American School of Doha

Doha College is a coeducational British international independent school located in Doha, Qatar. Doha College (or DC) was established in 1980 and was opened to meet the demands of a British-style education in the country. It has a student body of over 2,101 people from over 76 nationalities. Doha College is an academically selective school, both for admissions and progress between key stages. The school is sponsored by the British Embassy and is a nor-for-profit organisation.

Jassim bin Hamad Stadium (Arabic: ملعب جاسم بن حمد) is an association football stadium in Al Rayyan, Qatar, located about 5 kilometres (3 miles) west from the centre of Doha. It is the home of the Al Sadd Sports Club's association football team, who play in the top-flight Qatar Stars League, and is occasionally used by the Qatar men's and women's national football teams as one of their home grounds. Named after the then-Qatari Minister of Youth and Sports Jassim bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Thani, who had provided permission for Al Sadd's founding members to form the group in 1969, the stadium was opened in 1975, and has since been renovated twice; once for the 17th Arabian Gulf Cup in 2004, and again in 2010. In addition to hosting all matches of the Arabian Gulf Cup in 2004, the stadium has hosted numerous international association football matches throughout its history, including matches of the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup, the football tournaments at the 2006 Asian Games and 2011 Pan Arab Games, and two editions of the Italian super cup, the Supercoppa Italiana.

Al Sudan station is a station on the Doha Metro's Gold Line and serves the nearby Fereej Al Soudan district. The station is also in close proximity to Jassim bin Hamad Stadium and Ali Bin Hamad al-Attiyah Arena

Fereej Al Soudan (Arabic: فريج السودان) is a district in Qatar, located in the municipality of Al Rayyan. It is mainly a residential area. In the 2015 census, it was listed as a district of Zone 55 which has a population of 283,675 and also includes Bu Sidra, Al Aziziya, Al Waab, New Fereej Al Ghanim, Muaither, Al Mearad, Fereej Al Manaseer, Fereej Al Murra and Al Sailiya. It is also listed as a district of Zone 54.It borders Al Waab district to the south and Fereej Al Nasr and Al Sadd districts in Doha to the east. The district is connected to Al Waab through Al Waab Street, and both districts are being jointly developed as part of the Fereej Al Soudan District Centre plan. Furthermore, the District Centre will be complemented by infrastructure built in the neighboring Al Rayyan South Metropolitan Centre and Al Sadd Town Centre.

Ali Bin Hamad al-Attiyah Arena (Arabic: صالة علي بن حمد العطية), is an indoor sports arena in Doha, Qatar. It was built for the Qatar Olympic Committee, in order to host the 2015 World Men's Handball Championship.After the tournament, the management of the arena was transferred to Al-Sadd Sports Club, to become the home venue for Al Sadd Handball Team.

Al Waab QLM station is a station on Doha Metro's Gold Line and serves Al Waab district.

Stafford Sri Lankan School Doha was inaugurated in October 2001 under the patronage of former Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Qatar, Meerasahib Mahroof. The school is affiliated with the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Qatar and runs as a nonprofit organization. The Patron of the school is the serving Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Qatar. The school is governed by a board of trustees.

Al Waab (Arabic: الوعب, romanized: Al Wa‘b) is a district situated between the municipalities of Doha and Al Rayyan in Qatar. The district has witnessed tremendous growth beginning in the mid-1990s, resulting in the construction of numerous residential compounds to house expatriates, villas, and commercial and medical developments. It is a district of Al Rayyan City, which, in turn, is a part of Metropolitan Doha.Located roughly 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from the Doha's city center, the district is located next to some of Doha's most popular attractions such as the Aspire Zone and Villaggio Mall, both of which are located on Al Waab Street in neighboring Baaya. Gated compounds are very common in this district, numbering at 21 in 2016. Several Western-curriculum schools are located in or adjacent to the district, such as Doha College, Newton International School, and the American School of Doha.

Al Mamoura (Arabic: المعمورة; also spelled Al Ma'amoura) is a district in the municipality of Al Rayyan in Qatar. Many international schools are found here.

German International School Doha (GIS Doha; German: Deutsche Internationale Schule Doha) is a German international school in Al Mamoura, Doha, Qatar. It serves Kindergarten through grade 11, and it was established in October 2008.

Zone 39 is a zone of the municipality of Ad Dawhah in the state of Qatar. The main districts recorded in the 2015 population census were Al Sadd, New Al Mirqab, and Fereej Al Nasr.

Mehairja (Arabic: محيرجة; also spelled Mehairqa) is a district in Qatar, located in the municipality of Al Rayyan.In the 2015 census it was listed as a district of Zone 54, which has a population of 24,593 and also includes Baaya, Muraikh, Luaib, Fereej Al Soudan, and Fereej Al Amir.It borders Fereej Al Soudan to the east, Al Waab and Al Aziziya to the south, Muraikh and Luaib to the north and Baaya to the west.
