Mount Clemens High School

Mount Clemens is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 15,697 at the 2020 census. It is the seat of government of Macomb County.

Mount Clemens station is a historic railroad depot located at 198 Grand Street in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Thomas Edison learned telegraphy at this station in his youth. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981 as the Grand Trunk Western Railroad, Mount Clemens Station and designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1973. It is now operated as the Michigan Transit Museum.

WKEG is a Class D station operating on the clear-channel frequency of 1030 AM; WBZ in Boston is the dominant Class A station on this frequency. By day, WKEG is powered at 5,000 watts, using a non-directional antenna. While the AM station may only broadcast between sunrise and sunset, WKEG has four FM translator stations which can be heard around the clock: 94.3 W232CA and 104.7 W284BQ in Detroit, 94.1 W231CV in Holly and 103.1 W276DB in Rochester Hills.

Frederick, Michigan, also known as Casino, was a community in Clinton Charter Township of Macomb County, Michigan in the U.S. state of Michigan. It was located on an oxbow of the Clinton River southwest of present-day Mt. Clemens.

Chippewa Valley Schools is a school district with its headquarters located in Clinton Township, Macomb County, Michigan. The district encompasses over 27 square miles, partially serving students of the Clinton Township and Macomb Township along with other nearby districts. It served 16,226 students during the 2016-2017 school year, making it the 6th-largest school district by enrollment in the state. The school district was formed in 1959 through the consolidation of six existing school districts.

The Clinton-Macomb Public Library (CMPL) is a district library headquartered in Clinton Charter Township, Michigan, United States. Formed in 1992, Clinton-Macomb Public Library has three facilities - the Main Library in Clinton Township, North Branch in Macomb Township, and the South Branch in Clinton Township. The Library has a board of eight trustees appointed by Clinton and Macomb Township officials. Funding comes from property taxes and operates as a non-profit status as a Michigan Municipal Corporation.The Library was founded on March 16, 1992, and began operations on May 1, 1992, under State Public Act 24 of 1989 which created the initial district library agreement. The addition of certified staff and 66 open service hours qualified the Clinton-Macomb Public Library for public library certification by the State of Michigan. Once certified by the Library of Michigan, the CMPL began to receive state aid and was enabled to join the Suburban Library Cooperative. It originally occupied space in the Community Education Wing of Seneca Middle School. In May 1997 the library board signed a lease for a 4,200-square-foot (390 m2) storefront and the library moved from Seneca to the new location in the Campus Plaza Shopping Center.In August 2000 the library opened its first branch. The 7,400-square-foot (690 m2) South Branch is located in Clinton Township. The branch was designed to be a popular materials center catering to families in the immediate area. The South Branch moved to a new expanded 19,000-square-foot (1765 m2) location in 2014.The North Branch was opened in July 2001. Also designed to be a popular materials center, the North Branch is 14,000 square feet (1,300 m2).On October 26, 2003, the new Main Library opened in Macomb County. The 84,000-square-foot (7,800 m2) building is the largest library in Macomb County.

The 107th Fighter Squadron is a unit of the Michigan Air National Guard 127th Wing. It is assigned to Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan and is equipped with the Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft. The squadron is a descendant organization of the World War I 107th Aero Squadron, established on 27 August 1917. It was reformed on 7 May 1926, as the 107th Observation Squadron, and is one of the 29 original National Guard Observation Squadrons of the United States Army National Guard formed before World War II.
