Chop (Ukrainian: Чоп, Hungarian: Csap) is a railway station that is located in a small city of Chop, Zakarpattia Oblast in Ukraine. It is part of the Uzhhorod administration (Lviv Railways).

Chop (Ukrainian: Чоп, Hungarian: Csap, Slovak: Čop, Rusyn: Чоп, Yiddish: טשאָפּ) is a city located in Zakarpattia Oblast (province) of western Ukraine, near the borders of Slovakia and Hungary. It is separated from the Hungarian town of Záhony by the river Tisza by being situated on its right bank. Located inside Uzhhorod Raion, since 2003 it is designated as a city of oblast significance – not included in any raion (district) of the oblast. Today, the population is 8,626 (2022 estimate).

Tysaashvan (Ukrainian: Тисаашвань; Hungarian: Tiszaásvány, Ásvány) is a village located in the Uzhhorod Raion (district) in the Zakarpattia Oblast (province) in western Ukraine. It was known as "Minieralnoye" between 1945–1995. It had a population of 852 according to the 2001 census. 95,7% of the population (815) was Hungarian majority.

Záhony (Ukrainian: Загонь) is a town in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county, Northern Great Plain, eastern Hungary. It covers an area of 6.97 km2 (3 sq mi) and has a population of 4675 people (2005). It is near the Ukrainian border (at Chop and Solomonovo) and was part of Ung county before the Treaty of Trianon. Road and railway border crossings into Ukraine are located here. The Ukrainian town across the border is Chop.

Tiszaszentmárton is a village in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county, in the Northern Great Plain region of eastern Hungary. The settlement can be reached by road: on road 4 to Tuzsér, then to the left to Tiszabezdéd, from Záhony.

Záhony (Hungarian: Záhonyi járás) is a district in northern part of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County. Záhony is also the name of the town where the district seat is found. The district is located in the Northern Great Plain Statistical Region. This district is a part of Rétköz geographical region.

The crossing is situated on Highway M06. Across the border on the Hungarian side is the town of Zahony, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County, Northern Great Plain. The type of crossing is automobile. The types of transportation for automobile crossings are passenger and freight. Pedestrian and bicycle movement is closed.The port of entry is part of the Tysa customs post of Chop customs.

Solomonovo (Ukrainian: Соломоново; Hungarian: Tiszasalamon, Salamon) is a village in Uzhhorod Raion (district) of Zakarpattia Oblast (province) in western Ukraine. It is located 2 km (1.2 mi) west of the Chop railway station. It had a population of 1,342, according to the 2001 census. It is the most western Ukrainian municipality. The distance to the most eastern village Rannya Zorya in the Luhansk Oblast is 1,500 km (930 mi). The village is located in close proximity to the city of Chop and Ukrainian border with Hungary and Slovakia. The village is well known for its Škoda owned Eurocar subsidiary. Situated on the Highway M06 (part of the European route E573), in the village is located vehicle border crossing with Hungary Chop–Tysa to Záhony and railway border crossing with Slovakia Chop–Strazh to Čierna nad Tisou. According to the Ukrainian Census, about 60% of the population speak Hungarian, while over 37% speak the Ukrainian language.

It is part of the Uzhhorod administration (Lviv Railways). The station became a border crossing when the checkpoint was transferred from Batievo to Solovka that is located closer to the border.The station is an important freight transportation gateway to Ukraine. The station is located in the vicinity of Chop where is located the main railway station in the region. It is located near a railway bridge over Tysa. Solovka serves freight trains exclusively.
