Malmö City Library (Swedish: Malmö stadsbibliotek) is a municipal public library in Malmö, Sweden, which opened on 12 December 1905. It has 550,000 different media, about 10,000 DVDs and 33,500 music CDs. In 2006, it became the first library in Sweden to lend video games.

Simhallsbadet is a swimming complex in Malmö city, Sweden owned by the Malmö Municipality. It was known as Aq-va-kul 1988–2015. Today it is mainly used by swimming clubs and schools.

The Church of Our Saviour (Swedish: Vår Frälsares katolska församling) (which means "Catholic Parish of Our Savior") is the name given to a religious building belonging to the Catholic Church and is located in the center of the city of Malmö in the province of Skåne in Sweden. It belongs to the Catholic Diocese of Stockholm (Stockholms Katolska Stif). The congregation was founded in 1870 and its first vicar was Bernhard zu Stolberg. Between 1872 and 1960 there was a parish church, where the Raoul Wallenberg park is now located at the corner of Gustav Adolf Square. It was first called Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, but because the name was perceived as a "Catholic provocation" the name was changed to "our Saviour." The church became too small, so a new one was built in Hästhagen. The new church, which was designed by Hans Westman, was inaugurated on April 9, 1960, by the Rev. Bernhard Koch. The old church at the other location was demolished the same year.

Malmö Borgarskola is a Swedish gymnasium (upper secondary school) located in Malmö, Sweden. The school was founded in 1874 and has a long tradition as an educational institute. The school is renowned for its International Baccalaureate programme, which consistently produces high achieving students. In addition, the students and the faculty have also won several national and international prizes and awards.The school also has strong ties abroad. It hosts official education advising centres for students who are interested in studying in the USA (EducationUSA) and in the UK (EducationUK). Jack Straw visited the school when he was the Foreign Secretary for the United Kingdom.The school offers several programmes, including: Natural Sciences Programme International Natural Sciences Programme Business and Management Programme Social Science Programme Hotel and Tourism Business and Administration International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (in Hospitality Administration)The school is also home to a wide variety of student associations. MBIF, Malmö Borgarskola Sports Association, is one of the oldest sports associations in Sweden. Other associations includes MBEF, Malmö Borgarskola Aesthetics Association, and MBMF, Malmö Borgarskola Mathematics Association. There is also some friendly rivalry going on between Malmö Borgarskola and the nearby Sankt Petri school.

Malmö Opera (Swedish: Malmö opera) is an opera house in Malmö, Sweden. An opera company of the same name presents seasons of opera in this house. Built 1933-1944 by architect Sigurd Lewerentz and, until 1992, known as the Malmö City Theatre accommodating several different organizations, the Opera House is one of the largest auditoriums in Scandinavia with 1,508 seats, created in the form of an enclosed amphitheatre in order to allow for the greatest viewing possibility. It is used for opera, operetta, and musical performances. Influenced by German director Max Reinhardt, a large revolving stage was constructed. The foyer is considered to be beautiful, with its open surfaces and marble staircases, and it is adorned with a number of works of art by artists such as Carl Milles and Isaac Grünewald. An offshoot of the opera company, whose musical director was Gintaras Rinkevicius and Joseph Swensen 2006-2011, is the program of opera designed for participants under the age of 19. This is known as Operaverkstan; it also plans to introduce classic operas for its audience, and sometimes children participate in the productions.

Davidshall is a neighbourhood of Malmö, situated in the Borough of Centrum, Malmö Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden. The urban plan for the area was drawn up in 1924 by the then city engineer Erik Bülow-Hübe. The buildings around the square in the 1920s classicist style were built between 1928 and 1934, some by the builder Eric Sigfrid Persson. The southern part of the square, which is now used as a car park, was originally intended for a building for Malmö City Library, which never materialised.

Malmö Idrottsplats ("Malmö sports field"), commonly referred to simply as Malmö IP and sometimes as Gamla IP ("The old sports field"), is a stadium in Malmö, Sweden, that is primarily used for association football. As of 2015, it is the home of women's association football club FC Rosengård, currently playing in Damallsvenskan; the men's clubs Malmö FF and IFK Malmö have played there in the past. The stadium is the third largest in Malmö behind Malmö Stadion and Stadion, the current home grounds of IFK Malmö and Malmö FF respectively. The Sweden national football team has played at Malmö IP twice, in 1929 and 1949. The stadium's capacity has changed throughout the years with various redevelopments and renovations; it is today 7,600, but was historically much higher. The record attendance at the ground was set on 1 June 1956 when 22,436 people attended an Allsvenskan match between Malmö FF and Helsingborgs IF.The stadium was built as a multi-purpose sports field between March and July 1896 with a grand opening on 4 July 1896. IFK Malmö took up residence at the ground in 1903, with Malmö FF also doing so seven years later; both remained until 1958, when they moved to Malmö Stadion, which had just been built for the 1958 FIFA World Cup. Extensive redevelopment and restoration was carried out between 1978 and 1980, and in 1999; the two Malmö clubs returned following this latter renovation, but Malmö FF went back to Malmö Stadion after a single season. The laying of artificial turf before the 2008 season led IFK to return to Malmö Stadion in protest. The stadium is located on the northern side of Malmö's largest park, Pildammsparken, with Malmö Stadion and Stadion both to the park's south.

Kungsparken is a park in Malmö, Sweden. It is located in the centre of the city just west of the Malmö City Hall and Malmö District Court and surrounds Malmöhus Castle. Up until 1881 it was known as Slottsparken. Because of this and their close proximity, it is sometimes confused with the nearby Slottsparken on maps, which was established in 1897.

Slottsparken is a park in Malmö, Sweden established in 1897. Malmö City Library is located in one corner of the park. Across the canal to the north lies Kungsparken, which was known as Slottsparken until 1881. Because of this name change and the fact that the two parks effectively form one continuous park, there is often confusion about the names, even on maps. The park is a popular place to go for a walk on a sunny day with children on account of the large playground and the many birds living in Big Pond (Swedish: Stora dammen), including ducks, black-headed gulls, grey herons and swans.
