ING House is the former headquarters of ING Group at the business district Zuidas of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. It is nicknamed "de schoen" (Dutch for the shoe) or "de kruimeldief" (Dutch for hand held vacuum cleaner). The postmodern design is by Amsterdam-based architects Meyer and Van Schooten (Meyer en Van Schooten). The construction, which took place from November 1999 to September 2002, was undertaken by Heijmans.The building is constructed like a table on 16 angled steel legs. These are independent of each other, resting on pins in large concrete blocks in the ground, a technique also found in bridge construction. On this platform the floors are built. The belly of the building on the second floor is actually at the height of the highway, as the ground is lower than the highway. From the third floor one has a view of the highway. In 2012, the headquarters of ING Group moved to the Bijlmermeer. In 2014, ING subsidiary Nationale-Nederlanden also moved from the building.

The Olympic Stadium (Dutch: Olympisch Stadion, Dutch pronunciation: [oːˈlɪmpiˌstaːdijɔn]) is a sporting venue which was used as the main stadium for the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam. Following the completion of the rival De Kuip stadium in Rotterdam in 1937, the Amsterdam authorities increased the capacity of the Olympic Stadium to 64,000 by adding a second ring to the stadium. In 1987 the stadium was listed as a national monument. AFC Ajax used the Olympic Stadium for international games until 1996, when the Amsterdam Arena, since 2018 renamed Johan Cruyff Arena, was completed. Renovation started in 1996, and the stadium was refurbished into the original construction of 1928. The second ring of 1937 was removed, reducing capacity to 22,288, and the stadium was made suitable for track and field competitions again. Since 2005, the stadium is home to a sports museum, the Olympic Experience Amsterdam.

Amstelveenseweg is an Amsterdam Metro station in the south of Amsterdam, Netherlands. The station opened in 1997 and is served by line 50 and 51 (Isolatorweg - Gein & Centraal Station - Isolatorweg). The station lies in the south of the city and serves as the metro station for many offices, the VU University Medical Center and Olympic Stadium. The metro station is only accessible with an OV-chipkaart or GVB Travel Pass.

Krachtsportgebouw ([krɑxt.spɔrt.ɣəˈbɑu̯], "strength sport building") was a multi-purpose sports arena located in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Known during the 1928 Summer Olympics as the Wrestling Pavilion, it hosted the wrestling, boxing, and weightlifting events. Krachtsportgebouw was designed by architect Jan Wils. It could accommodate 2,840 people seated and 1,794 standing and included a shower, 15 dressing rooms, and an administrative office.
