Church of Our Lady, Lillington

Lillington Library is a public library in Leamington Spa, England. It was designed by Henry Fedeski in a Festival of Britain style. It was built 1959–60 and was Grade II listed in 2015 after Warwick District Council intended to demolish it along with other community buildings in Lillington as part of a regeneration plan. It was built by George Wimpey.

Lillington is a suburb of Leamington Spa, in the civil parish of Royal Leamington Spa, in the Warwick District in the county of Warwickshire, England. Historically a village which existed before the time of the Domesday Book (1086), it was incorporated into the borough of Leamington in 1890. Lillington is a ward of Warwick District Council and Royal Leamington Spa Town Council.

Lillington Free Church is a free church, located in Lillington, Leamington Spa, England. As of February 2019 the current Minister is Rev James Church who is assisted in running the church by ordained elders elected by the church members. As well as traditional Sunday worship weekly events include sunday school, Rainbows, Brownies, Girl Guides, table tennis, coffee mornings and toddler cafe. Like all other Free Churches it has a certain degree of autonomy, although it and its Minister ultimately answer to the national General Assembly. The quarterly church magazine is named The Link.

Eden Court is a high-rise residential building belonging to Warwick District Council located in Lillington, Leamington Spa, England. Construction on the 41 m (135 ft), 14 storey, block of flats began in 1959 and was completed the following year. The tower was constructed by the former Royal Leamington Spa Borough Council at the same time as a wider development known as The Crest. The area also comprises the eight storey Ashton Court and the seven storey Southorn Court and low rise housing. A public house named the Jack and Jill was opened in 1966 to serve the area, along with a convenience store. The pub was closed in 1996 but the shop remains. The 67 bus route operated by Stagecoach links the area to Cubbington and Leamington town centre. In March 2015 a proposal to demolish the block and many of the surrounding ones was considered by the council executive. The idea was to build new low rise buildings in their place. However the proposal was abandoned after a facilitating development on adjoining Green Belt land at Red House Farm was rejected by the Government Inspector and deleted from the Warwick District Local Plan in 2017.

St Mary Magdalene's Church, Lillington is the Church of England parish church of Lillington, Warwickshire, a part of Royal Leamington Spa with a population of about 11,000. The church is at the junction of Vicarage Road and Church Lane. It has been a Grade II listed building since 1949.

The Midland Oak is an oak tree that grows in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, near the Lillington boundary, at the junction of Lillington Road and Lillington Avenue. A plaque nearby unveiled in 1988 states that the old tree, the original centuries old Midland Oak was reputed to mark the centre of England. The present tree was planted about 1988, grown from an acorn saved in 1967 when the old tree, which had died, was cut down. The tree survived the extensive work carried out in 2002, when an underground stream, the Bins Brook, was exposed and an overflow basin was created, to prevent the flooding of nearby houses.

Leamington Cricket Club Ground is a cricket ground in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1900, when Leamington played Stratford-upon-Avon. The ground hosted its first first-class match in 1905, when Warwickshire played Hampshire. In 1908, the ground held its second first-class match, which was between Warwickshire and Somerset. The third first-class match held on the ground came in 1909 between Warwickshire and Hampshire, with the final first-class match at the ground between Warwickshire and Sussex in 1910.Additionally, the ground held several Second XI Championship matches for the Warwickshire Second XI between 1950 and 2007.In 1979, the ground hosted its first ICC Trophy match in the ICC Trophy between the Netherlands and the United States. In the 1982 ICC Trophy it held a match between Zimbabwe and Canada and finally in the 1986 ICC Trophy between Hong Kong and the United States.In local domestic cricket, the ground is the home venue of Leamington Cricket Club who play in the Birmingham and District Premier League.

Woodbine Street Recording Studios is a recording studio located in the town of Leamington Spa, England. There are two recording rooms, the first being the main 31 square metre one. The second is a 13.6 square metre 'live' room which is wood panelled, optimising it for the recording of drums. The studio also offers a CD mastering service and on-site accommodation is available with kitchen, shower room, TV rest area and sleeping quarters for five people.
