The Hôtel De Brouckère (French: Hôtel De Brouckère, Dutch: Herenhuis De Brouckère) is an Art Nouveau building designed by Octave van Rysselberghe in collaboration with Henry van de Velde on Rue Jacques Jordaens/Jacob Jordaensstraat in Brussels, Belgium.

Tenbosch Park, Tenbosch or Tenbos (French: Parc Tenbosch, Dutch: Tenbosch Park, meaning in the bush), is a public park in the municipality of Ixelles in Brussels, Belgium. Although relatively small with an area of 2 hectares (4.9 acres), it is an exquisitely landscaped park popular among local residents. It is surrounded by a wall and offers an unexpected oasis of calm in a busy district. Tenbosch is within a short walking distance of Avenue Louise/Louizalaan, the Ixelles Ponds, La Cambre Abbey, and the Bois de la Cambre/Ter Kamerenbos.

St Andrew's Church in Brussels (Ixelles) is a congregation in membership of both the Church of Scotland and the United Protestant Church in Belgium (EPUB/VPKB) (in French Église Protestante Unie de Belgique and in Dutch Verenigde Protestantse Kerk in België.) Services are conducted in English. The congregation's mission statement is "We aspire to follow Jesus in bringing the knowledge of God's love to all". In 1830, a Presbyterian Scots Kirk was founded in Belgium and the Reverend Charles Siveright was the first minister. However after the Belgian revolution, there are no further written records of this church. In 1898, The Reverend Francis Gordon was sent to Belgium and conducted Presbyterian church services in various locations in Brussels. This arrangement with services in different places continued for 27 years. The Reverend George R.S. Reid took over from Gordon as minister in 1899 and 150 people attended a Congregational meeting that year. In 1900, the first Elders were ordained. the Kirk Session set up and a special fund created to raise money for building a church. In 1900 the Brussels congregation was included in the Church of Scotland Presbytery of Edinburgh. As of 2016 it is part of the Church of Scotland's International Presbytery (formerly known as the Presbytery of Europe). The present church buildings (located on the corner of Chaussée de Vleurgat or Vleurgatsesteenweg and Rue Buchholtz, Ixelles, off the Louise Avenue) were built in 1925 as a memorial to the Scottish soldiers who had died in Belgium during World War I and can seat 200. The area surrounding the church is notable for its distinctive early 20th century Art Nouveau houses, notably the nearby home of the architect Victor Horta. The once small congregation has grown considerably in recent years, especially as a result of the UK’s accession to (what was then known as) the Common Market in 1973 and the location of numerous international organisations in Brussels, including the European Union and NATO. The congregation in 2013 was very multinational, with more than 30 different nationalities represented. The largest numbers of people came from the UK and Ghana. As of 2014, the minister (since 2004) is the Reverend Dr Andrew Gardner BSc PhD BD, formerly of Flowerhill Parish Church, Airdrie, Lanarkshire, Scotland.

Baron Jean Michel P.M.G. de Selys Longchamps DFC (31 May 1912 – 16 August 1943) was a Belgian aristocrat and RAF fighter pilot during World War II. He is chiefly known for his single-handed attack on the Gestapo headquarters in Brussels in German-occupied Belgium.

Tenbosch (French) or Tenbos (Dutch) is a district of Ixelles, a municipality of Brussels, Belgium. It is a western exclave of Ixelles, bordered by Saint-Gilles to the west and the southern expansion of Brussels with the Avenue Louise/Louizalaan to the east, alongside the neighbouring district of Berkendael/Berkendaal.

The Square du Bois (French: [skwaʁ dy bwa]) or Bossquare (Dutch), meaning "Wood Square", now also known by its nickname the Square des Milliardaires or Miljardairssquare ("Billionaires' Square"), is a gated community in Brussels, Belgium, next to the Avenue Louise/Louizalaan. It belongs to the owners who live there and who bear the cost of maintenance, development and repair.

The House and Workshop of master glassmaker Sterner (French: Maison et Atelier du maître-verrier Sterner, Dutch: Atelier en Woning van meester glasmaker Sterner) was originally the home and workshop of the master glassworker Clas Grüner Sterner, "a Viennese craftsman who specialised in stained glass windows". It is located at 6, rue du Lac/Meerstraat in the Brussels municipality of Ixelles (Belgium), not far from the Ixelles Ponds. It is a prime example of Art Nouveau architecture.

La Cambre Abbey (French: Abbaye de La Cambre) or Ter Kameren Abbey (Dutch: Abdij Ter Kameren) is a former Cistercian abbey in the City of Brussels (Belgium). It is located in the Maelbeek valley between the Bois de la Cambre/Ter Kamerenbos and the Ixelles Ponds. The abbey church is a Catholic parish of the Archdiocese of Mechelen-Brussels and home to a community of Norbertine canons, while other parts of the monastery house the headquarters of the Belgian National Geographic Institute and La Cambre, a prestigious visual arts school. The abbey was founded around 1196. It was suppressed during the French Revolution. Most of today's buildings date from the 18th century; only the church, the refectory and the wing of the capitular hall maintain their medieval character. The simple abbey church houses Albert Bouts' early 16th-century oil painting The Mocking of Christ.
