Leeds Dock (formerly New Dock and previously Clarence Dock) is a mixed development with retail, office and leisure presence by the River Aire in central Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It has a large residential population in waterside apartments.

The Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, is a national museum that holds the National Collection of Arms and Armour. It is part of the Royal Armouries family of museums, with other sites at the Royal Armouries' traditional home in the Tower of London, and the National Collection of Artillery at Fort Nelson, Hampshire. The Royal Armouries is a non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.The Royal Armouries Museum is a £42.5 million purpose-built museum located in Leeds Dock that opened in 1996. Its collection was previously on display or in storage at the Tower of London where the Royal Armouries still maintains a presence and displays in the White Tower.As at all UK National Museums, entry is free, though certain extra attractions are charged for.

Steander was a small inner city area of the city of Leeds, in the county of West Yorkshire, England, located on the eastern edge of Leeds city centre, between The Calls, York Road (A64 road), the River Aire, and the district of Richmond Hill. The appropriate City of Leeds ward is Hunslet and Riverside. The area was a primarily industrial part of the city, exporting iron, wool, and timber via the directly adjacent Leeds Dock. The area eventually fell into disrepair in the 20th century due to de-industrialisation, with the final industrial unit being demolished in the early 2000s. Most of the old roads in the area were demolished in the 1970s to make way for the Leeds Inner Ring Road. Much of the area around Steander is now home to The Gateway, a mixed-use development constructed in 2006. The most recent developments in the area are the Phoenix and Altitude towers, constructed in 2024, and the upcoming Flax Place development scheduled for completion in late 2026. While the area was primarily industrial, the area did see some habitation, with a census of the city in 1891 recording 423 residents in the area.

Armouries Square is a large public square in central Leeds, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom, adjacent to the Royal Armouries Museum, after which it is named.It was opened as part of a regeneration project which sought to update the area around Leeds Dock with the square being a hard-standing display area for displays by the Royal Armouries Museum.

The Ruth Gorse Academy is a mixed secondary school located in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The school forms part of the Gorse Academies Trust which also includes The Farnley Academy, The Morley Academy and Elliott Hudson College.

The Leeds Rifles War Memorial is a First World War memorial outside Leeds Minster on Kirkgate in Leeds, West Yorkshire in northern England. The memorial was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, one of 15 instances of his War Cross and the only one commissioned by a regiment. The memorial, dedicated to members of the Leeds Rifles who fell in the First World War (with later additions for the Second World War), was unveiled on Remembrance Sunday, 13 November 1921, and is today a grade II listed building.

Penny Pocket Park is a pocket park in the Kirkgate area of Leeds, England. Originally the land was part of the church yard and graveyard of Leeds Minster. As the population of Leeds grew, the grounds and graveyard were split from the church and divided up by roads and railway lines. Although it has been converted into a public park, the gravestones have been kept to adorn the slopes of the railway lines that bisect the land. In 1912 part of Penny Pocket Park became the responsibility of Wade's Charity (formally Thomas Wade Trust), who retain ownership, though it is leased to and maintained by Leeds City Council.

Leeds Minster, or the Minster and Parish Church of Saint Peter-at-Leeds (formerly Leeds Parish Church) is the minster church of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It stands on the site of the oldest church in the city and is of architectural and liturgical significance. A church is recorded on the site as early as the 7th century, although the present structure is a Gothic Revival one, designed by Robert Dennis Chantrell and completed in 1841. It is dedicated to Saint Peter and was the Parish Church of Leeds before receiving the honorific title of "Minster" in 2012. It has been designated a Grade I listed building by Historic England.

Leeds Conservatoire (formerly known as The Leeds Music Centre, the City of Leeds College of Music, and Leeds College of Music) is a higher education music conservatoire based in the Quarry Hill district of Leeds, England. It was founded in 1965 by Joseph Stones. Aside from its education provision, which also includes short courses and programmes for adults and school-age musicians, Leeds Conservatoire hosts a seasonal programme of concerts, largely in its 350-seat auditorium 'The Venue'. In 2011, Leeds Conservatoire was awarded All-Steinway School status, becoming the only conservatoire in England to have 90% of its pianos from the Steinway family.Leeds Conservatoire became a wholly owned subsidiary of Leeds City College in August 2011, and is now a member of the Luminate Education Group. In 2018, the conservatoire regained its status as a Higher Education Institution.

BBC Radio Leeds is the BBC's local radio station serving the county of West Yorkshire. It broadcasts on FM, DAB, digital TV and via BBC Sounds from studios at St Peter's Square in Leeds. According to RAJAR, the station has a weekly audience of 184,000 listeners and a 4.6% share as of June 2023.

Leeds City bus station serves the city of Leeds, England. Owned and managed by West Yorkshire Metro, it is situated between the Quarry Hill and Leeds Kirkgate Markets areas of Leeds city centre. The National Express Dyer Street Coach Station adjoins the bus station.
