The Gildencroft Quaker Cemetery is a historic cemetery in Chatham Street, Norwich, Norfolk, England, where many of the city's Quakers were buried including the writer Amelia Opie. Many members of the Gurney family – who had a major influence on the development of Norwich – are buried here. The family founded Gurney's Bank.As of 2009, access to the cemetery is limited to regular business hours.

Surrey Chapel is a Free Evangelical church in Norwich, Norfolk, England. It was founded in 1854 by the Evangelical Robert Govett, in a public hall in Surrey Street (which has been called 'no earthly gem' architecturally). It is perhaps best known as being home to the missionary Elsie Tilney, who, during World War II, travelled to Vittel to assist in the rescue of Jews and other foreign nationals imprisoned by Nazi Germany. The church was also attended by British missionary Margaret E. Barber. In the twenty-first century, the chapel was known for its work in the local community, including debt advice, and participation in the local football league.

St Augustine's Church is a redundant Anglican church building in the city of Norwich, Norfolk, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building. and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. The church stands to the west of St Augustine's Street, the A1024 road, to the north of the Norwich inner ring road.

St Laurence's Church, or St Lawrence's Church, is a redundant Anglican church in St Benedict's Street, Norwich, Norfolk, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building, and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. It stands on a sloping site between Westwick Street and St Benedict's Street.

St Crispin's Bridge, formerly known as Station Bridge, is a grade II listed wrought iron arch bridge over the River Wensum in Norwich, England, carrying St Crispin's Road. The bridge was constructed in 1882 by Barnard, Bishop & Barnard. Its opening took place the same year as the opening of the nearby Norwich City railway station, after which it was originally named. City Station closed in 1969. It is next to what is now the Barn Road roundabout, and serves the south carriageway of the Norwich ring road; in the 1970s, a pre-cast concrete companion bridge was constructed immediately north of the bridge. The bridge has a flat-arched wrought iron span of 55 ft (17 m) with latticed spandrels, and is 26 ft (8 m) wide. It features riveted steel girders with a cast iron lattice balustrade. The words "Norwich Barnard, Bishop & Barnards 1882", are displayed on the parapet plinth.

The Norwich Playhouse is a theatre in St George's Street, Norwich, Norfolk, England. It opened in 1995 in a nineteenth-century building that was once a maltings, and is a venue for theatre, comedy, music, cabaret and other performing arts. It seats 300. Television personality and theatre actor Stephen Fry is a patron. In March 2018 the Playhouse won a Chortle Award, naming it the Best Comedy Venue in the East & Midlands. Norwich Playhouse is a firm favourite with many comedians, including Mark Watson, Tim Minchin, and Sara Pascoe. The Playhouse Bar is a popular bar attached to the theatre, known for Ceilingopolils (a cardboard cityscape attached to the ceiling of the bar). It recently celebrated its twentieth birthday.

The Duke's Palace was the palatial seat of the Duke of Norfolk in Norwich, England. It was located close to Norwich's Charing Cross in the parish of St John Maddermarket. Built from 1561 to 1567 and enlarged in the 1660s under Henry Howard, 6th Duke of Norfolk, it housed a royal visit from King Charles II of England in 1671, and was rebuilt in a modern style in 1672, also under Howard. The palace was known to quickly deteriorate and was prone to subsidence due to its location very close to the River Wensum, on boggy ground. Despite praise for the house itself, its location in a more industrialised area of the city was deemed unpleasant by its contemporaries. It was abandoned by 1711 and then largely demolished between then and 1714, its remainder becoming a workhouse before it was fully demolished in the 19th century. A multi-storey car park now exists in its place.
