meet modern fire standards.

Grace Academy is an Academy in Darlaston, Walsall, England. It is a non-selective co-educational secondary school. It was formerly Darlaston Community Science College which had been placed into special measures by OFSTED in January 2008 and failed to raise standards in the allotted time. As a result, it was converted into an Academy on 1 September 2009 using the same buildings. A new, purpose-built academy building was opened in September 2013, and the previous school buildings demolished to make way for astroturf sports facilities for the new school site. The academy was formerly operated by Grace Foundation incorporated by Lord Edmiston – entrepreneur of International Motors Ltd and founder of the evangelical charity Christian Vision, then became part of Tove Learning Trust on 1 April 2019 headed by CEO Dr Jamie Clarke. Carl Salt was appointed Principal in April 2016 and led the academy to achieve an OFSTED rating of Good in April 2017 implementing significant improvements in teaching, progress and student achievement. The academy is now headed by Julie Anstey, Associated Principal while Carl Salt is Director of Education over the three Grace Academy schools.
