The Hillside Festival is an annual three-day, five-stage (including one kids' stage) summer festival occurring in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, hosting musicians, spoken word artists, workshops and more. The Hillside Festival occurs in late July on Guelph Lake Island.

The facility opened as a 12-bed unit on 16 August 1875.This hospital rated as one of the safest in Canada in terms of the hospital standardized mortality ratio (the lower the better) at 78 in 2017, compared to the national average of 91. Also in 2017, the facility was among the best in Ontario in terms of wait times at the Emergency department.

Guelph Airport (TC LID: CNC4) is located in the southeastern part of Guelph/Eramosa at its border with Guelph in Ontario, Canada. It consists of two runways, 14/32 and 06/24. Although known to residents as the "Guelph Airport" or "Guelph Airpark", it is actually an aerodrome, being registered, and not certified, by Transport Canada. The airport is classified as an airport of entry by Nav Canada and is staffed by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) on a call-out basis from the Region of Waterloo International Airport on weekdays and the John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport on weekends. At this airport the CBSA handles general aviation aircraft only, with no more than 15 passengers.Founded in 1954 by aviation enthusiast Len Ariss, the aerodrome remained in the Ariss family until August 2011 when it was sold to Inglis Berry.

This riding has had a Liberal MP since 1993.From 2008 until his decision not to run in 2015, the riding's parliamentary seat was held by Liberal MP Frank Valeriote. Valeriote had announced his intention to retire on November 15, 2014. The Liberal candidate in the 2015 federal election in the riding was Lloyd Longfield, who previously served as president of the Guelph Chamber of Commerce. Longfield was first elected on October 19, 2015 and reelected on October 21, 2019.

Hastings Stadium, officially the David E. Hastings Stadium, is a baseball park located in the Exhibition Park area of Guelph, Ontario. It is home to the Guelph Royals of the Intercounty Baseball League and the home of the Guelph Silvercreeks. It is named after a local baseball player who was active from 1943 to 1968, first in Minor Baseball and then in the Senior Intercounty league. He then went on to manage the Guelph Junior and Senior teams until 1973. He was also mayor of Guelph, 1958–1960.The current grandstand was built in 1987 to replace the one built in 1924. The infield was renovated in the fall of 2013 by the City of Guelph Sportsfield Department, the field underwent renovations to the outfield fencing, bull pens, and foul poles, and replacement of the scoreboard and sound system in 2017.
