Dow (b. 1866), founder of Dow Chemical Company, from then until his death in 1930. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1976. The house is open for guided tours; admission is charged.

The Dow Chemical Company, whose world headquarters are in Midland, donated the land for the stadium and also purchased the naming rights to the facility in 2006. The stadium name is a reference to both Dow's logo (a red diamond) and that "diamond" is a slang term for a baseball field.

The Earl Stein House is a single-family home located at 209 Revere Street in Midland, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. The house is significant as the first house designed through the Taliesin Fellowship program, established by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1933.
