Sandy Ridge is an unincorporated community located within Delaware Township in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As its name implies, the community is located at the top of a small hill that is sandwiched between the Hunterdon Plateau and the Sourland Mountains. Sandy Ridge Road is the main road east and west through the community while County Route 605 is a minor arterial road that passes north and south through the area. CR 605 enters from the south on Sandy Ridge-Mt. Airy Road, jogs to the west on Sandy Ridge Road for 0.04 miles (64 m), and exits to the north on Cemetery Road towards CR 523. The area consists of mainly residences with some farmland and forestland. The Sandy Ridge Church (with adjacent cemetery) is a Baptist church founded in 1818 with its current building constructed in 1866 and is located in the center of Sandy Ridge.

Green Sergeant's Covered Bridge is a wooden covered bridge over the Wickecheoke Creek near the border between the Hunterdon Plateau and Amwell Valley located in Delaware Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. As the last historic covered bridge in the state of New Jersey, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 19, 1974 for its significance in engineering and transportation (the Scarborough Bridge in Cherry Hill is the only other covered bridge in New Jersey). It was added as a contributing property to the Covered Bridge Historic District in 1999.

The Stockton Borough School District was a community public school district that served students in pre-Kindergarten through sixth grade from Stockton, in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2014-15 school year, the school is part of the South Hunterdon Regional School District, which also serves students from Lambertville and West Amwell Township. The school's student body of 43 made it the smallest operating school district in the State of New Jersey. Established in 1872, the district operated the oldest three-room schoolhouse in the state still in use, the District No. 98 Schoolhouse.In a special election held in September 2013, voters from Lambertville, Stockton and West Amwell Township passed referendums to dissolve (and recreate) the South Hunterdon Regional School District and to combine the three existing K-6 school districts from each municipality (Lambertville City School District, Stockton Borough School District and West Amwell Township School District), with majorities in each community passing both ballot items. A single combined regional district would be created, serving students in pre-Kindergarten through twelfth grade, in which property taxes would be levied under a formula in which 57% is based on property values and 43% on the number of students. The executive county superintendent will appoint an interim board of education for the new regional district, which will be responsible for implementing the merger.As of the 2011-12 school year, the district's one school had an enrollment of 43 students and 4.8 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 8.96:1.The district was classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "FG", the fourth-highest of eight groupings. Located at the top of a small hill, the center of the community is located along Kingwood Stockton Road (County Route 519) near its intersections with Raven Rock Rosemont Road and Rosemont Ringoes Road (CR 604). Farmland (for which it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places) and residences make up the surrounding area while the center of the settlement includes residences, a post office, and an antique shop.

Prallsville is an unincorporated community located along New Jersey Route 29 by the border of Stockton and Delaware Township in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. The Delaware River and Wickecheoke Creek border the community. The Prallsville District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Sergeantsville is a historic unincorporated community located within Delaware Township, in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.Sergeantsville was first settled by a Mr. Thatcher in 1700, and was later named for Charles Sergeant, an American Revolutionary War soldier, in honor of the Sergeant family of which three brothers were local shopkeepers. "Out-of-towners give themselves away when they pronounce the first syllable 'sarge'; it's 'serge.'" Green Sergeant's Covered Bridge, constructed in 1872 across the Wickecheoke Creek, is located just west of Sergeantsville and is the oldest remaining covered bridge in New Jersey.Sergeantsville was officially created in 1827 when it became desirable to establish a post office. Until that time, this largely rural area was known as "Skunktown", perhaps because the town served as a market center for skunk pelts.Sergeantsville's annual "Thanksgiving in the Country" house tour, established in 1973, takes four or five different homes each year, that have historical, architectural or cultural qualities.
