Bay and Basin 92.7FM (call sign: 2BAB) is a permanent licensed community radio station based in Sanctuary Point, on the New South Wales South Coast, Australia. It is licensed to serve the towns of Vincentia, Sanctuary Point, Huskisson, St Georges Basin and Basin View and surrounding villages, on the frequency of 92.7 FM. The signal can be received from Gerringong to Ulladulla.

It is roughly 25 kilometres (16 mi) south of Nowra, and approximately 200 kilometres (120 mi) south of Sydney. The Parish of Bherwerre is a parish of the County of St Vincent in New South Wales which formerly included the area that is now the Jervis Bay Territory, which was transferred to the Commonwealth of Australia in 1915. Because of this, the parish is now less than half the size it was in the nineteenth century. The Jervis Bay Territory Acceptance Act of 1915 mentions that 18,000 acres (7,300 ha) of the parish were transferred to the Commonwealth. The Seat of Government Acceptance Act of 1909 mentions that three separate parcels in the parish were planned to be transferred to the Commonwealth from Bherwerre, along with land in other nearby parishes, although the actual land transfer in 1915 was only made up of land in the Parish of Bherwerre. The land mentioned in the 1909 act was a 2-square-mile (5.2 km2) portion, a 412-acre (167 ha) portion, and the 132 acres (53 ha) of Bowen Island. At the time, the parish was located in Clyde Shire. The parish now includes the towns of Sanctuary Point and Vincentia, and also the village of Hyams Beach. The parish is bounded by St Georges Basin at Erowal Bay in the south, the Jervis Bay Territory in the south-east, Jervis Bay in the east and Moona Moona creek in the north.

Vincentia High School is a government-funded co-educational comprehensive secondary day school, located in the town of Vincentia in the South Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. The school is located adjacent to Jervis Bay. Established in 1993, the school enrolled approximately 1,000 students in 2018, from Year 7 to Year 12, of whom 16 percent identified as Indigenous Australians and five percent were from a language background other than English. The school is operated by the NSW Department of Education.

Booderee National Park and Botanic Gardens, formerly Jervis Bay National Park and Jervis Bay Botanic Gardens, are located in the Jervis Bay Territory of Australia. In 1992, Jervis Bay National Park was declared. The local Aboriginal community was offered two seats on the park's Board of Management and declined as part of a protest over land rights issues. In 1995, the park was transferred to the Wreck Bay Aboriginal Community. At this time, the name of the park was changed to "Booderee". The name, meaning "bay of plenty" or "plenty of fish" in the Dhurga language, was chosen by the local Aboriginal community. It is now co-managed with Parks Australia.

It is also a tourist spot with a beach area featuring white sand and a number of motels.

Tomerong is a village in the South Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. It is located approximately 180 kilometres by road south from the state capital Sydney and 20 kilometres south of the commercial centre of the City of Shoalhaven, Nowra in the County of St Vincent. The village is eight kilometres inland of the western shores of Jervis Bay. Its population at the 2021 census was 1,194.With a history of farming and sawmilling, the village and its environs is now primarily low to medium density residential, providing easy access to tourist areas such as Huskisson on Jervis Bay and the commercial centre Nowra. West and south west of the village the land is predominantly State Forests and Crown Land adjoined by the Morton National Park.
