This list collects the transport-related vehicles exhibited or owned by the Museum of Transport and Technology (MOTAT) in Auckland, New Zealand.

The Museum of Transport and Technology (MOTAT) is a science and technology museum located in Western Springs, Auckland, New Zealand. It is located close to the Western Springs Stadium, Auckland Zoo and the Western Springs Park. The museum has large collections of civilian and military aircraft and other land transport vehicles. An ongoing programme is in place to restore and conserve items in the collections. This work is largely managed by volunteers but, since the passing of the Museum of Transport and Technology Act in 2000, has been supported by full-time professional museum staff. New public programmes and facilities now promote the collections. MOTAT was established in 1960 by a combination of groups including the Old Time Transport Preservation League, which was formed in 1957 and preserved trams and railway locomotives. MOTAT was formally opened in 1964.

The Western Springs Pumping Station, located in the Auckland suburb of Western Springs, was constructed between March 1875 and March 1877. It was formally opened by the Auckland City Council on 10 July 1877. The pumping station was commissioned by the Auckland City Council to pump water for Auckland's first major public water supply system. A twin beam engine, supplied with steam by four Lancashire boilers, was housed in brick buildings. The pumping station remained in regular use until the late 1920s when the Auckland water supply was shifted to a series of dams in the Waitākere Ranges. The station was officially decommissioned in 1936. The pumping station buildings and beam engine were gifted to the Museum of Transport and Technology (MOTAT) with the formation of the museum in the early 1960s to preserve the site and act as the museum's first buildings. Restoration of the beam engine began in 1964 and continued in stages over the following 44 years, returning it to an operational state. The restored beam engine was officially opened by New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark on 19 April 2008. As well as the beam engine, the site now houses several other operational historic steam engines. The Western Springs pumping station is recognised by Pouhere Taonga Heritage New Zealand as a Historic Place Category 1.

Western Springs Stadium is a stadium in Auckland, New Zealand. Built within a natural amphitheatre, it is primarily used for rugby union matches during the winter and for speedway during the summer. It is also occasionally used for large concerts and festivals. Western Springs Stadium has a crowd capacity of 20,000 for sports and 49,000 for concerts. It is located four kilometres west of the city centre in the suburb of Western Springs.

Ponsonby District Rugby Football Club is a rugby union club based in Auckland, New Zealand. The club was established in 1874 and is affiliated with the Auckland Rugby Football Union. Ponsonby is the oldest extant member of the Auckland union, and the second oldest club in the Auckland region, after North Shore, who are now affiliated with the North Harbour Rugby Union. The men's premier team have won the Auckland Premier competition a record 45 times, including 33 times since the introduction of the Gallaher Shield, itself named after Ponsonby stalwart Dave Gallaher. Ponsonby have dominated the Auckland competition in recent years, having been champions on eight consecutive occasions between 2004 and 2011. The club has produced numerous All Blacks, the most recent being Rieko Ioane.

Western Springs is a residential suburb in the city of Auckland in the north of New Zealand. It is located four kilometres to the west of the city centre, Auckland CBD. The park is situated to the north of State Highway 16 and the residential suburb is located southeast of the park on the opposite side of State Highway 16. The suburb is dominated by Western Springs Reserve (featuring a lake with a variety of birdlife), within which are situated Auckland Zoo, Western Springs Stadium and M.O.T.A.T. (the Museum of Transport and Technology). The park is the location of the annual Pasifika Festival, one of Auckland's most popular public events. Across the road from the zoo is the school of Western Springs College, with a student population of around 1789.

Western Springs Reserve, also known as Western Springs Lakeside Park, consists of a sanctuary for wildlife, surrounding a lake fed by the natural springs. There are walking paths surrounding the lake with bridges going across sections of it. Auckland Zoo, MOTAT and Western Springs Stadium are all situated around the park.

Fowlds Park is a small public reserve in the northern part of Mount Albert, in Auckland City.

Auckland Institute of Studies (AIS) (formerly AIS St Helens; Māori: Te Whare Wānanga ki Hato Herena) is the leading privately owned tertiary institute in Auckland, New Zealand. AIS was established in 1990, in Auckland's Downtown shopping centre. It moved into the former St Helens Maternity Hospital in Mt Albert, Auckland in 1993, after converting it into a tertiary residential campus. The institute now has two campuses in Mt Albert: St Helens Campus, located at 28a Linwood Ave and Asquith Campus, located at 120 Asquith Ave. AIS offers bachelor and masters level degree programmes in business, information technology, tourism management, and hospitality management. The institute's own English Language Centre offers a range of English language courses including English teacher training (CertTESOL). The institute is closely affiliated with the Centre for Research in International Education (CRIE).

Auckland Zoo is a 16.35-hectare (40-acre) zoological garden in Auckland, New Zealand, situated next to Western Springs Park not far from Auckland's central business district. It is run by the Auckland Council with the Zoological Society of Auckland as a supporting organisation. Auckland Zoo opened in 1922 experiencing early difficulties mainly due to animal health issues. By 1930 a sizeable collection of animals had been assembled and a zoological society formed. The zoo consolidated during the Second World War and was at that time under the leadership of Lt. Col. Sawer. After the war the collection was expanded, and in the 1950s chimpanzees were acquired to provide tea parties for the public's entertainment, but this practice ceased in 1964. In 1973 the zoo expanded into the adjacent Western Springs park. From the late 1980s to the present day, many old exhibits were phased out and replaced by modern enclosures. In 2011 the zoo opened its largest development, Te Wao Nui, which exhibits native New Zealand flora and fauna. The zoo is separated loosely into areas defined by the region of origin of the species exhibited, its taxonomy, or by biome. The zoo plays a part in conservation (mainly of New Zealand species), research and education. It has many modern features such as the New Zealand Centre for Conservation Medicine (NZCCM). Auckland Zoo is a full institutional member of the Zoo and Aquarium Association (ZAA), and received ISO 14001 accreditation for its Environmental Management System in 2007.

Mount Albert School is a primary school in the suburb of Mount Albert, Auckland, New Zealand that caters for boys and girls from Year 1 to Year 6. it currently has a roll of 495 and its current principal is Marian Caulfield.

Western Springs College (Māori: Nga Puna O Waiorea) is a state co-educational secondary school located in Western Springs, an inner suburb of Auckland, New Zealand. The school educates approximately 1789 students, from Years 9 to 13 (ages 13 to 18). The school was originally part of Seddon Memorial Technical College, but was moved to the current Western Springs site in 1964.
