Moor Park is a municipal park located in the Moor Park area of Bispham in Blackpool on the Fylde coast in Lancashire, England. The park is bordered by Bispham Road to the west, Moor Park Avenue to the south, housing on Bristol Avenue to the north and businesses on Bristol Avenue to the east. It is opposite Moor Park Primary School and Boiks onion sauce factory which opened in 2021

Unity Academy Blackpool is a mixed all-through school with academy status, located in the Warbreck area of Blackpool, Lancashire, England. It is situated on Warbreck Hill Road and is near Layton railway station. It educates pupils aged 3 to 16. The school was originally an institution named Warbreck High School. In 2000 it became co-educational and was renamed Beacon Hill School. Under the Building Schools for the Future programme in 2010 it was planned to merge with nearby Bispham High School, however this was cancelled and in March 2010 the school was renamed Unity College. The school converted to academy status on 1 September 2013, sponsored by the Fylde Coast Academy Trust.

Fylde Memorial Arboretum and Community Woodland is a site of remembrance at Bispham, Blackpool, Lancashire, England. It is the only one of its kind outside the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire. Its stated aim is to provide the service associations, and the people of Blackpool and the Fylde, with a place of peace and beauty in which to remember their fallen comrades and loved ones.

Bispham Rock Gardens, also known as Devonshire Road Rock Gardens or the Rock Gardens, is a municipal park located in Bispham, Blackpool on the Fylde coast in Lancashire, England. The gardens are an important wildlife resource and contains a number of rare species.The main entrance to the gardens is at the top of Knowle Hill on Devonshire Road. Built upon the site of Beryl Hill (A Celtic name meaning Hill, Hill, Hill) which allegedly was the site of a cairn and a beacon to warn of a Napoleonic invasion The gardens run downhill toward Inver Road. Views from the top of the gardens can be seen toward Pendle Hill, Beacon Fell and the Bowland fells.

The Parish Church of St. Mark, Layton, Lancashire, England was built in 1927. The building is home to a Church of England Christian community. St.Mark's is a young church compared to many other churches, but has close links with local history because Layton Village was mentioned in the Norman Era 1066-1154 AD.

Bispham is a village on the Fylde coast in the Borough of Blackpool in Lancashire, England.

Layton cemetery is a graveyard located at Talbot Road in Blackpool, Lancashire in England. It was opened in 1873 when Blackpool parish church was replete with burying. The site encompasses 30 acres (120,000 m2), having been regularly expanded during its history. It is administered by Blackpool Council. A number of memorials in the cemetery are executed in Portland stone. The cemetery was designed and laid out by Garlick, Park and Sykes, architects of Preston. Originally there were three mortuary chapels, Anglican, Catholic and Non-Conformist, but only the Anglican remains. The lodge at the entrance is now used as the cemetery office, situated to the right of the main gates on Talbot Road, it is currently occupied by the friends group, although originally it is where John Wray, the Superintendent & registrar, resided with his wife and their brood of children. Records show that by 1891 eleven people dwelled within the bijou cottage! He recorded burials, exhumations and unusual incidents in copper-plate handwriting from within his office which was also situated inside the lodge. The original part of the cemetery was surrounded a stone wall, topped with iron railings with a double iron gate at the entrance. These structures are extant. A World War I memorial is centrally situated. In the 1930s, the cemetery was rapidly nearing capacity and therefore a new cemetery and crematorium were opened, known as Carleton Crematorium and Cemetery. Layton Cemetery is now replete but interments are permitted in existing graves.

Carleton Crematorium, together with the adjacent necropolis, Carleton Cemetery, is a graveyard located within the Greenlands ward of Blackpool with its main entrance on Stocks Road in Carleton, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, in England. It was opened on 18 July 1935.The building was created by Blackpool Borough architect, J.C. Robinson, who based his design on his own interpretation of the Mausoleum of Mausolus. At the north door is a chapel containing Books of Remembrance, which note the names of all those cremated or interred there.The site is located in Blackpool and partly in Carleton, Poulton-le-Fylde, the crematorium comes under the jurisdiction of Blackpool Council.

It is the third church on the site and was built in 1883.Until 1821 the parish church of Bispham was the only place of worship in Blackpool.
