The Gallery of Matica Srpska (Serbian: Galerija Matice Srpske, Serbian Cyrillic: Галерија Матице Српске) is one of the largest and oldest galleries in Serbia. It is located in the central zone of Novi Sad, next to Pavle Beljanski Memorial Collection. The Gallery was established on 14 October 1847, with contributions from Sava Tekelija who left a valuable family portrait collection to the Matica Srpska, and other Serb merchants who made endowments and donations to the gallery. The building of Gallery of Matica Srpska was declared a Monument of Culture of Great Importance in 1979. The Gallery of Matica Srpska has acted as an independent institution apart from Matica srpska since 1958. Collections in The Gallery of Matica Srpska mostly consists of paintings from all periods of the national history of art.

The Gallery of Fine Arts – Gift Collection of Rajko Mamuzić, which represents a modern museum-gallery type of institution, was founded in 1972 and opened to the public in 1974. It is located in Novi Sad, Serbia, in a building built according to the designs of architect Filip Smith for the Radulović family of Novi Sad. The basic fund of the Gallery represents an anthology of Serbian fine arts from the second half of the 20th century and it contains over 800 works of art, including paintings, sculptures, and drawings by 35 artists: Danica Antić, Miloš Bajić, Slavoljub Slava Bogojević, Kosara Bokšan, Lazar Vozarević, Lazar Vujaklija, Matija Vuković, Angelina Gatalica, Ksenija Divjak, Aleksandar Zarin, Boža Ilić, Nikola Koka Janković, Ljubinka Jovanović, Olivera Kangrga, Majda Kurnik, Aleksandar Luković - Lukijan, Stevan Maksimović, Mario Maskareli, Milorad Bata Mihailović, Mirjana Koka Mihać, Edo Murtić, Petar Omčikus, Vladeta Petrić, Boško Petrović, Zoran Petrović, Milan Popović, Mića Popović, Milica Ribnikar, Ljubica Cuca Sokić, Jovan Soldatović, Mladen Srbinović, Aleksandar Tomašević, Stojan Ćelić, Branko Filipović - Filo and Dragutin Cigarčić. Collector and donor Rajko Mamuzić chose the first post-war generation of artists who, having rejected the laws of socialist realism, took the way of liberated art without any prejudices and dogmas. Nowadays, they represent the most prominent names of Serbian modern arts with the seven of them being members of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SANU). The Gallery is organized thematically, including individual and retrospective exhibitions as well as lectures on authors, and seminars on art and concerts.

Isidora Sekulić Gymnasium (Serbian: Гимназија "Исидора Секулић", Gimnazija "Isidora Sekulić") is a secondary school in Novi Sad, Serbia. It is named after Isidora Sekulić, a famous Serbian writer. It was founded in 1990. The gymnasium has two educational courses, science-mathematics course and humanities-linguistics course, represented with 8 classrooms (4 for each course path) a year and 32 classrooms in total. Classes are done exclusively in Serbian.

The Novi Sad City Hall (Serbian: Градска кућа, Gradska kuća, Hungarian: Újvidéki Városháza, Slovak: Novosadská Radnica, Rusyn: Новосадска Ратуша) or the Magistrate is a neo-renaissance building housing the municipal institutions of Novi Sad, the capital of the autonomous province of Vojvodina, Serbia. Due to its heritage value, it is listed as a protected cultural monument of the Republic of Serbia. The building is located on Trg slobode (Freedom Square), in the Stari Grad (Old Town) district. The current building has been the center of the city administration for over 100 years while the institution of the Magistrate itself dates back to 1748, the year Novi Sad gained the status of a free royal city.

