Delaware Township is a township in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Part of the township is on the Hunterdon Plateau, while the southern portions are in the Amwell Valley. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 4,560, a decrease of three people (−0.1%) from the 2010 census count of 4,563, which in turn reflected an increase of 85 (+1.9%) from the 4,478 counted in the 2000 census.The historic community of Sergeantsville is located within Delaware Township, as well as the unincorporated community of Raven Rock.

The Covered Bridge Historic District, in Delaware Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, is a 97-acre (39 ha) historic district along County Route 604, Pine Hill Road, and Lower Creek Road. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 5, 1999, for its significance in architecture, settlement, and transportation. The listing included seven contributing buildings, two contributing structures, and three contributing sites.

Headquarters is an unincorporated community located within the Amwell Valley of Delaware Township in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. The settlement is centered around the intersection of Zentek Road and County Route 604 (Rosemont-Ringoes Road). It is about 3 miles (4.8 km) from Ringoes to the east and 1 mile (1.6 km) from Sergeantsville to the west. The Headquarters Historic District was listed on the state and national registers of historic places in 2011 and had its boundary increased in 2016.

Green Sergeant's Covered Bridge is a wooden covered bridge over the Wickecheoke Creek near the border between the Hunterdon Plateau and Amwell Valley located in Delaware Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. As the last historic covered bridge in the state of New Jersey, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 19, 1974 for its significance in engineering and transportation (the Scarborough Bridge in Cherry Hill is the only other covered bridge in New Jersey). It was added as a contributing property to the Covered Bridge Historic District in 1999.

Sandy Ridge is an unincorporated community located within Delaware Township in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As its name implies, the community is located at the top of a small hill that is sandwiched between the Hunterdon Plateau and the Sourland Mountains. Sandy Ridge Road is the main road east and west through the community while County Route 605 is a minor arterial road that passes north and south through the area. CR 605 enters from the south on Sandy Ridge-Mt. Airy Road, jogs to the west on Sandy Ridge Road for 0.04 miles (64 m), and exits to the north on Cemetery Road towards CR 523. The area consists of mainly residences with some farmland and forestland. The Sandy Ridge Church (with adjacent cemetery) is a Baptist church founded in 1818 with its current building constructed in 1866 and is located in the center of Sandy Ridge.

Sand Brook is an unincorporated community located along County Route 523, Sand Brook-Headquarters & Britton Roads in Delaware Township in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.

Bowne is an unincorporated community located at the intersection of the boundaries of Delaware, East Amwell and West Amwell townships in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.The area is named for Dr. John Bowne, a physician who owned a nearby farm. In the 1870s, the Flemington Railroad & Transportation Company constructed a railroad through the area connecting Lambertville and Flemington with a station (originally named Barber Station, renamed to Bowne Station) at the settlement. This railroad became part of the Belvidere Delaware Railroad and the Pennsylvania Railroad in later years. The railroad's current owner, Black River and Western Railroad, started running passenger trains down to Woodsedge Farm in May 2017. Similar in character to the townships in which the settlement is located, Bowne is surrounded by a mix of farmland, forest, and some single family houses along the main roads through the area, Bowne Station Road and Garboski Road.

The wine appellation includes 96,000 acres (38,850 ha) surrounding the Delaware River north of Philadelphia. Its southern boundary is near Titusville, New Jersey, just north of Trenton, and its northern border is near Musconetcong Mountain. A variety of Vitis vinifera and Vitis labrusca grape varieties can be grown in the area. It has a hot-summer humid continental climate (Dfa) and the hardiness zone is mostly 7a and ranges from 6b to 7b.

As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 495, a decrease of 43 (−8.0%) from the 2010 census count of 538, which in turn reflected a decline of 22 (−3.9%) from the 560 counted in the 2000 census.Stockton was incorporated as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on April 14, 1898, from portions of Delaware Township.

Located at the top of a small hill, the center of the community is located along Kingwood Stockton Road (County Route 519) near its intersections with Raven Rock Rosemont Road and Rosemont Ringoes Road (CR 604). Farmland (for which it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places) and residences make up the surrounding area while the center of the settlement includes residences, a post office, and an antique shop.
