Hugh and Bessie Stephens House, also known as the Lincoln University President's Residence, is a historic home located in Jefferson City, Cole County, Missouri. It was designed by the architectural firm Tracy and Swartwout and built in 1913. It is a 2+1⁄2-story, French Eclectic style stone-clad dwelling. It has a one-story wing and steeply pitched hipped roof with front facing cross gables on either corner. Also on the property are the contributing hipped roof stone-clad garage and retaining wall connected to a square stone gazebo. The house has served as the Lincoln University President's residence since 1965.: 5, 8 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

H. E. Gensky Grocery Store Building, also known as Capitol City Lodge No. 9 F. & A.M. and Cherry Street Market, is a historic commercial building located at Jefferson City, Cole County, Missouri. It was built in 1915, and is a two-story, rectangular, brick building. It has a front gable roof and features a two-tiered, recessed front porch supported by continuous, slender brick columns. The building exemplifies Missouri-German craftsmanship.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

John B. and Elizabeth Ruthven House, also known as the Wehmeyer House and Ruthven-Wehmeyer House, is a historic home located at Jefferson City, Cole County, Missouri. It was built about 1879, and is a one-story, five-bay, Missouri-German Vernacular brick dwelling. It has a hipped roof, arched brick lintels, and an original rear ell.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

Jefferson City, informally Jeff City, is the capital of the U.S. state of Missouri. It had a population of 43,228 at the 2020 census, ranking as the 15th most populous city in the state. It is also the county seat of Cole County and the principal city of the Jefferson City Metropolitan Statistical Area, the second-most-populous metropolitan area in Mid-Missouri and the fifth-largest in the state. Most of the city is in Cole County, with a small northern section extending into Callaway County. Jefferson City is named for Thomas Jefferson, the third President of the United States. Walz Furniture Store (1936), Henry Schmidt Grocery Store (c. 1908), Central Dairy (c. 1935, 1942), and Busch's Florist (c. 1935).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

East End Drugs is a historic commercial building located at Jefferson City, Cole County, Missouri. It was built between 1892 and 1898, and is a two-story, Romanesque Revival style brick two-part commercial block. It features a corner entrance, as well as a highly detailed cornice and attic level windows. It has two individual storefronts on the first floor, and two apartments upstairs behind a single facade.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

Kaullen Mercantile Company, also known as Ben Derkum Store Property and Paul Griffin Marine Sales, is a historic commercial building located at Jefferson City, Cole County, Missouri. It was built in 1896, and a major expansion and rehabilitation of the building occurred in 1923. It is a 2+1⁄2-story, L-shaped, brick two-part commercial block. It has a hipped roof and two hip roof dormers. The building housed a grocery store business from 1896 to 1942, and was in the marine retail service from 1942 to 1977.: 5, 13 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.