The Assembly of Vojvodina (Serbian Cyrillic: Скупштина Војводине, romanized: Skupština Vojvodine), officialy known as the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina (Serbian: Скупштина Аутономне Покрајине Војводине, romanized: Skupština Autonomne Pokrajine Vojvodine; Hungarian: Vajdaság Autonóm Tartomány Képviselőháza; Romanian: Adunarea Provinciei Autonome Voivodina; Croatian: Skupština Autonomne Pokrajine Vojvodine; Pannonian Rusyn: Скупштина Автономней Покраїни Войводини; Slovak: Zhromaždenie Autonómnej pokrajiny Vojvodiny), is the unicameral parliament of the autonomous province of Vojvodina in Serbia. The President of the Assembly is Momo Čolaković of the Party of United Pensioners of Serbia (PUPS). The current parliament was elected in 2020. It is elected by proportional representation.

The Banovina Palace (Serbo-Croatian: Бановинска палата, Banovinska palata, Hungarian: Báni palota, Romanian: Palatul Băniei, Slovak: Bánovinský palác, Rusyn: Бановинска палата) in Novi Sad, capital of the autonomous province of Vojvodina in Serbia, is a representative complex consisting of two buildings. The larger Banovina serves as the seat of the Government of Vojvodina, while the smaller Banski dvor serves as the seat of the Assembly of Vojvodina. The buildings, designed by Dragiša Brašovan, were constructed between 1936 and 1940 in modernist style (with art deco and stripped classicism elements) for the administrative needs of the Danube Banovina.

The Serbian National Theatre (Serbian: Српско народно позориште, Srpsko narodno pozorište), located in Novi Sad, is one of the major theatres of Serbia.

Youth Theatre (Serbian: Позориште младих, Pozorište mladih) is a theatre in Novi Sad, the capital of Vojvodina in Serbia. Youth Theatre has two stages: the children's stage and the evening stage. Its ensemble consists of sixteen permanent characters.

Novi Sad (Serbian Cyrillic: Нови Сад, pronounced [nôʋiː sâːd] ; Hungarian: Újvidék, pronounced [ˈuːjvideːk], literally 'New Countryside'; see below for other names) is the second largest city in Serbia after the capital Belgrade and the capital of the autonomous province of Vojvodina. It is located in the southern portion of the Pannonian Plain on the border of the Bačka and Syrmia geographical regions. Lying on the banks of the Danube river, the city faces the northern slopes of Fruška Gora. According to the 2022 census, the population of the administrative area of the city totals 368,967 people, while its urban area (including the adjacent settlements of Petrovaradin and Sremska Kamenica) comprises 306,702 inhabitants. Novi Sad was founded in 1694, when Serb merchants formed a colony across the Danube from the Petrovaradin Fortress, a strategic Habsburg military post. In subsequent centuries, it became an important trading, manufacturing and cultural centre, and has historically been dubbed the Serbian Athens. The city was heavily devastated in the 1848 Revolution, but was subsequently rebuilt and restored. Today, along with the Serbian capital city of Belgrade, Novi Sad is an industrial and financial center important to the Serbian economy. Novi Sad was the European Youth Capital in 2019 and the European Capital of Culture in 2022. It became a UNESCO Creative City of Media Arts in 2023.

Stari Grad (Serbian Cyrillic: Стари Град) is an urban neighborhood and the city center of Novi Sad, Serbia. In the Serbian language, the name "Stari Grad" means "Old Town".

The Bishop's Palace (Serbian: Владичански двор, Vladičanski dvor, Hungarian: Püspöki palota, Slovak: Biskupský palác, Rusyn: Єпископський двір) in Novi Sad, capital of Vojvodina, Serbia, is the official residence of the Bishop of the Eparchy of Bačka of the Serbian Orthodox Church. It is prominent architectural landmarks in the city centre of Novi Sad. It is recognized for its cultural and historical value and has been listed as a protected cultural monument of the Republic of Serbia.

The Eparchy of Bačka (Serbian: Бачка епархија, romanized: Bačka eparhija) is an ecclesiastical territory or eparchy of the Serbian Orthodox Church in the Bačka region, Serbia. It is situated in the autonomous province of Vojvodina and the seat of the eparchy is at Saint George's Cathedral in Novi Sad.
